Lethalyx Posted January 16, 2017 Posted January 16, 2017 I was part of a seminar today and during a short break (because of technical issues), I decided to have a look at a random manga (one shot obviously) on a website. There was this manga that had quite low ratings and I scrolled down to see some comments. These latter were not spoilers, but rather "what the * did I just read?" "Okay. Wait. No." "Dunno how to feel about this one" "LMAO". Not only do these kind of comments awake my curiosity but it also makes me automatically smile. So I decided to read it. Never had such a brilliant idea before. True genius here. Last night on YO, someone told me "Curiosity killed the cat" (thank you Anonymous-san). They couldn't be anymore right than that. During the last 10min of the seminar, be it talking or answering question, there was only one thing on my mind. I was really tired (and a bit feverish). And when I'm in that state, I don't really control what I say (if I have to say something and I think of something else at the same time, I'll end up telling what's on my mind and not what I'm supposed to say). So, naturally, instead of answering a question by asking another one to show how absurd the initial one was, I heard myself saying "what does a hybrid born from a human and a hen look like?" I highly recommend you "Children can't choose their parents" (9 pages, totally worth reading it. For general knowledge of course.). If someone can give me an answer, I would be really happy. Since no one at the seminar was able to give me one. Apart from the silence. Big silence. NB: I wonder what the author's state of mind was when doing this one shot. Perhaps they were bored with the usual stuff. Or love chicken to the point of no return. But hates eggs. Or something like this. Whatever. Just need a new compos mentis right now.
