Fredric was quick out in the kitchen and came back to the quiet room and hesitated on the doorstep for a second when no one said anything. "I'm back..." he said as he walked up beside the bed again, mostly to break the silence and then reached out the glass of water and the painkiller towards Kyo to give him the chance to take it himself if he had the strength to do it.

All Fredic could think of was to patch up Kyo. He really couldn't read the atmosphere in the room, on that point he was as dull as his trust for strangers was strong.

Buster on the other hand found himself really interested in Glen and since no one said anything, or did anything to notice him he took the matter in his own paws and walked up really close to Glean and leaned against the man's leg. Inviting him to pet him. Buster knew that this man knew how to pet a dog, Glen had showed him that earlier.

Glen did notice Fredric when he returned to the room. His gaze was still locked with Kyo's, as both attempted to search the other with their eyes. While Kyo was assessing threat and trust, it was not clear what Glen was trying to do, staring so intently at this injured man with such serious concentration. After all, he was the one who came to the quick conclusion that Kyo was beaten up as a result of marijuana, one way or another. That idea seemed to not be the lead reason in his mind, for now.

The eye-battle was broken by Glen when Fredric came close to the bed, and uttered the words, "I'm back...". He promptly turned his head away, and attended to Buster, who was leaning against his leg. The attention, though, was not a replacement for what he lost, but a sincere attention filled with care and compassion. Glen pat Buster's head, and then knelt down and began to scratch Buster behind his ears. A watching spectator would have thought that nothing happened earlier.

As Fredric walked back into the room Kyo saw Glen kneel down to pet the dog, it was at this point his eyes left the man, but not before he started wondering, was there darkness in his past similar to Kyo's or had he had a happy childhood. His eyes wandered over to Fredric thinking the same. He wanted to know, but couldn't bring it up, it was not a conversation he could start.

What was he thinking, if he could've down s discretely and painlessly he would have shaken his head to clear it. This train of thought involved him staying here for an extended length of time and he had only come by to be patched up, though if this kindness was genuine it would probably be until he had recovered.

Fredric was offering him painkillers and water, he managed to reach up and take hold of them, forcing his arms to move and place the painkiller in his mouth then use the water to swallow it. The bruises were hurting and probably covered most of his sides and stomach, but they would heal quickly and the sooner they healed the sooner he could run again.

Fredric gave Kyo a smile when the other took the pills. He was relived that the other managed that task. He then took away the glass from him and said: "You'll see that you should feel a little better in about twenty minutes or so." Fredric stood up and turned his gaze to Glen and Buster. That dog just loves attention... he thought as walked over to the cabinets in the room and opened one of the cabinet's door. He pulled out one big towel and a lot small ones - depending on how strong Kyo would feel in a while when the painkillers should kick in. If he would be able to take a shower on his own or if he would need help.

He put down the towels on the bed beside Kyo before he went for a search in next cabin. This time he pulled out some clothes that he believed would fit Kyo. He didn't have many clothes that were smaller then he could fit, but these sweatpants had some string that could be used to keep the pants up if needed. And the shirt size didn't really matter right now.

He turned around to them both and closed the cabin right in front of the red cat Giggis nose. The cat looked up on his owner with a sad look before she went in under the bed instead. Fredic didn't seem to care about that counter but was more involved with the thought of the next step.

Buster was happy to be petted and did his best he could to lick the neatly dressed man in his face, turning around and wagging his tail - just as any normal happy dog would do when given a bit of attention.

As Fredric went from bed to cabin then back to bed, busying with the preparation to treat Kyo's wounds, Glen's eyes periodically followed the occupied man, and occasionally at the injured man on the bed, while still ruffling Buster's fur. To him, Kyo seemed to be perpetually thinking hard about something; maybe he was thinking about everything that happened, in the fight, in the house, and in the past. Was Fredric his care taker throughout his lifetime? Glen thought that Kyo's interactions with Fredric was rather odd, considering their friendship; maybe it was that sort of awkward friendship, but maybe it was not.

He took his mind off what he considered to be somewhat trivial questions for the present occasion, and went to watch Kyo sitting on the bed against the wall in pain. But it was very brief. He glanced over at Fredric, and it occurred to him that Fredric seemed to know what he was doing with the medications, and examinations, and treatments.

"Are you a doctor, Fredric?" enquired the curious Glen.

Kyo's gaze moved straight beck to Glen WHAT!!! Kyo froze solid not even moving his eyes to see what Fredric was doing. He hadn't even considered that the stranger could be a doctor.... another betrayal, this is why he shouldn't trust people. Doctors were the kind of people who would send you back, heal you then send you back saying, aren't you glad to be home. Doctors had allowed him to go back the first time then the second they made him go back. He hoped and prayed that Fredric wasn't a doctor, otherwise he was leaving the second he could walk both quietly and quickly.

He waited for Fredric's answer while watching GLen and the dog, he could do nothing else and nothing to stop the panic and fear rising in his eyes and showing slightly on his face.

Fredric out down the things on the bed beside the other he already put there and looked at Glen with a smile. "Not a doctor for humans, I'm a vetenary (animal doctor x))" he answered and turned to Kyo. "I'm sorry if I'm not as good as one, but humans are animals too." And finished his answer whit an other smile for Kyo.

"But enough about that, how are you feeling at the moment?" Fredric asked Kyo while Buster did his best to keep Glen's attention for himself.

Glen noticed Kyo's sudden eye movement towards him, which was followed by a rigid body posture. His hands were still attending to Buster, but his eyes were watching the frozen man, whose mind were on a journey somewhere only known to himself. But it was no sooner that the content of the journey was partly revealed in Kyo's face. Glen caught a slight glimmer of panic and fear in Kyo's eyes, and he quickly registered that little information in a tiny compartment in his brain labelled "Kyo".

The sound of the items knocking into each other when they were placed on the bed by Fredric took Glen's attention away from the frozen Kyo to Fredric, whom at that moment turned to him with a smile and told him that he was a veterinary. He nodded at Fredric in acknowledgement, and turned his attention back to Kyo as Fredric did the same.

He continued to watch Kyo as Fredric interacted with the man in bed.

A Veterinary, animals.... that would be safe right? Kyo loosened slightly, his panic only reduced a little, he was sure that Fredric wouldn't be able to go into work and pull his name up on a system but he didn't know if Fredric would have the same.... moral compunctions that he doctors from the past claimed to have. It was only after he had stopped panicking that he noticed Glen had been watching him the whole time, then he saw Fredric's smile and heard his question.

How was he? Good question. he aching had reduced a bit, probably due to the anti-inflammatory effect of the pain-killers, pretty sure he still couldn't walk though, well not without collapsing after two steps. He moved his mouth around experimentally. Not too much pain, good. "Better, but still feel crap" His response was quiet but there and with both of them watching him he was certain they would have heard.

"Well... It's better then nothing." Fredric said as he grabbed the smaller towels from the bed and walked around ut to stop by Glen and Buster while reaching out the towels to them. "I'll just run over to the bathroom in the hallway and grab a bucket of water and some soap so that we can clean up Kyo." He said as he turned his gaze towards Kyo on the bed.

Buster looked at his owner as if he was interrupting something very important. Fredric himself didn't seem to care about Buster's look before he once again left the room for any form of water.

The towels fell in Glen's hand like a boulder. Did he say we? His body was stiff and lifeless like a rock, and the blood in his body was frozen like water in a pipe on the coldest night of winter. Did he say we? The questions whirled in his head once, twice, thrice, clockwise, anticlockwise, once, twice, clockwise, once, anticlockwise, once, We?, once, twice, clockwise, We?, We?, anticlockwise, We?, twice, thrice, We?, We?, We?.

He was staring into space, which began to spin like a whirlpool. Spin, spin, spin. Faster, faster, faster. Fredric's departure from the room, and Buster's reaction, and Kyo's presence were unnoticed by the man with a boulder in his hand.

How could he clean up Kyo?

Kyo watched Fredric leave the room to get some soap and water, then moved his gaze back to Glen, surprised to find the man frozen solid with a look that seemed a mixture of surprise and incredulity. The dog beside him was looking between the humans in the room, however Kyo paid the dog little mind, focusing of Glen himself. The man's face appeared to be going ever so slightly pale and Kyo couldn't think why, all that had been mentioned was Fredric talking about getting him cleaned up.

When he didn't snap out of the reverie Kyo actually started to worry that something was very wrong and even thought to venture a question. "um.... Glen... are you okay?" The question was quite but there and Kyo glanced nervously towards the door hoping Fredric, who seemed to be more capable with dealing with people, would return soon.

Fredric turned around in his own bathroom in a try to remember where he had put the bucket he used to have in there. With a confused scratching in his hair he tried the cleaningcabin in the kitchen instead, without much success on that field.

Buster looked up on Glen with his head tilted in a confused look. Even if he only was a dog he could see that Glen didn't seem to think straight. With a careful poke with his paw he tried to get Glen's attention before the man in the bed did it. Right now Kyo was an attention thief in Buster's eyes.

Although Kyo's voice was barely audible, his ears picked up the words, in particular his name; his name, in that voice, that tone, that pitch. It rang in his ears, and knocked him like a hammer, shattering every vein until all that was left is a pool of cool water.

There was the sound of bustling from the bathroom, and a soft sensation on his arm, like a dog's paw, but his brain only perceived his name in that voice. He was no longer frozen, but he was still pale as ever. Focus had returned to his grey eyes, and they slowly trailed their way to where the voice came from.

"Yes..." his voice was soft but full, and his eyes seemed to have gained a glow of interest.

Glen stood up. His hand brushed lightly against poor Buster as he moved close to the bed where Kyo was, and stopped right next to him. He bent forward, his face positioned just inches away from Kyo's.

"Won't you speak again?"

Watching Glen it seemed as though he had returned to himself when his eyes turned towards Kyo. The tone of voice for the single word, and the gleam in Glen's eyes as he watched Kyo sent a shiver straight down his spine. Completely ignoring all other movements and sounds in the room he kept his eyes trained on Glen as the man stood and walked towards him. His breath caught briefly in his throat when he found Glen's face so close to his own. What is this.... He didn't know why but he couldn't look or move away even though every part of his mind screamed at him to get away, to not get attached to anything or anyone.

"Won't you speak again?" the words said directly in front of him made their way into his mind and he went to respond as a reflex before he could comprehend what he was saying.

"...so ..Close.." came the whispered words, followed by a slightly louder, more thought out string of words. "You are okay? ... good." a pause followed this while he tried to understand what was happening amidst the turmoil within. "Why do you want to hear me speak?"

Fredric didn't have the luck on his side with the bucket. As he tried to remember where he last used it Champ started to follow him around in his search for it. He believed that Glen and Kyo could manage on their own just a minute more as he turned up side down on the bigger things in his bathroom while mumbeling about evil buckets.

Buster watched as Glen got up and with a sigh he knew that he was beaten in the war for Glen's attention with Kyo. With a slow walk he left the room to see what his master was doing. It sounded strange, as if he was redecorating.

The colour had returned to Glen's face as he stood there with his face positioned way too close for Kyo's comfort. He seemed to be too focused on his newly found object of great interest that he did not notice Buster's departure, or Fredric's act of turning his house upside down just for a bucket.

As the string of words flowed out of Kyo's lips in an increasing volume, a grin began to creep up Glen's face, and a brighter light began to shine in his eyes. The now-bright grey eyes were fixed on Kyo's, yet his gaze was at every part of Kyo; every crease and fold, and gaps and spaces. It was almost as if he was turning Kyo end for end with his eyes.

"Very sweet..." Glen licked his lips lightly, "...your voice...it's melodious..."

He continued to inspect Kyo with those bright eyes, watching for every twitch of the muscle, and every flicker in the eyes, and every trickle of sweat, or blood, or tears, anything. So intent was his gaze that an observer would regard it as a harassment. It probably was.

The grin was still fixed, and the eyes still shining, when Glen asked, "Won't you sing for me?"

His breath caught again, for longer this time and he almost choked on his words as his mouth moved open and closed with no sounds coming out. The compliment, was it a compliment he wondered, seemed so strange to him. His back was already against the wall and Glen showed no signs of moving his face away, so when Glen asked him so sing all he could do was stare at the man as though he was insane.

"s-s-s-s-ssing!??!" he managed to stutter out. Not even sure if he could sing, before that he didn't even know any songs to sing. "B-but i can't s-sing, I er..." he trailed off as he got caught up in watching Glen's eyes. He was sure it didn't take that long or that much noise to find a bucket as his eyes flickered to the door, but they were quickly drawn back to Glen. The grin was starting to worry him, as was the sudden interest in him, wasn't it this man who not long before had been worried he'd been doing illegal things.

Fredric had looked in the bathroom and in the kitchen without success. Instead he had but Champ and Buster tailing him. With a sigh he turned to them both and looked down on them.

"Buster, the blue bucket!" He tried but didn't get any other reaction then that Buster tilted his head. Champ on the other hand did nothing.

With an other sigh he turned his attention to the living room instead. And the first thing he saw in the window was the bucket. "Sucsess!" He said out loud and once again went back to the bathroom. He didn't hear anything strange from the beedroom so he believed that Kyo and Glen would be okay just a bit longer.

Oddly, or perhaps not, it seemed like Kyo's discomfort was the igniter of those grey flames that continued to become increasingly hot with every twitch, and turn, and gaze exhibited by the injured prey. The words uttered from those lips, though, always spark fireworks in his eyes, which seemed to make him look creepily crazy every time.

Glen appeared to enjoy looking directly into Kyo's eyes, as if it would fasten the lock on the cage where the prey sat timidly. And it appeared to give him greater pleasure to notice that there was only a flicker of attention in search of Fredric, before Kyo quickly returned his attention to him.

"You have great potential. I assure you I can help you hone that talent of yours," Glen said in a leisurely manner, inviting Kyo to test the unexplored water.

But then for the first time since he became mesmerized by Kyo, he perceived a distinct voice from the living room, "Success!" The flame in his eyes flickered as the thought of Fredric's return came to his mind. He abruptly pushed himself further into Kyo's personal space, the flames brighter than ever, and almost forcefully insisted, "Come sing with me."

Glen seemed so forward compared to his reserved manner from earlier, watching everything that Kyo did unrelentingly cause discomfort to grow in the pit of his stomach. He had never had anyone watch him for so long, a glance then ignoring sure but never such close scrutiny. It made him wonder what he had done to rile Glen up. The words rolled of Glen's tongue so simply yet it caused his heat to skip slightly.

"W-w-w-wait... w-what. Potential... t-t-talent?? What are you talking about" unable to manage louder than a whisper he all but breathed the words into Glen's face as the man moved closer to him. "I can't sing if i don't know any songs...." Oblivious to the fact the clattering had stopped he couldn't help but wonder, what exactly did Glen want. Was he being serious, was he teasing? Kyo couldn't tell.

"W-why are you doing this?"

Fredric did take his time with the bucket. He also made his bathroom a bit more manageable to be in before he filled the bucket. Champ followed him closely and Buster had gone of to his dog-bed in the living room. Fredric himself wasn't that worried about the situation with Kyo after that he had awaken and he had left Glen in there too so it shouldn't be any problems on that part. And if there was anything they would tell him. At least he thought so as he grabbed the bucket and a soap before he turned around only to step on Champ's tail. With a loud meow and some hissing Champ ran away while Fredric fell down on the bathroom's floor with the bucket beside him.

There was a mix of pleasure and discomfort in Glen's face. Kyo's whispers pumped him up, yet he was held back from doing anything that society considered as inappropriate by the mere notion of Fredric's return shortly.

So all he did was inch closer and closer towards the uneasy Kyo. Slowly, slowly, until he was close enough for Kyo to feel the cool tickling of the air movement as Glen inhaled the air from Kyo's face ever so lightly. Then he let out a waft of warm air, bit by bit, as he exhaled the air that had travelled and explored the unholy body.

Glen continued to inch closer. His eyes were ablaze, but his lips were soft and gentle. They were slightly parted by now, and were just an inch away from touching Kyo's lips. A peachy scent was perceivable.

MEOW!

Glen was sent into the air instantly. He landed on his feet with his back straight as a ruler, just as a loud bang of the bucket hit the floor. He turned his head in the direction of the bathroom, wide-eyed.

A shiver ran through Kyo's body, Glen was forcing him to allow someone so close to him, a place nobody had been in many years. The discomfort coiled around itself as Glen moved slowly closer, his heart skipped and he almost wanted Glen to continue his approach, his lips parted, invited Kyo to move forward himself. He forced himself to remain still as though it gave him a slight level of control over the situation. Then Glen stopped, Kyo could have sworn he heard himself whine quietly that the man had stopped but didn't have long to thing about it.

Barely seconds after Geln had stopped moving a huge racket came from where ever Fredric had gone. A cat meowing loudly and a heavy thump, the noises startled him, however he was only able to move a small amount, Glen however jumped quite impressivley and landed on his feet. Kyo joined him in looking towards the source of the noise and was the first to break the silence between them.

"Should we... maybe see what happened?"

Fredric got up in a sitting position and looked down on his now wet self. "Great..." he mumbled and put the bucket in it's up right position. "I'm okay!" he yelled loud enough so that the others might hear him. He then got up from the floor and filled the bucket once again. This time he made sure that no animals where close by. He didn't want to do this again. He believed that Glen and Kyo had been waiting for him enough and didn't do anything about his wet appearance and went towards the bedroom with the bucket and the soap as soon as he could instead.
