YaoiOtaku decided to open a thread for people that love music and love to write poems, or simply song lyrics. Giving chance to show your feelings about the current theme and in general - how do you interpret it. We have picked a certain song, based on its melody you have to write down either a poem or a song lyrics. Of course,it's up to you how you name it,as long as you mention once 'Pandora Dreams' in the content. ❆❆ Rules [*=left] Post only one poem/song lyrics text. [*=left] No vulgar words, no racism, no religious, no political and no child/animal abuse themes. [*=left] Minimum 4 paragraphs, maximum 8 paragraphs. [*=left] Do not use the name of the song we give you as a title to your poem/song lyrics. [*=left] The theme of your masterpiece can be about anything,depends on what feelings you get when you listen to the melody. It's instrumental. [*=left] Post the final result on this thread. I was then entering into my delusion, A Dream where my curiosity prevails. I saw you simpered at me, And then all the wildest fears flee. I was in an Oblivion, a bliss, unknown oblivion. But then you were there, so nothing else mattered. I then opened my eyes and woke up. The stars shone, their light reflected to me. I knew then that dreams are like Pandora's box. Open and enter it with eager curiosity, and then in the end, I am the one who will be sad. To fall in a deep slumber with wonderful phantasms Is a huge gamble. And how should we see it? What is the meaning of things uncompleted? What are emotions? And how void is my voice? -1:27- Can you hear our echos? Is there fear in choices? In truth what are we told? Once it was open all the evil things were set free but the hope was left inside the box. (or so i read ^^'' ) What i pictured was a person as the box. If we are opened, then all the bad things (including dreams) are gone and we keep the hope of a better day and our minds clean from the things others try to impose on us. what i used to open that box was Love. (as in friend, family or lover) anyway, i hope you enjoy it! PS: i suggest to start reading only after 0:10. i think it has more impact that way. Awakening The weight of expectations on my shoulders, The words of the others stuck on my mind, The ways of society pulling me down, Forging these chains to keep me from leaving. My entity is gone, I lost track of myself. My freedom was taken from me The moment I was born into this dark and suffocating hell. But you gave me your hand, Your warmth made me fly, You broke free from that prison People like to call normality, Just to save my wandering soul And teach me the ways of freedom. The Pandora was open, The dreams imposed on me flew away. Now I clearly see the sun rising And the hope of a new world shinnying. All the new dreams I want for myself, Running alongside the happiness you gave me. The little box on my mind opened at once, Setting me free from the old predefined norms, Clearing away all those stereotyped thoughts, Awakening my heart to the wonders of singularity.
