The premise of this manga is rather interesting, but there seemed to be something missing and the fact that the story jumped quickly left a rather unsatisfied feeling. The artwork for Fujimi Orchestra is very lovely and while it is just a small snippet of the novels, it still kept me interested. My only complaint was how Yuuki and Kei’s relationship was in the first half of the manga, it seemed rather uncomfortable, which I would guess is part of the point of the series. The second half seemed a little better, though again, it was a quick jump and left me wondering how they got to that point after the first half was such a roller coaster.
If you are bothered by non-consensual sex then this may not be for you. Overall the manga is a good read and if you are able to look past the uncomfortable beginning of the relationship then it is worth giving it a shot.
