As a Shinigami, he possesses more endurance than experience, which has led to him toppling the very same people who would scold him for his lack of skill. He is perhaps the most perverted character in the series, having oggled Orihime's chest and kissed Tatsuki on the cheek while in Ichigo's body, as well as try to use his cuteness to his advantage with Orihime and the other classmates of Ichigo. Most notably, he seems to be in love with Rukia, possibly due to the fact that both she and him live in Ichigo's cloest together for the while portion of the series. His actions and personality serve as comic relief for most of the story, and most of what he does cannot be considered serious, though his perverse actions often get him stomped on by Rukia.
