Shounen Maid Kuuro-kun: Tenshi no Uta is truly just funny and cute. I was smiling pretty much the entire time that I was watching. It follows the story of Kuro who has to work as a maid in order to pay off his father’s debt. This underlying story isn’t terribly interesting, but it at least adds a little something to the OVA. On top of that the interaction between Kuro and his boss are really funny. Despite his delicate appearance Kuro is no pushover, which separates him from a lot of stereotypical characters in this situation. He doesn’t let his boss get away with much (“much” being relative.) The sex scenes are amusing and for the most part not to be taken too seriously. This whole OVA is not to be taken seriously honestly. It’s just a fun, easy-going, silly story that will put a smile on your face.
