I have problems saving the picture i want to use for my profile. i have checked my general settings but "show user customization" is enabled. whenever i want to save the picture it says that my settings have been updated but the backround just turns transperent. i was wondering if anybody noticed that too or if erverything works as it should? thanks for your help in advance :-) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Saga Posted January 7, 2017 Share Posted January 7, 2017 Hello. As far as I understood, once you set the picture and you try to save it, the background turns transparent? 1. Is that your first time setting up a profile? - If yes, please do read the guides for proper usage: Please Register/ Sign In, in order to see the links. . 2. Have you saved the profile and once it said is updated, have you tried refreshing the page? - If not, please set all how you want it to be and save. Once it is updated, refresh the page. 3. What method of 'setting a picture' do you use? - If by link, make sure the link is not protected against 'copy/paste' on other sites; save it to your PC and upload it on a proper image sharing host. - If you use by storage/album, make sure you meet the size and all. 4. How huge is the picture? - Sometimes when the picture is too heavy and your connection is too slow, the picture won't load for you. That's what I can help with, with the provided information above. batista Posted January 7, 2017 Author Share Posted January 7, 2017 It is my first time... I got tired of my plain profile so I wanted to change it a bit. I tried refreshing the page after saving the image before I posted this thread but I will take a look because of the URL... It could be the size although I tried out different pictures with different sizes... I'll reply again to say if one of the options worked out and if not I'll upload a few print screens. batista Posted January 14, 2018 Author Share Posted January 14, 2018 And here I am again with a other problem... I can‘t upload my background picture for months now T_T I really tried everything... I used the right link... I checked on the file size... I used all my browsers... My problem is that I can upload the picture and when I save it in my profile settings you would think every thing is set, but as soon as i refresh the page the setting for the background picture is gone and I have the grey plain background even after logging out and changing my settings, after the refresh or log out the background settings won‘t stay.
