His smile was so precious. He looked so in love and happy and had that right amount of twinge of flirtiness with Gii. It was great! I like how they captured this scene to be very dream-like. Personally I think Mao was at his cutest in Bibou no Detail. He really gave off this allure that you just wanna protect him and love him. He looked so sweet and cute. From the first to scond took almost 2 years to shot... The director had to change and director Yokoi want to shot Takumi in his vision... So, they need new cast... also, the old cast been working with other project... that is other reason they had to go for new cast... oh so there were 2 years between each one? i didn't knew that. then again, i'm new in all takumi-kun world, so i'm still learning the story and all with that. If you look each cast it might work... but, this isn't just who is look good... We are talking about who portrait better Gii and Takumi and chemistry between them... If you just go for look first cast was good... but, if you think over all about the Takumi-kun series can you really said the first was the best? I believe only hand full of people will said that... That much the cast in other did the good job on portrait the character better... But, this is my opinion... every one have there own view and point... So, if you think they did better job then that is what you see... that is you're view... So I respect your view and I will not said any more about that... i was exactly thinking about it later, that maybe it was just my first impression, since ive just watched the first 2, so far. i'll check the whole thing and then i'll let you know if i still stick with that or if agree with you! =] since i've never read the story before, the whole takumi world is still new to me and i can't say that they do it perfectly or not, so maybe ishould be quiet about it.. hehe. but i promise that i will take a good look on the other movies and make a better review about it! I love Dai-chan too, so I like BOTH of the actors. ^^ I feel that the way I said was little aggressive and made you feel offensive... sorry... T T Some time I just had something in my mind I just had to said it direct so something is sound aggressive... I know every one had there own style and that make us who we are... If I made you feel offensive... forgive me... T T Aww, that was also one of my favorite scenes from the film. Takumi by the window shot. Very pretty XD.. I wonder did they use real lighting or false lighting for that shot. Hmmm I think almost everyone 1st or 2nd favorite scene is this dream scene... Also, even people who read manga some time don't get all the detail... because story itself is like a little puzzle... You just have find the each picese in the story and put that together to understand the whole story some time... I start to know them more and more make me that they really good actors and I start to respact them as actors and how hard they work to build that Takumi & Gii image... Not only Dai-chan and Mao-kun... I really respact the director Yokoi and the staff and other cast... They really put there heart in this movie and work really hard... As I start posting the blog info... I start to know more about the director Yokoi and how the whole behind the story about the movie make me more and more love of Takumi-kun series... I don't get any info on 1st Takumi movie is little be set back... But, still I just love the way they work together as team... The director and casts and staff work as one... that is what make me more and more into Takumi-kun series... I said same thing again... ^^;;; Any way I hope you can find same enjoyment as I did... It's most essential item in movie. As we said it before this glasses seem to be rather too plain. In fact, before we decide we had spent quite some time trying the glasses one by one that prepared by art director. The glasses we try did quite fit, shape and color and so on. For this movie Watanabe-kun's portrait of Gii is "Ice beauty", so the glasses should suitable for this image. We took almost last minute of shooting to looked for this glasses. Well, Watanabe-kun said he look fine with any glasses he wear... (laughs) And, finally we decided the Gii's glasses, it's bit of matte metal frame one. Finally finished with "Ice Beauty"! "Just by one glasses can changed the character." Director Yokoi said. Also re-emerged? Director Yokoi's eyeglasses... Questions Q, How do you always take narration? A, In "rainbow-colored glass," many narration was recorded in advance in the field. But, "Detail of beauty," we took after the shooting for voice only in the studio. Q, Why is each time there is a different location for the dormitory? A, In the "rainbow-colored glass" we only shoot dorm rooms, but, "Detail of beauty" we also shoot the dorm hallways and others. So filming locations had to changed by the use of space. So each time we don't know what will happen next, so by the circumstances we had to change each time. (Laughs) Q, Compared with the previous, how was acting on Hamao-kun, Watanabe-kun and Takiguchi-kun? (all command by director Yokoi) A, [Hamao-kun] compare from "rainbow-colored glass", he did change, he was impressive. He became extremely motivated to play the role. [Watanabe-kun] from "rainbow-colored glass," I think it became more difficult and had more obstacles for him to play the Gii this time. But, when the shooting start, he just over come with all that obstacles. [Takiguchi-kun] the scene where he had to name all that new student, it was very long scenes for him and for us. But, he will say, "Let go for one cut!" and offered motivation changed extremely easy. The result was we taken many times shoot the scene but, the way people move with flow doing is important. I think he got to that skill point(I think that is what Yokoi said but not 100% --; )... Next "10 days of beauty" is closing It is with you "Favorite Scenes" Sorry, I wish I could do this faster... But, this is far as I can do for now... For the Favorite scenes... They put the script in the posting... I am bit worry how I am going to make this work... I want to post pictures too... but, it will be to much... I remember after watching Bibou the first time, I started looking for videos of Daisuke and I came up with this. Daisuke taking off his shirt like that and laying on the bed like that...was not good for my mental health. It makes me nosebleed and makes me pull on my hair again. Well I saw that too... It wasn't my type of video... so wasn't into it much... I like the one he travel to HongKong... Well he did go other place but that was only thing I could found to see... And I thought about may be buy one... then I found that they don't make any more... T T I just can't find other and I can buy one ether, that make me sad... T T I don't know they still have that... Because the one I saw was no longer there... --;;; Any way... As director Yokoi said it before this movie take Takumi's heart and thought tower Gii. But, not only Takumi also Gii's heart and thought tower Takumi was shown in the movie. That reason they increased Gii's scene more. For the scene in Takumi in the Gii's room. They focus on the detail of they emotion so they could go for wild cut... But, for the Misu in the Gii's room was in more close shot in it, it's one of director Yokoi magic shoot... ^^;;; Also, there are lot of memories scene used effectively... But, some scene didn't made in the movie so they put that in Bonus on the DVD. One scene is the when Gii lad down on Takumi’s lap... This scene was plan to put after Takumi run away from the school hallway becasue of first year's rumer... That was scene 30 and the Gii lad down scene was scene 31... But, somehow it did work... So this is end of Special edition... It wasn't that long to begine with... But, still I didn't do much as I should... I am sorry... I feel getting sick not... But, don't worry... It's almost over... --;;; So, see you tomorrow with the essential items in the shooting... What I like the most about the 3rd movie is that Mao really improved alot and he knows how to show his sadness, love, and happiness all through the eyes. I think with this role Mao has stepped forward in his acting career since its emotionally hard for such a young boy like him, but he still made it. May be because I did too much at once... --;;; But, long as people ar happy and enjoy the post I did that make me happy too! ^^ As you said this was hard for both Mao-kun and Dai-chan... It's all motional detail they had to show... Not too much word... but, it work... Last love scene was also hard but they already got the stage they trust each other... As not only Takumi and Gii but as Mao-kun and Dai-chan got more closer to their character... So, that show in the screen... Mao-kun actually get better when he keep doing he role.... Not only from this... When he play Soji(?) in PeaceMaker... Everyone call him practice holic(some thing like that)... He try and try to get better in his role... Evne during the performance, he keep improve himself every performance(my friend saw last two performance). So, when he put his heart and mind into it, he can do almost any thing... LOL he's like all over the place and joining forces with Taiki is a riot. they're influencing each other so much. and I LOVE THEM SO MUCH!!! WAAAAAH!!! T____T hyper! hyper! hyper!! you know that caught my attention too. Taki sleeping behind Baba-chan. But is that even comfortable? I know those chairs are nice but they're not adjustable. aren't they the same chairs they use in the classroom scenes? they look huge though since it's able to support Taki like that. don't Japanese actors have their own trailers like they do in Hollywood?
