First, you need to put your whole paycheck, just to get a date for your theory test. So, I don't even need to mention how happy one gets when they pass. Then....your despair starts. A MINIMUM of 20 hours (x 50€) to even get a date for your practical test... And if you are really good at it (which we are not of course), then you will be one of those rarest that actually gets a date after just 20 hours....Or, if you are a "normal" person, like the rest of us, you are expected to give away your money, like giving breads to the pigeons. So, why after all that, is it still so damn HARD to get an okay by the examinator ? What the guy says is absolute...If he is in a bad mood, then you can say bye bye to your test. I wouldn't mind tbh, if the system would not be talking a single penny from us. Why is it that I only hear more stories about people passing after their 30th time, in Paris ? Ooooo...I almost forgot to mention ! If you fail after your 5th attempt, you will be the lucky person to have to start ALL over again (even the theory test) ..... Bye bye 1 500€ ! I just threw you out of the gutter :/ Sorry for my rant....I'm just appalled by the fact that we get happy, because we get to keep the rest of the money, more than actually having the licence, but also by people who can't just be cool man. The gap between the countryside success rate & the city's one is a real shame, yet, sadly, quite normal. 77% VS 51% which means that barely half of the people taking lessons will pass the exam in city whereas ~3/4 will succeed in rural areas. The only solution, which isn't convenient if you live close to the capital, is to get your license in a rural area. Examiners are more relaxed than urban ones. But on the other hand, someone used to driving in the countryside or small cities will be quite anxious when driving in Paris, cause we all know that Parisians are real d*cks when driving x) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
