Marjorie Haukea Williams Posted October 3, 2017 Share Posted October 3, 2017 My Heart for the Samurai What I require is love What I desire is the heavens sword in my hands swamped in blood the lives of my enemies help manifest its powers caked in a raw steel, topped off with a sharp finish the samurai sword is brutal when utilised the samurai is outstanding, when alone like the wolf mountains call his heart home and his home is yours and yours alone When the stars shine, so does your soul bright in all the right places the end of the world and you I just want to feel the sword once more cut me into ribbons spread throughout the galaxies and the lore told to my children's children my mind wavers for the samurai song the beating is consistent and logical of my swallowed up mind state I stare into the mist and come out a new being made whole again Just like my samurai and his sword so brutal, so technically sound without a sound, I hear its wrath on my strings of a violin forevermore Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Worn out from endless battles, Tired from being send off alone, I only need you to heal this poor samurai's wounds. My heart is pierced through, thorough and in sorrow. Not from a sword but by you. Come to me once more, This poor samurai shall await for you, where the blossom trees bloom and where the cicadas sing till noon. DREAMING The lonely days pass in a blur when I’m thinking about you The moment our eyes met everything else seemed to melt away There was only the sync of our hearts entwined on that fateful night What I wouldn’t give to have my samurai warrior again by my side. So I wake up every morning with this phantom pain that won’t go away The sky thunders to the drum of my heart whispering promises long lost in the mist The emerald in your eyes faded like snow in spring The future that we once dreamed of went up in smoke. I look up at the moon and send a kiss to you In that kiss I pour my love, dreams and promises unfulfilled With one last lonely tear I say good bye to yesterday And cradle you in my memory, from now on I’ll embrace the opportunities. The cause of this battle which was lost from the start? Or my life which was a lost cause since you went away. I am the headless samurai floating down this stream. In this eerie night, where does it take me, you ask? Is the dark knight carrying me to the land of the dead?
