YaoiOtaku decided to open a thread for people who love music and love to write poems, or simply song lyrics. Giving the chance to show your feelings about the current theme and in general, how do you interpret it, we have picked a certain song. Based on its melody, you have to write down either a poem or a song lyrics. Of course, it's up to you how you name it, as long as you mention once "Winter Cicada" in the content. RULES ** Post only on poem/ song lyrics text. ** No vulgar words, no racism, no religious, no political, and no child/ animal abuse themes. ** Minimum 3 paragraphs, maximum 8 paragraphs. ** Do not use the name of the song we give you as a title to your poem/ song lyrics. ** The theme of your masterpiece can be about anything, depends on what feelings you get when you listen to the melody. It's instrumental. ** Post the final result on this thread. ** Read the rules again, just in case. PRIZES Each user that applies to "Music Box" contest will get 2,000 points. Airhead looking up to nothing but blue Eyes slowly skips a blink amazed on the view A sudden drop falls again from the soul's window Stops the thoughts, you no longer have a clue Only one could verify, would determine The one who made, created it's own dream Nobody sees the built world and none will Because nobody tries.. not anyone still Seen a winter cicada coping up with the cold white Senses try to catch up with the cold domain Songs of simple melody but hard to sing Harder when not one wants to listen. Wish I could turn back time, to when this was not in the ground. Always here, always will be without fear, did you know that you were always a hero? but where are you now? Did you know that you made my story into a work of Miro's? Cast away into the shadows, darkest of the night, like a Winter Cicada, serves as the brightest light. but still where are you now? They were jealous and they took you away, but do you remember how everything that was said, was supposed to amend? But instead it took it all to an abrupt end. Can I ask, where are you now? I know that they are the ones to blame, but to you everything that was wrong is in my name, nothing I could do now that you are gone. My heart raced thumping through my chest, like the winter cicada in a hot summer night. Our love flourished that summer and was latent all year round. In the chilling nights when you miss my warmth look up at the sky, the same moon with its twinkling stars, will shine down on us connecting our hearts. The ups and downs of this spiraling love we'll have to take with us to strengthen our bond. In the meantime I will treasure our memories of that summer ago.
