There's a bird's nest on my roof and the baby birds were trying to fly today. My dogs were out in the front yard and I heard a lot of bird noises so I went out to check and it turns out they were trying to fly.

 

One of them dropped to the ground and one of my dogs killed it. Jesus, I screamed bloody murder and ran outside but couldn't make it in time. I know dogs are animals and I can't blame my dog but it doesn't make it feel any better.

 

I'm so sad. I feel stupid too for not being able to save it.
