Information || This month's theme shall be "C'est la vie". YaoiOtaku decided to open a thread for people who love music and love to write poems, or simply song lyrics. Giving the chance to show your feelings about the current theme and in general, how do you interpret it, we have picked a certain song. Based on its melody, you have to write down either a poem or a song lyrics. Of course, it's up to you how you name it, as long as you mention once "C'est la vie" in the content. Rules || ‖ Post only on poem/ song lyrics text. ‖ No vulgar words, no racism, no religious, no political, and no child/ animal abuse themes. ‖ Minimum 3 paragraphs, maximum 8 paragraphs. ‖ Do not use the name of the song we give you as a title to your poem/ song lyrics. ‖ The theme of your masterpiece can be about anything, depends on what feelings you get when you listen to the melody. It's instrumental. ‖ Post the final result on this thread. ‖ Read the rules again, just in case. Prizes || ‖ Each user that applies to "Music Box" contest will get 2,000 points. ‖ The winner will get 5,000 points+ 1 manga cover card. He has lost his eye sight. He cannot hear. His hands tremble. His legs shake. He is lost. He tried to get up. He falls back down. Everything feels so hard to do. He stares ahead. Looking but not seeing. He starts chocking. He cannot breathe. He wants to die. He is running. Across the field. The sun falls on his face. The birds sing above. The meadow is bright. It's full of light. His legs are fine. He runs like the wind. Towards her. The world stops for a moment. He holds her tight. She reaches out to touch him. He closes his eyes. He knows "C'est la vie". He wants time to freeze. He opens his eyes. She's gone. Again he is running. Towards the unknown. Space and time have no boundaries. He runs faster. His legs give way. The light beckons him. He stretches out towards it. It disappears. He screams. Despair fills his mind. His heart is ripped in two. His body breaks. He wants the light. He wants it to consume him. He tries to fight the darkness. But he is engulfed. It swallows him completely. He has nowhere to run. He stands still. Alone in the dark, Only his mind works. He thinks happy thoughts. He remembers the time in the meadow. He remembers her. He is filled with renewed energy. He fights the darkness. The light falls through. She drives the darkness away. But only in his memories. vyssini Posted May 25, 2015 Share Posted May 25, 2015 NO ESCAPE though i know of your betrayal that your promises are farcical and my delusion is most comical my heart awaits your arrival so i become resolute with my goals and i try hard to clear my thoughts your face may resurfaced in my mind but kept your name where it's hard to find i spent so many years just to forget and some more years trying to forgive when i almost buried the memory i finally started to walk with dignity it's hard to put away your enticement yet i let my guard down for a moment with just your presence i knew i lost with single smile, all come to naught as heat rises to my head my breath becomes rugged thudding of my heart gets louder i can only kneel down as i shiver the gravity keeps me here it is the thread that binds me the chain not so easy to break it pulled me down yet again "C'est la vie"; "C'est la vie" without him, i am nothing because this devil is my everything how i knew it from the very beginning! In the tranquil storm, there are many things that misinforms, In a blink of an eye, c'est la vie, it can shatter, that’s life, a proof, and that’s what we exist by.
