I think Kou's brother wasn't killed but now when Death can't reap, Samael goes to replace him. Maybe before Death was born Samael was the reaper? O____o Because he mentions that Kou's brother died of natural death in Please Register/ Sign In, in order to see the links. - I said to not force it.
