it's sometimes difficult because the world is full of beauty assessments and I have really low self-confidence, so I sometimes look at the photo or video and it's like a shock. "OH MY! why do I look like this?" etc.

I know. Beauty is everywhere. It feels like there's a standard as to what people should look like and you're second class if you don't meet that standard. I hate looking in the mirror. It just reminds me that I'm fat, ugly and hairy with frizzy, flyaway hair and a huge head. Seriously, I get asked if I'm pregnant. When I go to Asia, people stand up for me and offer their seat. Someone at the airport asked if I was pregnant because pregnant people aren't supposed to fly. Back in my hometown there was this friendly old Chinese lady who used to joke that I was eight months already. I'd laugh along with it but inside I was crying.

 

The thing I hate most though is they way people judge others. I guess anyone who's different is judged in some way but like... If an employer is going to hire someone for their shop, they're going to choose someone attractive that will make their business look good. The only jobs I can really get are back of house jobs like dish pig.

It's so sad, and I'm sorry to hear that happen to you. It's horrible as today's population is manipulated by the media. People don't have their own thoughts, opinions, and believe everything they see on television or newspapers. I hate it!

Yeah, according to the media, women should be 5'6", have straight teeth, no blemishes, tanned or white skin, C cup breasts, next to no hair below the neck, a BMI of 19-20 and all that crap. Anything different is a problem. There's no room for diversity. How often do you see an "ugly" advertisement, actor, musician, dancer or TV presenter?
