Velshaunt is an institution for being's known as Valcinna and Eiroath; to learn of their history, abilities, control and who they are, when of age (18) they were sent there for that (until they're 21) and to find their partner to walk through life with, whether it be romantic or mere friendship. The Eiroath were, in the simplest way of saying, servants to the Valcinna, they'd protect, be a source of blood(even though on Velshaunt grounds its frowned upon), and even in some cases become a lover. They had a natural skill of hand to hand combat, intuition, and a natural protective instinct, some could even read the thoughts of their Valcinna; once bonded with them. The Eiroath, unlike the Valcinna, can make the choice of drinking blood or eating whatever else they want like humans. The Valcinna were more or less a type of vampire, they weren't immortal they just lived longer than humans, they did feed off of humans and Eiroath but not to the point of death and they had the natural abilities of compulsion and telekinesis, however pure blood Valcinna could do much more than that. It was said that a pureblood would have the gifts of second sight(seeing the dead), third sight (seeing through another's eyes) and healing. But very few were documented in history. What If Character Catalogue Yukio- pink Kouu- light blue Yuu- green Extras- white Chapter one What if…. What if. What if was a word that came to Yuu’s mind reputedly. What if was the only thing that let his imagination run wild. Especially from the place he was from. It was always day in day out. Nothing really to it. It would be a great surprise if anything actually did happen. Life was so boring for him. There was no point of it he though sometimes. Little did he know, one decision he made could affect his life greatly. There he sat, at his usual spot by the window at his last period class on day 2. He sighed into his hand that held his falling head up. His eyes suddenly averted from the board and to the clouds outside of the window. The sight of them blowing back as usual made him die of boredom. He couldn’t wait to get out of school, just so he could go home, do his homework, get a snack and then find something to entertain him for the rest of the evening. Riiiiiiiiiing! Finally. The bell rang. He got up and gathered his things to leave as his teacher slipped in a reminder of the homework over the loud noises of the chairs moving and the chattering in both the classroom and hallway. He walked the same route to his boring locker, saying hi to his friends who he’d occasionally pass. He’d open up his locker then take out his bag, putting in his binder then adding other things such as his pencil case or a sweater. He would then close his locker then walked down the closest stairs to the exit of the school, leaving from the back to meet up with his friends. Yep. The same as usual. After he would meet up with all his friends, they would walk to the left side of the school then half of them would split up. They would talk about whatever before another 3 of them would split off, turning at the stop sign. After several minutes of walking, the 6 would become 2. It would be just him and Yukio. They would talk about the most stupid stuff ever. Well he would anyways. They would turn on her street and eventually get to her house. He would sometimes come in for a drink of water or a light snack despite his mom telling him to come straight home. She wouldn’t know anyways, she doesn’t come home until late. For ten minutes plus, he would have to walk by himself. If he was lucky, he would see his neighbours and get a ride from them. But today he didn’t. It was almost like magic to him how it could be such a cold day in the morning yet be so hot in the evening. He just wanted a break, since he decided to not go to Yukio's home today. He went to the park, to swing. Despite his age, he was pretty childish. He placed his bag on to the blue bench that was always behind the swings. He took in a deep breath and let it all out. He was quite surprised he didn’t see his cousin and his friends that usually filled the park around that time. He began to swing. He loved the feeling of the wind that blew threw his hair but this time, the wind was stronger than he thought. The white fluffy clouds he once saw was then gray and blowing faster and faster across the evening sky. He simply got off the swing, placing a blue umbrella he had in his bag, over his back so his stuff didn’t get wet. He walked back to the swings and started to swing again. It wasn’t like the rain was gonna do him anymore harm; it was more fun this way anyways. Not long after, the rain came pouring down. It was at the point where it hurt when it touched his soft pale skin. He got off the swing one last time, running to his back and umbrella. He couldn’t help but laugh at how wet he was. As he walked, the rain cooled. If it wasn’t for the things in his bag and the hard rain, he would have been legit dancing in the rain. Later on, he reached the last block to get to his house. Sometimes, he would feel socially escalated from everyone else since he was the last house on this road that seemed to have no end yet did. He reached in his pocket, taking out his wet key in his wet pocket. Somehow this day seemed a bit more interesting from every other day. He stepped up to his door and unlocked it, being frightened by the thunder's roar. He closed his door then locked it. His house was dark. He hated the dark. It started when I was 2. I don’t know why they did it and for what reason but they just did it. Here I am in my coffin. Not like the ones that dead people lay in but more of the type Egyptian mummies laid in; it tightly fits around my body. It’s also around 12 am. It’s time to take action. For the last 5 years, I took notes. I made plans to escape this place for good. Now, it’s time. His eyes closed in the darkness. He had to be sure that no one was awake and if they were, they weren’t in the way. His ear slightly twitched, listening for the slightest noises. Nothing. Only the sound of laughter coming from his parents “perfect“ he whispered threw his slightly opened lips as his eyes threw open, revealing the dim light there was. His hand slowly slipped threw the hole he made days ago. This was unnoticed by the boss due to the disguise it was given. Then, the cage lock was unhooked. He just had to push open the door which wouldn’t be easy. The cameras. He had to kill out the cameras. Luckily for him, he found the wires that make it possible for the cameras to work. His hand then swiftly moved to the back of the cage which there was another disguised hole. His long sharp finger nails sliced the wire several times to make sure that the cameras surrounding the room were goners. A smirk curled on to his before emotionless face. The door in front of him slowly moved forward until his slim body could get through. He slipped off the hair band around his wrist. He pulled it around his hair, double looping it then tightening it by gently tugging on the ends of his long locks of thick hair. He swiftly moved through the hallways without making a sound like he planned. He soon reached his parents room where he saw bright lights coming from under the crack of the door. He ran from the sides of his house to the front yard, completely leaving the lot, he took out a map and ran the direction towards the train station. “Grrr…” his stomach grumbled. He was hungry. It only made sense since he hadn’t eaten in about 3 days. “Better stop at someplace to eat” he whispered. He winced in pain as the girl pushed off from the ground, swinging her sword once more to cut a deep wound on the side of his middle stomach “damn...” he mumbled threw the moans of pain. “Now to finish you!” she screamed with a look of pure evil on her face before swing was put towards him, only to find it was dodged.
