Yuri!!! on Stage" event which ended today, April 29 2017 (Saturday) announced that Yuri!! on ice is gonna have a movie!

 

It is not a re-compilation of the tv anime.

As for as I understood the Yuri on Stage event was a thing where the voice actors got together and played out skits or something like that? I think it was possibly going to be added to one of the bluerays.

Ooh, I'm so glad it's getting a continuation of some kind! I really enjoyed the anime and thought perhaps they should do a sequel but a movie is good too! Looking forward to news of its release date! Thanks for information!
