Ridd Posted March 7, 2012 Share Posted March 7, 2012 It was a beautiful midsummer night, and a beautiful flow of classical music was echoing in the dance hall. The whole mansion was shimmering with thousands of beautiful lights and decorations, and it looked just like a fairytale castle. There was at least three hundred people inside the mansion; Beautiful women dressed up in gorgeous dresses, giggling with their friends, and handsome, aristocratic men escorting their companions. Zero didn't like this at all. It was just one heck of a pretentious people for him. Everything was just too perfect, and it made him mad. "Hello there, handsome. You smell really good, vampirehunter-san~" Said a sexy, sensitive voice from his right side, and it made Zero a bit startled. He had gone into a dark corner on purpose, so that no-one would find him. Even if the other hunters, who had came along with him to keep an eye on the vampires, were enjoying their time here, Zero just couldn't do it. He was `standin on his toes´ too much in this mansion. He had been here just once before, but he could still remember this place, and the people in here pretty well. `Yuki...´ His best friend, little sister... Someone who had been taken away from him... by a pureblood vampire... Someone he couldn't go against to. Kaname. That name was making Zero's saliva feel like venom because of two reasons. That utterly handsome pureblood vampire was making Zero boil with hatred. Zero hated the perfect mask which Kaname was carrying, and he knew it was nothing else but a charade. It was all to just deceive the elders, and everyone else too. That man was the demonking himself in Zero's world. The other reason why the venom was gushing into Zero's mouth, was because Zero could still remember the taste and smell of the most delicious blood he had ever tasted. It made him go crazy even when there was 3 years from their last meeting. And Zero didn't intend to meet that pureblood again, ever. He was going to do everything he could just to avoid Kuran Kaname. Zero turned his head towards the beautiful, blond woman, and his face was stoic, expressionless. "Tsch. Could you please let go of my hand, vampire?" He asked, glaring the vampire who was smirking at him evilly. The woman didn't seem to be offended by Zero's words at all. She was just smirking. Zero remembered this woman from two weeks ago. He had been in an another party, keeping an eye on the vampires, and this woman had been there. They had chatted a bit, and then Zero had just left. Zero couldn't say that he liked this woman, but at least he didn't hate her. He still didn't want to be too close of them. After a while the woman had disappeared to somewhere, and Zero was alone again. Leaning to a pillar, and politely declining the dance offers he got from the young vampire girls. He was well aware that there was lot of women in the party, but he had no idea that the most of them were somewhere near him. He wasn't aware of his own looks at all. Even if the vampires were beautiful and handsome, and Zero wasn't fully a vampire, he still had something in him. Though things could go unnoticed wih how everyone was enjoying the party, she couldn't focus at all. She would nod at times when they were appropriate, and smile when needed, but she was not interested in any of the conversations that were around. After some time, she removed herself, and began to walk around the outside of the party, getting away from the large crowd of her peers. She sighed softly as she looked back at the crowd. Maybe there will be something different today. They are always the same every time. Just as she thought that, her glanced landed upon a man with silver-like hair. Could that be? I remember the school days when we all went to school together. Those were the days, she thought as she began to walk back in calmly. This is going to be a very interesting meet. As she walked in, she saw everyone seeming as if their conversations had become quite interesting. In the distance she saw Yuuki talking to some beautiful vampire women, Kaname talking with some handsome vampire men, and Zero was talking with.... Who is that talking to him? Ridd Posted March 8, 2012 Author Share Posted March 8, 2012 Zero nodded at Zapir politely, and flashed a quick smile, if it even could be called a smile. Zero wasn't smiling too much, ever. Actually there was no-one who could say they had seen him smile, or laugh, except for Yuki... And Yuki wasn't his anymore. Kaname had taken his best friend away from him. He couldn't reach Yuki anymore, and he didn't even want to anymore. He was going to survive on his on now. He wasn't going to rely on anyone ever again. That would just hurt, and he didn't want to get hurt. `How am I doing?... Bored to death, wanting to kill someone...´ "Not too happy." He answered, lightening his thoughts a bit. He brushed his silver hair once, running his fingers trough it, and ruffling it soon after that. He didn't feel too good about the party. He had an odd feeling that something was going to happen. Even though Zapir was half vampire, Zero still coulnd't hate him. Zapir had always been so honest and kind towards Zero, that Zero couldn't bring himself to hate the guy. Even though he didn't want to admit it, he had his soft side too, and his soft side actually thought about Zapir as a friend. Soon a girl appeared in front of them, and Zero blinked his eyes. He was sure that he knew this girl from somewhere. He had seen her before... "Victoria!" Zero managed to mutter from between his lips, being utterly confused. He hadn't seen this girl in a long time either, and he was amazed to see how much she had grown. Her face had gotten more beautiful, and his body was more woman-like. "I am much obliged to meet a friendly character like you, though I wonder how you would know my name," she a said. Indeed she didn't know how he knew her name, maybe zero might have said it, but that would be most unlikely. She returned her gaze back to who she was originally aiming to meet again. She thought for a moment about how he might be doing, but from what she could tell, ever since Kaname took Yuuki for his own, Zero hasn't smiled. The rumors did spread about Kaname and Yuuki being lovers, but they never act like it since they are siblings. Poor Zero.... Such a sad and tragic love story. "My, my, Zero, you seem very surprised to see me. I haven't seen you since we all part our ways." She knew that if she asked him to smile, he might become angry and deny to even try. Really? REALLY? She thought this as she hid the fact that she was completely disapproved this move. One would not want people to know that they are neither vampire, nor human, but both! I am not completely proud of being both, and not belonging to either, and yet he just says it that he's like me. What the heck! Silently, she gave that sly smile of hers, and spoke. "I would be much obliged in doing so, but I hope I don't trip while dancing," she said with a slight laugh. Though she had been to a party like this so many times, no one ever asks her to dance. She smiled slightly as she began to walk with Zapir back to the party. Once they arrived, they began to dance, but she always checked back her feet so she wouldn't trip on his feet or hers. The soothing feeling of being in someone's arms as they swayed from side to side. She hadn't noticed, at first, that Zapir had said something, but soon heard the words ring in her ears. You are very beautiful tonight, Victoria. Those words echoed in her ears as she looked away, trying to hide her blushing face. It's not like I will answer everything he says through those lips.... What the heck? She thought this as she continued dancing, thinking about how to answer the question. It is such an easy question, yet why did it seem so hard to answer? Her face still hid slightly from his view. "Why ask a question like that?" she said in a whisper. Why did I say that? No one ever wants to know about me! Seriously, ever since I was a child no one ever asked me a thing, well, besides Yuuki, Zero, and Kaname, but every else always seemed to stay away from me. I just wanted someone to talk to.... She thought as they continued dancing. "I am sorry, I didn't mean to answer your question that way. Please forgive me for my rude behavior." Is it me, or does it seem that everytime I dance with some one, this always seems to happen? No, this is different, completely different from the past, but ugh.... She thought. She soon steadied herself, and walked to the refreshments, where she picked up a glass of some kind of liquid to drink. She sigh, this is really good, but what is it exactly?
