juugatsuni Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 my most favorite game of all time is... "Ryu Ga Gotoku" a.k.a. "Yakuza" series: 1-5. with it's 3 spin-offs: Kenzan, Dead Souls & the latest available in both PS3/PS4; Ishin. i'm a picky bastard so it really depends on my liking; filtering games i'd like to collect and play throughout. i'm into: - brawling / beat 'em up / martial arts fighting - rhythm music tapping - life simulation (i mostly prefer The Sims 2) - racing - extreme sports - occasional retro games from PS1 - female-oriented visual novels - psychological drama (not focused on gore and terrifying jumpscare; morelike in shock value of emotions and fun plot twist mystery situations) though Yakuza series is a Role-Playing Game kind of genre, which i'm terrible at; the enough realistic approach made it fun for me to play and let me not confused. adding the fact that it mainly involving brawling, made it far more exciting to play. the sub stories are awesome, specially. they were entirely entertaining in a way i feel they're more than fun to follow than the main plot itself. but i must also say Yakuza's endings has had always made me tears. i used to play a similar game called "Beat Down: Fist of Vengeance" which was in PS2 console way back. having the fact that that there are few games that are alike with Yakuza, old and new; Yakuza best fit my tastes. i must thank 4PP (4 Player Podcast) for making me discover the game i'd support this much. // i apologize for the long post and excessive loading for the images
ukemextreme Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 personally, i'm usually into mind games and simulations. racing games are my type too as well as psychological stuff. so that makes these my favorite games: The Sims 3 (especially Night Life) otome games Need For Speed Rock Band Left 4 Dead Burnout Soul Calibur I've been wanting to play Amnesia for like years now but I still don't have the heart to scare the shit out of me. Please tell me it's actually safe to play this game. hahahh

Oh, and Crash Team Racing or any Crash Bandicoot games before the PS2...well, excluding Twinsanity. ...Fish? And Mafia on the computer. Finding all the glitches is fun! ~Megs
