And that's my attempt of translating this little drama episode:

 

Kagetora is talking to a dog that wandered to his fire:...

- And to topple all that madness, I feel the cold now even stronger; my wounds are aching much more and I can feel my body by far more clearly.

- Just like a mirage.

- And now my heart… must be only a mirage as well, mustn’t it?

- Forced to continue living after my death I’ve become more tired than I had thought I would.

- Enough… Strike down Uesugi Kagetora.

- I want to end everything. I don’t want the pain of Uesugi Kagetora anymore.

- I don’t want all that concerns Otate.

- I miss the people who have passed. I want to follow them quickly.

- How long it’s necessary to live to be able to end everything?

- Even when I’m clinging to the past life it seems to me that I was abandoned and I only feel loneliness.

- And there’s only pain in my heart.

- The memories of Otate and various people from Echigo are becoming vague and they will be forgotten eventually.

- Just like the name of Uesugi Kagetora.

- Dead people moves further away every day. They even forget that once there were wars in this world.

- Even the feelings with which we were fighting have been drowned into oblivion.

- Until this moment I’ve never known the sorrow of bygone people.

- It seems to me I understand the feelings of old vassals who cling to the inevitable death.

- However, for the boat named Otate such people became heavy burden and it… drowned.

- And that Echigo has drowned as well, hasn’t it?
