Teesie Posted January 10, 2017 Posted January 10, 2017 No worries, I understood what you meant. There was a time where I was optimistic about everything, and all that (won't get into it.) But then reality really crushed everything, and I realized that yeah, I can't stay ignorant about things anymore. The truths I learned, the reality I discovered was harsh, and there were times I didn't think I could make it through. But it is what it is, and like you said, I learned to just be me. Be true to who I am, and embrace every aspect of what makes me, me. Good or bad. Because that is the reality, and that is who I am. Sure, everyone gets to a dark place, but that's just part of who we are. I don't see it as a bad thing anymore, just another part of who I am. Frankly, I wouldn't change learning how harsh reality is, because otherwise I would still be the lame person I was before. Haha. XD Ahaha. Negative. My oldest brother... The most ignorant soul I know. How I care for him deeply. Anyhow, damn is he never sad. XD I mean, seriously. This guy is never sad. Lucky him.. XD Start to talk reality with him and you'd get frustrated.
