kmontsy Posted February 23, 2016 Posted February 23, 2016 I am just trying to hold onto this thought " season 2 hasn't started yet, and season 1 has to end at the ep 15, and for sure CJD and her team would do something to push the season 2, the actors are gaining popularity and im sure CJD couldn't also afford to lose their momentum, her novel is now known not only to the yaio community but to those who believe that Love knows no gender thing, and shes also aware that ADDICTED is her most popular project so far, so she may consider the idea of some Fans may lost their interest and she would do something concrete about this matter... damn! im still having the sane to think up straight and less worry.. (but is still worry haha) but surprisingly, the supposedly 3 more episodes should be telecasted in about 9days, but they just released them all at once, its confusing... they were too generous if its like a gift for the fans... but we have to accept the fact that there will be no more Addicted to look forward to everyday, we just have to re-watch all the entire episodes... until season 2 comes in... i dont know when.. but im willing to wait...even if it takes forever hahaah

They mention that the suggestion of the Taiwan's fans to come to Taiwan and shoot second season there caught the crew's attention. There's still hope. They also wrote in the article that CJD confirmed that the second season could come next year with the same cast. (I hope it is a reliable source.)

Well, to be honest, I found it strange that they need one year to release the second season (if they will at all). This first season was produced in, what, three months, right? That took into consideration on the new actors etc; with their current experiences, the production should be faster than the first season, not longer.

Based on the novel, Addicted stories should be taking place in Winter time, that's why. But from what I know, due to the prior experience in filming Addicted during Winter, they are suffering from the cold temperature. So they are planning to begin the filming for Addicted S2 in May actually (this is the news before all the mess). But still, everything is not confirmed yet.

I was wondering though, how cold is winter in China? Because the actors only used thin school jacket uniform and pants, and at home they also only used jumper (and even sleep in shirt!) without heater (at least in Yin Zi's house; Gu Hai's is much better house). If I do that here, I will caught cold daily, LOL!

Im glad we got the episodes and yes lots of cut scenes but we can all find the bts scenes for those until the full episodes are released. My thoughts, i love that GuHai is the pushy, jealous and over protective type. He fits perfectly with Bai Louyins stubbornness. All their interactions are so cute and i find that Louyin smiles a lot more towards GuHai and is a lot warmer to him in these episodes. Wifey mode is on guys!!!!! So many cockblocks in these episodes... First yangmeng , then guhais cousin, then louyins mom ... Like gtfo woman the boys just want to rub hot bodies together! And lastly Louyins exgirlfriend! Tbh u get more of a threat from her than Guhai's lulu. She feels like she would cling to Louyin and try to charm everyone around her (she is the enemy!!!) As soon as we saw her standing at the door.. All i thought is girrrrlll you are going to die, GuHai is literally going to shave your head and murder you. And as soon as she sat down, i thought ... Well you just sealed your fate. Really hoping for season 2 with the same cast, this show is too good to end with just 1 season. Like DjKhaled says "They dont want you to succeed!" Hope you guys all stay safe and healthy! And lets meet again for season 2!!! Hehe stay positive and also looking forward to seeing the gifs and vids you guys post :Excited::In love::Sleepy:

I sent Johnny a message on IG. I have no idea if he'll be able to understand it but I wanted to share it with you guys because it explains exactly how I feel about this series: Hi Johnny, Just a message of support from an international fan. You're the only one from the cast and crew I can reach so I hope you can let everyone know how much we love and support your show. As a happily married gay man (married to a guy) I love how this show supports acceptance of gay people as real human beings who love and suffer just like everyone else. I have had my share of doing crazy things for love so I totally understand Gu Hai's obsession. At the same time I can see a deep and real love between the characters that is very heartwarming. Gu Hai reminds me very much of my husband and I am a lot like Bai Lu Yin. I want to let you guys know that your international fans will support you 100% in continuing filming of the novel. We will buy the DVDs, we will even help support you financially through donations if that is possible. We all want to see the happy ending at the end of the novel! We do hope the cast and crew stays the same. Chai Jidan is amazing and her vision really helps the show stay true to the novel. You and Wei Zhou are perfect together too. One more thing - I am a Filipino fan and we ourselves have to deal with homophobia. We have an internationally renowned boxer (Manny Pacquiao) who just said gay people are "worse than animals." He is running for senator and will probably win. At first I thought this was mainly a religious issue but I guess it is more about those in power wanting control over their citizens. My husband and I got married in South Africa and we're hoping to build a life together in the states where we will be accepted and legally recognized. But we still hope that eventually the whole world will be more accepting of us as human beings. This really starts with changing the hearts and minds of regular people, which is why your show is so important. Lastly, I had the chance to visit Beijing once in the winter and it was very beautiful. But I have never wanted to learn Mandarin Chinese until now because of your show. I want to understand everything firsthand and I want to finally be able to read Chai Jidan's novel! All the best

Subscribing to the official YT channel since that's the new platform that they use now for the remaining episodes. (You'll find the link to their official YT channel in prev posts.) 2. Watching, liking AND commenting on the Addicted episodes on their official YT channel. This is so that they can generate revenue from audience engagement. 3. DO NOT skip the ads when you watch the episodes on their official YT channel. That's where most of the revenue comes from. 4. Post words of encouragement for the actors, the whole team, most importantly the PRODUCERS in all platforms that they use -- YouTube, Weibo, FB, etc. It would be best if we do this on their official channels. The team behind Addicted reads the comments on all the platforms. Our posts will let them know how popular the series is and will encourage them not to give up on Season 2. It will also let the producers know that Season 2 is WORTH making if they see that the series is more popular that they expected. 5. I'm a bit hesitant about the Kickstarter campaign but if someone can pull that off, please go ahead. My only suggestion is to coordinate with the producers or the official Addicted team. This is to ensure that all the proceeds will go to what they were intended for. A lot of people will donate if there's an OFFICIAL announcement from the official Addicted team about the campaign. Lastly, don't spread rumors. Rumors can only create a negative impact and complicate an already critical situation the series is currently in. Let's all hope for the best.
