I'm pretty sure she means they will film it this year IF the cast if free to do it... or she's just referring to the other actors of the cast, not the main ones. T_T What do you guys think? They have some chemistry indeed but when we looked from BTS, Johnny is just a follower of ZhouZhou. His eyes showing the affections for Zhou Zhou all this time. So much lovey-dovey and touchy-feely. Now you're thinking like ZZ is desperate to keep in touch with Johnny but mine idea is different. Somehow, I feel like our poor Johnny's heart is being played by ZZ's cute and wicked tricks. Like giving emotional things to feel and trying to distant to make you feel more aggressive and make your heart grow fonder. Like playing hide and seek. Johnny is not the one who would attach to someone easily and after attachment, I feel like he would hold it dearly. Guess Johnny might be the desperate one too. May be I'm so much over-thinking. IMO, it's a fun thing to do, but there's also a responsibility that you have to bear since other people are waiting for your work. I discovered a profound appreciation for the fans who subbed the episodes, novels, fancams, and many more. This takes a lot of time, I agree and to balance it with real life is very hard. (I promise I'll be more patient when waiting for subbed and translated works). Although it's tiring, I feel very accomplished when I can share the translations with you guys. And actually, I'm thinking of subbing the novel but I'm not sure whether I can do it properly, since they said Chai JiDan used a lot of Shanghai slangs. With my limited knowledge, I'm not sure I can get it right. I got the first chapter done and the fifth one halfway. (Anyone interested in reading it?). A few days ago, I emailed Rae Lee (from Just BL Things) and filled the recruitment form that she sent, but she has not replied back yet. The reason I wanted to do this is to improve my Chinese and I really wanted to share the love with the fans who love Addicted. I have heard people talking about how good the novel is. I wanted to read and understand it, but then I thought, why not share it with other people if I am able to. However, translating for your own leisure and translating for other people to read are two different things. So if I wanted to do this, I'm not sure I can do this alone. Hence, I'm interested in translating the novel with other people, so that we could exchange opinions and correct each other (more like correcting and guiding me). But since I am in my last year of university, I'll be very busy and I can only translate during my free time. I'm afraid that when I'm doing my final project, I might have little to no time. Moreover, I have no prior experience and my Chinese language knowledge is limited (I rely heavily on Pleco and Google translate). HJY: I don’t know as well. Maybe they really aren’t brave enough at the first place… I: Then, how was your popularity? HJY: I’m very popular! It also possible that previously, there are examples of people who failed to confess (to me, so others might be scared). I: From the fans' comments or in real life, what the most unexpected request that you ever had? HJY: So far, I have not sign with any company yet. However, in the future, I will consider about this carefully. If it is already certain (fixed), I will definitely tell everyone about it. When Johnny was asked about his ideal partner at the first part of the interview, I often think about how ZhouZhou suits most of his standards LOL. Especially during the part where he said that he preferred when their height is above 175 cm. There aren't a lot of females whose height is taller than 175 cm, so I directly think of ZhouZhou. I'm happy to share the love with everyone. :In love: What I learnt and what I wanted to do: (Warning: long rant ahead) Now, I realized that translating something isn't as easy as it seems. IMO, it's a fun thing to do, but there's also a responsibility that you have to bear since other people are waiting for your work. I discovered a profound appreciation for the fans who subbed the episodes, novels, fancams, and many more. This takes a lot of time, I agree and to balance it with real life is very hard. (I promise I'll be more patient when waiting for subbed and translated works). Although it's tiring, I feel very accomplished when I can share the translations with you guys. And actually, I'm thinking of subbing the novel but I'm not sure whether I can do it properly, since they said Chai JiDan used a lot of Shanghai slangs. With my limited knowledge, I'm not sure I can get it right. I got the first chapter done and the fifth one halfway. (Anyone interested in reading it?). A few days ago, I emailed Rae Lee (from Just BL Things) and filled the recruitment form that she sent, but she has not replied back yet. The reason I wanted to do this is to improve my Chinese and I really wanted to share the love with the fans who love Addicted. I have heard people talking about how good the novel is. I wanted to read and understand it, but then I thought, why not share it with other people if I am able to. However, translating for your own leisure and translating for other people to read are two different things. So if I wanted to do this, I'm not sure I can do this alone. Hence, I'm interested in translating the novel with other people, so that we could exchange opinions and correct each other (more like correcting and guiding me). But since I am in my last year of university, I'll be very busy and I can only translate during my free time. I'm afraid that when I'm doing my final project, I might have little to no time. Moreover, I have no prior experience and my Chinese language knowledge is limited (I rely heavily on Pleco and Google translate). I realize that I looked very pessimistic and insecure, but I'm truly interested. Is there anyone else who is interested? And if some of you have any suggestions or idea, feel free to tell me. When I heard Zhouzhou sang Ten Years, I was wondering: why did he choose this song? Just because he liked it? It would be on his album? Or what? Maybe I was too much in reading between the lines, but I was thinking that either he felt that way or he tried to say something with that song. At that time, they had just split up; Zhouzhou went back to Beijing while Johnny stayed at Shanghai for Angelababy's party then filming the Demon Girl. The emotion was very negative, I must say. The YuZhou ship was ready to sink. But everything changed for the better after the Franco-Sino party, and I think their relations are good now. Btw, I found it is funny that some of the fans are feeling Zhouzhou is the one who chases after Johnny and Johnny is being cold to him lately while yet some other are feeling it is Johnny who shows affections to Zhouzhou while Zhouzhou is rather ambiguous. His eyes showing the affections for Zhou Zhou all this time. So much lovey-dovey and touchy-feely. Now you're thinking like ZZ is desperate to keep in touch with Johnny but mine idea is different. Somehow, I feel like our poor Johnny's heart is being played by ZZ's cute and wicked tricks. Like giving emotional things to feel and trying to distant to make you feel more aggressive and make your heart grow fonder. Like playing hide and seek. Johnny is not the one who would attach to someone easily and after attachment, I feel like he would hold it dearly. Guess Johnny might be the desperate one too. May be I'm so much over-thinking. LOL XD In my opinion, ZhouZhou might be gay from the very start (i just feel it that way and confirmed by myself when i saw his old photo with apron. I bet every single straight person has someone of the same sex they would f**k. There's gotta be one... out of billions of people on earth? The problem is that people see in terms of black and white. It's society's fault for telling them the gender roles and expectations. People say they're straight or gay just to be safe. Labels are rubbish. Only sexual fluidity! I mean, there are 'straight' men doing gay porn- 'gay for pay' or something like that... and ultra macho men are like, "oh oh naw, naw straight, my ass. they're gay!" but then some these men are married and have kids. So is it these 'gay-for-pay' men are in the closets or that these macho men are insecure about their sexuality? There's just too much stigma around it that no one feels comfortable to discuss or even think about what they've been feeling. Most men would just discard these feelings and move on. They don't want to explore their sexuality simply because it'd complicate things. Blah! Someone asked me how did I knew I was bi when I was a virgin, I asked the same question, "how did you know you were straight before you f**ed?" It was absurd question. Then he tried to argue with me that it's 'natural feeling' that being straight is 'default' by what means? procreation? Too many Beijing slangs, however, that was months ago now! My vocabulary definitely grew since then, I could read out chinese words most of the time out of my head instead of looking them up. It's really tough... But maybe I should get back to it and see how much I learned. I thought Chinese isn't too bad, since I already knew Japanese and reading/writing the stroke orders were already helping me a lot. But you even can listen and understand how they speak in Chinese- I am impressed. I'm afraid my strength would be reading the captions. Hahahaha. Because tones............. NOPE!!! (I'm tone-deaf to tones! haah) Ok he said 'xiang' but which xiang???? hahaha hahah I can't do that! So that's why I am impressed.... Hell even some chinese idioms made no sense to me, but when I look them up and translate them to JAPANESE and it made more sense!!! Well, as mentioned in the first page, the opening of this thread, the season 2 broadcast is still not clear. I suspect around Fall/Winter. Because they would have to film it around Late Spring, maybe. But it's just a guess. A lot can change in such short periods of time. And also, The link to the translation of the novel is right there too. But the process is very, very slow. I'm not sure how often they update. The cut scenes, well.. there are quite a few. hahaha but they will be on the DVD. (no official news on that yet: Thank you! I am pessimistic too... since I never have confidence in my translations. lol at the "xiang" confusion. i can understand that ^^! in chinese, there is an important element called "shengdiao" (声调), which means tone. so every word has their own tone & pronunciation, which makes chinese language quite difficult, not to mention each region's accent. I think the level of interaction is depending on the theme of the photo shot. In this photo shot, I think they took a formal theme thus limiting friendly interactions (unlike, say, Yoho/Easy). Men's UNO, on the other hand, took "sexy/sensual/bromance(?)" theme, thus we were bleeding to death seeing their photos XD I just watched the same video and I think the photographer took many individual photos, Zhouzhou first, then Johnny, then Zhouzhou again etc. Only in the later part he took photos with both of them. You could see starting 1:45:00 (need to squint, though) that while they were sitting side-by-side waiting for the photographer, they talked to each other (Johnny's head look at Zhouzhou on his right). At first ZZ's answers to the questions weren't that great because he's the type who slowly warms up to people. The interviewer thought that people who are/were in bands must all have that kind of strong personality. After warming up, ZZ started to relax and his slightly more goofy side started to show. In terms of the outfits chosen for the photoshoot, ZZ was against wearing the shorts at first because he's kind of self conscious about his leg hair but he tried it out anyway. The staff were impressed by his professionalism and cooperation. Q: In this show you played BLY who is often "abused" by GH. Which scene gave you the greatest impression/was most memorable? ZZ: The scene that was most memorable for me was the one where HJY and I were intimate for the first time, because our actions and emotions were quite intense. Q: BLY is a top student. When you were in school, how were your grades? What kind of a student were you? ZZ: Although I wasn't a top student, my grades were pretty good. But at that time, I was still rather naughty. My favourite class was PE. Q: In the original novel, BLY's penmanship is really good, it seems like you also practiced your penmanship. What score would you give to your current penmanship? ZZ: 59 points. I think it looks okay if I write each word individually. But when I put a string of words together, the effect isn't as good. (laugh) Q: Its said that for the show, you knitted a scarf to give to HJY. Are you good with your hands? ZZ: When I studied music, I played the guitar so I think I'm pretty good with my hands. When I was knitting, everything went pretty smoothly, but when I finished, I found 3 holes. (Interviewer: Do you still remember HJY's reaction when you gave the scarf to him?) He was happy of course. (laugh) Q:You graduated from an arts school, your dance skills are also pretty good. Do you have any bad memories of your school days? ZZ: Everyday we had to stretch. ZZ answered that he took acting classes in high school and later on in post secondary school. [there's no official Eng name for 海若有因 yet right? >.>] ZZ: The inspiration was something that just suddenly came. At that time I was reading the novel, then I started to try and understand BLY's state of mind. I finished writing these two songs in one day. Q: "海若有因" was sung by both you and HJY, can you rate his singing ability? ZZ: Good! (Interviewer: Are there any other adjectives? During recording, did you give him any suggestions?) He sang pretty well. I let him freely express himself, not giving him any pressure, he expressed himself well. Q: Young people/kids who are in bands usually have a stronger personality, are you the type who is more assertive of their own point of view/opinion? ZZ: I do count as a kid with a strong personality. Q: Men who can play instruments are usually pretty popular with the ladies right? Have you ever confessed to a girl you liked by writing her a song? ZZ: I'm alright. When I was in a band, there actually weren't any girls who thought "Wow, so handsome!" just because I knew how to play the guitar. I also never wrote a song for a girl before because the songs that I wrote back then were more rock and heavy metal, not really suitable for a confession. (laugh) Q: What type of girl you like? If you have a girlfriend, what kind of actions do you think a best boyfriend would do? ["best boyfriend" as in if there's a scale from bad boyfriend to best boyfriend, what sort of actions would the best boyfriend do to be that perfect?] ZZ: (thinking for a few seconds) I don't really have a specific type of girl that I like, I think it's fine as long as the two people get along and have feelings for each other. I think there are a lot of small things in life that can show how good of a boyfriend you are, but the most important thing to have is still the ability to protect your girlfriend. Q: Fans all like your big eyes and thick lips, which part of your body do you think is the most attractive? ZZ: Perhaps everyone notices my eyes when they first look at me, but I still think my nose is pretty attractive. Q: You nickname "Zhouzhou" is pretty cute, do you think you're the cute type of male? Z: Not really. (laugh) In everyday life I'm kind of silly/stupid, there are a lot of people think I have a silly/stupid personality. Q: You have more experience in acting than HJY. During filming, did you give him any suggestions? ZZ: I haven't actually given him any suggestions. HJY is pretty smart, there are some things that he gets in one go. Q: As a Libra, do you feel indecisive easily? ZZ: Yes. When I'm shopping, I'll have a hard time choosing [what to buy], or when I'm making decisions. But once I make a decision, I won't change it. Q: The previous movie you starred in "Gaming Madness" was about gaming. Are you a crazy fan of gaming? ZZ: When it comes to games, I'm not to the point where I'm crazy about it. I just see it as a way to relax. Q: For yourself, what does acting and music mean to you? ZZ: These two are both things that I love doing. Right now, acting is my job.
