26 episodes should be enough in this case I guess. Now I hope that the anime wouldn't catch up with the manga before the manga ends, if not we will have to wait for an extra long time....

I have also Akashi for Kuroko from time to time cause their body size and art are basically the same, the only difference is Akashi has two different colored eyes while Kuroko has eyes of the same color...

 

Regarding Akashi's weird skill....

I think he just disrupt their balance by spotting the weakness in their stand through his Emperor's eye and then they all fall down... At least that's what I think, it sounds perfectly sensible so I am believing in that theory of mine for the time being. ^.^

I also want to see Akashi and Kuroko go into The Zone. O.o

I mean like seeing Kuroko enter The Zone would be awesome as maybe his phantom presence will be like a real ghost? I don't know but that sounds awfully fun!! ^.^

My guess is that Akashi will enter The Zone and then knock Kagami down but then Kuroko will go into The Zone and then Kagami will be brought back to the Zone and then Seirin win!!!

Of course, this is just a guess of mine so is not necessary correct and if Kuroko never went into the Zone and still win then I would have to say...

It would be awesome if Kagami had another ability besides his jumping, but I don't know what that could be though.

I don't watch much basketball either, but some people I know do, they like Kurobas too and pointed out a lot of stuff to me. Also some manga translators made notes about it. XD

AHAHA lol at first, I did have a hard time choosing since their skills were oozing with epicness. Yeah kuroko's the guy--so calm, nice and mysterious.

 

I guess it's Ganguro Ahomine for me. I was captivated by his skills in the manga and almost dropped my goddamn jaws when I saw it on an animation. So yeah, minechin for me.

Oh yeah, in terms of epic abilities, Aomine is epic! Although...Kise's perfect copy makes him a really dangerous opponent.

 

And we haven't even seen Kise in the zone, yet. Right? And during his last match he was injured as well. If we see him at his full health and enter the zone...that'd be pretty epic. He's basically all the GoM in one. His weakness would be the time limit of the copy skills...but if he overcame that or extended it...he'd be really challenging to beat.

 

Then again...Kagami didn't go into the zone in that match either...so we still haven't seen Kise vs Kagami at their best.

 

 

But also, I can't wait to see more of Akashi's abilities.

Nah. Though Kise can probably do the perfect copy for everyone in the GoM. He can't contain such power due to his physical limits. It's been said that GoM had potential power stored within each one of them yet their young bodies prevented them to do greater things. So I bet everyone's gonna do training and voila* let's see who's the strongest.

 

I go with this rank for the strongest...

I actually believe that Akashi can see any shift of movement before it is committed. Back then when I was at volleyball team, as a captain of the team, my trainer told me how to figure out where the ball will go (that old geezer had his tricks). It is according to the body stance and mainly the legs/feet. Accurate for right-handed people. If the player was left-handed, you had to mirror the move. I know basketball is different from volleyball, but let's look at the similarities.... both are played with ball. XD! If one can predict the course of the ball in volley, I believe same can be done in basket. Stating it this way, it's pretty normal for Akashi to disturb either the ball's course or the stance of a player. It's not a supernatural anime after all. So...seems legit.

 

Then again, I believe I saw Kagami training his left hand, if he can switch in between them during the movement - it might confuse Akashi. Yet,another thing.... Kuroko has not only the lack of presence which truly makes him like an invisible wall, but Aomine learned Kuroko how to shift the movements taught in basketball books. So basically, Kuroko makes hybrids. That's something which can fuck up Akashi. If it is a movement he never seen before, a new hybrid and stuff.... I don't see how he can predict it. Unless he enters his zone. But if he enters his zone.... this means that Kuroko has to enter his zone. I mean, it's pretty normal for Kise to not enter his zone. After all he copies the awesome sh*ts of all prodigies (even during when the game is played,dude!). This is simply enough to beat the brain out of you. I can't see what he will do if he enters the zone. He will copy....God? XD!

Mostly to happen,to make up a new move of his, a move that is hybrid of all prodigies he has seen (but then again, in the far future; right now his leg is at his limit?)

However, I haven't seen Midorima in his zone too, but isn't a shooter odd to be in a zone. He shoots perfectly anyway. So nothing more for him to find in the zone. He is a monster without it, like Kise.

I believe that Kuroko, indeed, might not enter his zone but yet beat them all, for the series to be called 'Kuroko's Basketball'.

I agree with all you said about how Akashi can be beat. I didn't play any sports that seriously like you did, but I have trained in predicting movement, though it was animals, mostly horses. Predict the way a horse moves and you can save your own life if you have to, and even stop a charging horse right in its tracks (I have done it). Or make the horse change course. Funnily enough, you can use the same movements to stop humans, and most other animals. It's like an universal language. So Akashi being able to stop and manipulate their movements is possible in real life too. I can only imagine what kind of powers he would have in the zone.
