uhm, hey whenever you're back, can I suggest something? If it's okay with you of course. Can we also play a game? Like Saga did in the Japanese section? Just to practice hangul and some basic words. :D

@nitta... Sorry, I don't used thoes word so I don't know much about it... --;;;

@xyuichan... well... it's hard to tell... if I could really get back to the lesson any time soon...

As I explain in other post...

This lesson require lot of typing and that is really make my arm and hand hurt a lot...

And this isn't the only thing I do...

So I still have other thing that keeping me getting better...

So it's hard to tell when I can back to lesson...

Also, I thought about game too...

And I did said it but only one person respost on that game so I didn't go for it...

The game I talk about is with out me any one who know just word can do...

But, I don't know how many people know so much word to play that game...

So I will try to think about game with out me around but still you can play with it...

Thanks :) I'll be waiting. :3 Don't push yourself. :D I'm a patient person, so I can wait. ^_^

Let your hand and arm heal first, and then if you're good to go, let's start.

Oh, btw,

how about this:

1.)neon naruel weonhae

2.)neon naege pp[bb]ajyeo

3.)neon naege michyeo

If it's possible, can you translate each word one by one?

'Cause for me,

Neon= You are/ You

Nareul= You or is it me? T.T

Naege= me

So, why do they use two "Yous" like Neon and Nareul is the same right?

In the 1st one, it would be "You, you are want me."[You want me] I mean, why use Nareul if there's already Neon and vice-versa?

and in the 3rd one it says:

"Neon naege michyeo" which means, "You are me crazy." in proper english it would be: "You are crazy over me."

is it correct?

did you get my question? 'cause I don't. T.T

First... well... 'neon(넌)' is short for of 'neo-neun(너는)'(you are)... so like English... it should said 'you're'

Let's go over with each one...

1) Neon(넌 You) na-ruel(나를 me) weon-hae(원해 want).

As you said 'You want me.' is right from this...

Even I said 'neon' mean 'you're' but here you just used 'neon' as 'you'

because there is 'want' there... so it will be wrong to used 'are' in it... ^^;;;

2) Neon(넌 You're) nae-ge(내게 for me) pp[bb]a-jyeo(빠져 falling).

From this it goes 'You're falling for me.'

I did explain about 'nae-ge' before it could be just me or to me...

But, also it could be mean 'for me' too...

How you use with other word change little bit...

3) Neon(넌 You're) nae-ge(내게 for me) mi-chyeo(미쳐 crazy).

This one mean... 'You're crazy for me.'

As I said up there 'nae-ge' from here change in to 'for me'...

But, you could use as what you said, 'You are crazy over me.'

When you translate you don't alway have to translate right...

Just could change little to make other to understand better what it mean.

Most translate now day don't do right translation...

They just go was what they think it mean...

But, I try to do as what it said there...

So sometime it's harder to understand...

So it's better to write what is mean but also what other you could use same time...

So people will have better understand on it...

I hope this is what you want to know... ^^;;

I will be busy next few days so I might be answer your question little late...

Please do undersand that... Thank you! ^^

err.. how about this?

I tried romanizing it from a raw manhwa..

From Hangul to Alphabet.

Sign: Yunungokyo Paesutibal

Translation: Yunungokyo Festival (or something T.T)...because I think Paesutibal is the Korean word for Festival.

Bubbles: Han Sae Bik!!

---> It's a name of a person.

Bubble: Sae Bik Sang!!

---> I'm not sure about this, but what does Sang mean?

6th Bubble: Nae~Ibeonsun so neun yoreobuni godaehasineun uli hagkyu jaelui pyeong mul!

---> ok, this is what I don't understand T.T While I was romanizing it from Hangul to Alphabet, I don't know if the words are still as one or not. Another thing is, I don't know if there's something there that I need to change the spelling... It was hard, and I was like: "What the fck am I doing?" T.T I'm sorry if you didn't understand the romanization.. It's just so hard.

@xyuichan... for the last part if you show me original it will be better...

I don't know what are you write there...

I try it but, it's hard to tell just by that...

For other...

First is right it is festival... but, it's more like open house at school...

You saw it in manhwa...

Second part also right... it's name...

The third part... 'sang' part... I also need to see the original to clear out...

It could be 'sang' in Japanese... or it could be other...

So this is far as I could help you for now...

Sorry...

Oh. Err.. I'm not going to let Hama translate this for scanlation group. I just asked him if my romanization from the manhwa I posted above is correct. It's just that, my romanization is wrong that's why he asked for the manhwa page and I showed it to him. But anyways, I sincerely apologize. I'm truly sorry.

Such thing can be asked in private,as you ask a friend. These sections are only to help with your study,not to your scanlation group. The purpose is not to help with manga,songs or video clips stuff. It's to help you improve your language and your grammar.

Hama.. I have a question.. it's more ..let's say cultural than language related but kinda....

I've seen that it's quite frequent to use the word "Park" before a feminine name, why is that? and also depending on who pronounces it..it has lik a "shi" ending...but not always.. why?

And thanks :)

I don't come in here much so I miss you post, sorry... --;;;

Well... I need to know where that come from...

First... "Park" is one of Last name used in Korea...

So it could be person last name but I have to clear up by knowing where you see or hear this...

And second one is it's more like "ssi" but it could sound like "shi"

I also need to clear up by knowing where it from...

But, my guess will be it's been use after name...

That mean is like Japanese people use 'san' in the end of name to show respect...

It's same way...

I hope this answer to your question...

If it's not let me know the source, so I could give you right answer... ^^

Hi Hama, thanks for replying, no need to apologize. My life didn't depend on it..loool....

So Park is like a surname? but why did I hear it just in feminine characters?

Oh the source? random kdramas, sometimes I've also hear names ending in "nui" that could be an abbreviattion of "unni"?

Well... I can't really clear about that... But, there isn't much other then last name for "Park"... --;;;

It's hard to tell you why on that... I don't watch drama at all... --;;;

For "Nui" is like older sister guys call... full will be "Nuna"...

But, they some time use "Nui"... ^^

And "Unni" is female call for older sister...
