Saraf sighed in relief then nodded slowly. He wasn't exactly sure if he wanted to know why Azan was use to seeing people naked so he didn't ask. 'Somethings are better left alone.' Saraf looked towards Lucifer at the steps with a look clearly daring him to say anything. One thing Saraf hate was 'I told you so' comments he often got from his brother. Lucifer smiled innocently at his brother pretending to be clueless.

Lucifer turned his gaze to Azan and nodded slightly in return with a softer smile. The dragon knew that Azan was still afraid of what Saraf's reaction would be once he finds out that Azan was in fact the Avatar. But Lucifer knew that Saraf would accept Azan for what he was, in fact their bond was already working if it wasn't then Azan would have never had been in the forest when he did and Saraf wouldn't have the sense of relief and piece that he was experiencing while being with Azan. He just hoped that Saraf's lack of trust in the human race wouldn't get in the way of that if Azan keeps this from him for too long. He could only imagine what would happen then especially since Saraf still didn't have full control of his element.

Saraf looked at the two questioningly. He had a feeling that he was being left out of something which kind of pissed him off but he didn't say anything or let it be shown. Lucifer never hid anything from him at least nothing important or something that could hurt him. So, whatever they were hiding probably had nothing to do with him 'I need to stop being so damn paranoid.' When he felt a hand on his should and saw that it belonged to Azan, Saraf smiled gently at the other teen and followed behind Azan, "Good because there's a new cuisine restaurant that opened up a few weeks ago. It's separated by what country you wish to eat at. For instance, if you want Italian then you go to Italy and so forth. So you don't have to worry about them not having what you don't want or use to."

Lucifer nodded in agreement,"many of my dates took me there and you are never disappointed. Plus, no matter how many times you go they have so many meals and countries that you never have to order anything twice unless you absolutely want to." Lucifer loved that place especially since he could easily get free drinks from that cute bartender that was in the main room. He clapped his hands together, "Okay let's go everyone." He escorted the two boys out the door before locking up the house with Avalon in side. Though they rarely used it, Lucifer had thought that it would come in handy if they had a car and what's better Lucifer didn't have to pay for it. Instead, one of Lucifer's man toys bought him a GTLM convertible for their two month anniversary gift. Lucifer was far from a gold digger but he was also not one to turn down generous gifts either. So they all piled in. As they went down the road and came into the city limits, Lucifer started pointing out different clothing stores and eateries along with other things. Saraf didn't say much just sat back and watched Azan with a soft caring smile.

Azan blinked and looked back at them as his eyes grew wider and wider, "what?! REALLY!" He beamed with excitement. "I want Chinese, no! Water tribe noodles, wait no! French! No... Italian?" Stepping into the car he followed their lead and buckled in since he hadn't ridden in a car either.

The brunette was stuck to the window looking around in awe, "wow... any of those places look like they have nice clothes. Why don't you two pick a place and I'll wear whatever you want me too." He had no sense of fashion either. Being cut off so much left him in a bit of an awkward position. His mannerisms and speech was a bit odd. As he moved he kept pulling the sleeves of his shirt down to cover his markings. He was nervous about being in public.

The brothers laughed at the boy's excitement. Saraf couldn't help but to admire the other teen's innocence. It was a lot different than the cold hateful looks and comments he was use too. Just by watching the brunette, a need to protect Azan swelled within Saraf's chest and that was exactly what he was going to do. 'I'll keep happy just like this. Azan will never know the cruelties of this world if I can help it.' Saraf promised to himself, "you can have whatever or how much you want and don't worry about the cost. One of Lucifer's boy toy's would surely take over the bill like always."

Lucifer chuckled at Azan's antics as the boy was goggling everything they past, "We'll actually be going to quite a few places so we can figure out a style that would match you." He turned his gaze to the rear view mirror sending a glare to Saraf, "Don't say that. He only payed for it to make up for angering me that one time." Saraf snorted turning to look out the window again. Lucifer was distracted when he saw sudden movement from the corner of his eye. 'He really don't want anyone to know who he is.' Lucifer frowned as he watched the young teen fidget with his clothes to hide his markings.

When they finally got to the place, Lucifer parked in the restaurants reserved parking lot. He got out the car and went to the backseat to find a nice small leather box. He opened it revealing two artistically made white gloves, a gift from Saraf to help him hide his unnaturally long sharp nails but today it would be used for something else today. He walked over to Azan and handed the gloves to the bender before playing with the boy's hair a bit until the majority of the arrow on Azan's head was covered. Lucifer winked at him,"until we find something proper to cover them with. Shall we go in?"

Saraf stretched watching his brother. He hated that Lucifer could so easily be around Azan so naturally. That Lucifer could be that close and touch the air bender without freezing up in the slightest. Truth be told, Saraf was jealous of how close Azan and Lucifer were. That was the kind of relationship that he want with the other teen but he was afraid to get so close to another human. A part of him told him that he could trust Azan but another part was screaming for him not to because if he did he would be abandon again. Saraf could still fill the pain he felt when he was told by the dragons why his parents left him behind. He wasn't sure if getting closer to Azan was worth a repeat of said pain. Sighing, Saraf closed his eyes gently before leading the way into the restaurant not looking back to see if the other's were following.

Azan blinked a little as he played with his bangs then smiled softly at him, "thanks. These are really hard to cover up sometimes." He followed after Saraf and took a quick glance around. The police were on high alert. Most of them didn't know what he looked like, he was sure they were on the watch out for someone close to his description. Thankfully once inside he didn't see any inside.

Wandering around for clothes shopping should be fun but he was sure they would be expecting him to travel alone. Once they reached their table Azan took the seat facing the door to watch it carefully as they talked. Hopefully they wouldn't think he would be playing around in town and search more hiding places.

Taking the menu he looked over it not sure what half of these meals were, he leaned close to Saraf and pointed at a dish on the menu that was a chicken and spaghetti dish, cooking on garlic and olive oil, "is this good?" He didn't know many dishes so he was curious.

Saraf narrowed his eyes as he saw many police officers walking through the street searching . . 'But for who? Then he remembered that Azan said that Azan said that he had "escaped " from the temple not that he had walked out the front door. He slowed his pace a little while Azan caught up with him. Saraf made sure that he could always see the other teen from his peripherals at all times. 'why are they going to such lengths to retain Azan? Was he really that important to them or was he just that good of a slave? ' Saraf balled his fist while barely keeping control of his powers as his anger rose. There was no way in hell that he was going to give Azan up, especially to those bastard who treated the boy as some type of pet.

As they entered the resaurant, Saraf quickly noticed that the place was derived from officers.. 'They aren't expecting Azan to be at such a nice eatery let alone be welcomed by strangers. Well, I guess Lucifer's expensive taste was about to come in handy.' Saraf was bought out of his thoughts as they were taken to their tables. He sat on the side with Azan next to the window. Saraf opened a menu and began reading it lazily already knowing what he wanted. He blushed lightly as Azan leaned over pointing out a dish on Saraf's menu. Saraf rearranged himself so his right arm was on the back of Azan's chair allowing Azan to rest comfortably on Saraf's side so they could look at the menu together. Finally looking down Saraf saw what had caught the other's attention, "yeah its good. The chicken is backed to pefection in many different herbas and spices. The meat basically melts in your mouth. The sphaghetti is mainly noodles boiled in water with herbed seasoned tomato sauce poured on it."

Lucifer ignored the human law enforcements that were crowding the street. After all why should he fear a bunch of spinless humans with sticks? Plus with someone as possessive as Saraf , Lucifer knew that he didn't have to worry about Azan's saftey. Lucifer smiled as he watched as Saraf dutifully place himself next to Azan at the table. Lucifer took a seat in front of the two teens. He didn't have to pick up the menu he already knew what he wanted and just studied his two young companions. He gave a soft chuckle as he saw Saraf all but cuddle Azan to his side and talked about the many different dishere on the menu. 'CUTE' was the only was Luscifer could describe the two at the moment.

Unconsciously, Saraf wrapped his right arm around Azan's shoulders, "Azan I knew to tell me about the people who is after you. You don't have to tell us why they kept you locked up at that temple but not now. When you are ready you can tell us." Saraf gave a reassuring squueze to Azan's shoulder with a soft smile. "Don't worry we won't think any less of you. After all it couldn't be that bad." Saraf turned his head so he could look directly into the teen's dark blue orbs and whispered lowly with determination, I won't let anything happen to you. They won't be allowed to take you back to that place with me still alive."

Azan's eyes got wide and worried as the other asked. He opened his mouth to speak but only sucked in a shaky breath of air. Since birth he was told telling people who he was was dangerous and people would treat him differently. He didn't want his friendships to change. Taking a deep breath he started removing one of his gloves, "I'm..."

"There's no way to tell you who's after me without telling you who I am," Azan scooted a little closer looking over the others face. "please don't let things change..." His eyes looked at the other face in almost a desperate matter. He knew he was causing a lot of trouble by leaving but the Avatar shouldn't be locked away. The reason they lost so much respect was the last one let himself be locked away. People believed they didn't need him anymore, when he was hoping they would come to him.

Now Azan had the task of proving they were still needed. He set the glove on his own lap then pulled down his sleeve revealing his arrow to Saraf, "I'm the Avatar."

Saraf was confused why Azan had become so nervous all of a sudden. He didn't see why telling them about the temple was such a bad thing. It wasn't like Saraf was planning to wage war on those who had imprisoned the younger teen but he thought that he should at least know how strong they were if he was going to protect the boy. 'Who he is? He's Azan isn't he unless he was lying about that?' At the moment Saraf didn't know what he should do or if he even wanted to find out.

Lucifer sucked in a breath. 'He isn't going to tell Saraf that was he? I know I told him not to wait too long but I didn't meant for him to tell Saraf know either.' Lucifer let out a soft sigh. He just hoped that Saraf would take it well and not push the other boy away. 'That's the last thing either of them need.'

'Let things change? Why would he think he could do anything that could make me think any differently of him?' Saraf looked at the other bender questioningly. He then looked down at the tattoo on Azan's hand that Azan kept toying with. 'Does the tattoo have something to do with why he was so afraid?' Saraf frowned at that. What possible could those markings do with anything though he vaguely remembered the dragons telling him something about an important person with some sort of mark on them.

Saraf's breathing became difficult when he heard that, it was as if he was just hit head on by moving traffic. The Avatar was supposedly the strongest of all the benders with the power of bending any element they wanted. It was also said that the Avatar was the only one capable of saving benders and normal people from their own selfish and destructive desires. Saraf slowly blinked before he was slowly consumed by anger, "You're the Avatar? Was that what you and Lucifer has been keeping from me? When the hell were you going to include me into this or am I too unstable for you to trust even though I welcomed you into my home when anyone else would have left you out on the street or even locked you away for good making sure that you never escaped from that hell ho . . . ."Saraf stopped short seething with anger as a waitress approached them. He quickly told her their order nearly snapping at the poor girl and sent he on her way.

"Enough Saraf, I think that you have made you point extremely clear. "Lucifer bit out just as angrily before the younger man could continue. "Yes, I knew about him being the Avatar but not because he told me but because I figured it on my own when I first got a glimpse at the tattoos. You must understand that he didn't tell you because he didn't want you to hate him. He just wanted and needs you to be his friend without fearing him." Lucifer took a deep breath before his voice dropped to a near whisper, "Is it truly so wrong for him to hide from us when you do the same thing so others don't fear you and your fire bender abilities."

A pain of guilt ran through Saraf as he actually looked at the boy in front and saw the desperate expression within the other's eyes. ' I hate that look. It makes him look a lot younger and more vulnerable than he really was. It doesn't suit Azan at all. He should be doing nothing but smiling or laughing in pure happiness.' Saraf hated himself for hurting the boy that he mentally promised himself that he would protect. He's anger always got the best of him but Saraf knew that that wasn't an excuse. He looked at Azan before pulling the boy in his arms in a gentle hug, "I'm sorry I exploded like that. I shouldn't have said any of if especially when I didn't mean a thing I said." Saraf pulled away shortly before prushing his lips against the tattoo hidden underneath Azan's bangs. "Can you forgive me? I hate when people hide things or lie to me especially since when my parents did it, it almost cost me my very life " Saraf whispered the last part silently not daring to look the other. It was hard to apologize since the only person he ever did was Lucifer and that rarely ever happens in itself but what was the hardest was to tell a person about the type of parents he had even though he didn't go into depth about it. Taking about his parents, still brought up painful memories.

Lucifer smiled sadly at the two in front of him. Even though Saraf didn't say it out loud, Lucifer knew that the apology was towards him as well. 'I forgive you Little Brother. I am sorry as well but it wasn't my place to tell you Azan's secret. I hope you understand.' Lucifer's smile grew even more when he saw the slight nod come from Saraf and caught a small portion of Saraf's voice in their link, 'I love you Luc.' It wasn't often that Saraf let his guard down and when he did. It always made Lucifer's heart swell. 'Love you too Firebug'

Azan was panicked seeing the others reaction. Oh no he knew it! He was shaking and about ready to run away when he finally calmed down. Taking a deep breath he leaned into the hug wrapping his arms tightly around him. That's all he wanted was acceptance. So many people hated what he was and he was trying hard to change things.

The brunette closed his teary eyes as Saraf kissed his forehead. Taking a deep breath he smiled softly, "all is forgiven. I won't keep things from you ever again. I'm just glad your not completely mad at me. This... ever since I was small they took me from my family and put me in that temple. Their afraid of people because of what the last Avatar did. He sat there doing nothing while the world crumbled... now things are so bad for benders... Benders are needed we're part of this world too."

He raised his head and looked at the other, "they wanted to keep me locked away until I mastered all elements and stuck me into politics. They wanted me to become a spokesperson for benders instead of the leader of benders. I was to sit in a room and debate with people who... hate me. The Avatar had never betrayed the people... we jsut try to make others understand."

Azan took a deep breath and shook his head a little, "this needs to change. This is going to change. For all normal people and benders."

Saraf relaxed slightly when Azan returned his embrace. Saraf let out a breath he was unaware he was holding when he heard said that he was forgiven,"I doubt that I would have stayed mad at you. I just tend to blow up sometimes. Lucifer calls them 'episodes' and usually just ignores them. If you're going to be staying with us, then I would suggest for you to do the same." He nuzzled the brunette's hair then frowned as he continued to listen to Azan. He snorted dryly at what he heard, "I'm guessing that they did the same with the previous Avatar as well. If imprisoning the old Avatar cause this mess then how do they supposed imprisoning you would change anything. Sitting around drinking tea and talking like old high school friends aren't going to change the shit that they put benders through, especially those who bend fire." Saraf growl out the last part. He knew personally the things that 'normal' humans and other benders did to the fire benders though he didn't have as bad as most since Lucifer always came to his side when things got out of hand for Saraf to handle on his own.

Saraf slipped a finger between them and under Azan's chin forcing the other to look at him. Saraf then cupped the boy's cheek wiping away a few stray tears that fell from the other's eyes with his thumb, "none of that. I never want to see you cry. You did well escaping from there which is the first step of becoming that leader. Don't worry they won't hate you for long. All they have to do is be in your presence and they would be under your control. You just have that type of personality that makes people want to be around and protect you though it is going to be hard to make them change their minds about us, especially with all the chaos rogue benders have caused."

"You're right. This will all change. You have me and Lucifer here to help you to the best of our abilities," Saraf smiled genuinely at the boy in his arms. "And I will be by your side ever step of the way so you will never know what it feels like to be abandoned."Saraf whispered the last part in Azan's ear.

Lucifer smiled at the two boys. 'It seems their bond is getting stronger. That's good. Maybe, just maybe all of this will work out just like it was written.' Lucifer turned to see their waitress blushing as she approached their table timidly with their orders. He nodded to the young girl silently telling her that it was okay for her to come closer. Lucifer gave the girl a dazzling smile while he helped he pass out the dinner's to the rightful owner, "don't mind them. They've been apart for so long because our families could see the beauty of their love. It was only today that these star cross lovers finally fond their way back into each other's arms after all these years. They are just trying to make up for lost time spent alone in a cold bed." The waitress nodded with a few tears in her eyes. Lucifer could have sworn that he heard something along the lines of 'so romantic' as the girl scurried along to attend her other tables.

"Sorry to break up something so lovely but I think it best we eat then return home to finish this conversation and just take you shopping in the morning," Lucifer stated with a sly smirk as he picked up his fork to begin eating his meal. "We wouldn't want or need someone over hearing us especially where there are so many innocents around. But don't worry Azan, my temperamental brother is right. Neither of us will ever allow you to be taken from us." Lucifer's eyes glowed slightly as he spoke with a innocent enough smile. He knew that now more than ever he would have to make sure that nothing happened to Azan no matter the cost. 'Though it will be easier now that Saraf knows who exactly Azan is now.' Saraf glared at his brother when he heard what he was telling the waitress. 'I'll kill him one day' Saraf tighten his grip on the young Avatar.

"Welcome to the family Azan," Lucifer smiled genuinely at the young teen in his brother's arms before going back to enjoy his meal and wine.

Rogue bender? That's a problem. He knew things were bad but that's very bad. The brunette sighed softly and smiled to Saraf, "thank you." He leaned into the others touch. No one had really touched him besides fighting so this was a plesant sensation. Lovers? He turned to Lucifer, is this what lovers do?"

Turning around he scooted into the table and smiled clapping his hands together, "thank you for this meal." He then grabbed his fork and starting eating almost daintally. At he first bite his eyes lit up, "oh wow! This is amazing!" He continued to eat his food.

After a moment he leaned in to Lucifers side, "what did you get? Could I try some?"

Saraf let go of Azan as he returned to the other's smile. He never felt the need to be close to others out of the dragon clan he was raised by. 'I guess there is a first time for everything.' He blushed when it finally sunk in that Lucifer had referred to them as lovers. Truth be told. Saraf didn't really mind at the thought of it.

Lucifer smiled at the young boy, "yes what the too of you are displaying is a type of affection mostly show by couples/lovers. There are other things that they do as well but for the most part they go out on dates and just spend time together. Though the other things are a lot more entertaining." Lucifer winked at the teenager.

Saraf glared at Lucifer blushing deeply, "don't put those types of things in his head. He isn't a pervert like you you filthy dragon."

Lucifer just chuckled lightly ignoring Saraf's accusation, "don't be that way after these things are all natural to us all. It's not filthy at all." Lucifer looked over at Azan sweetly. "You're welcome Little One. This is Shrimp Fra Diavolo. It's herbal seasoned Shrimp and pasta served in tomato sauce. Here." Lucifer took a good scoop with his fork off his plate and held it out to the younger male."

Azan didn't know anything about lovers. He barely knew what kissing was. He always kissed Avalon on the head but never a person. Isn't that what lovers do?

Azan smiled softly and leaned over taking a bite then made a face as he chewed and swallowed, "shrip tastes weird..." He didn't seem to be a fan of sea food. He then turned to Saraf, "what did you get? Oh do you guys want to try mine?"

Lucifer chuckled lightly as he saw the face the boy made as he tried the seafood dish, "seafood is a required taste. Not everyone likes it and most are allergic to it. Thankfully you're not or we would probably have had some problems."

Saraf shook his head as he watched the two, "luckily for you, you came after Lucifer's seafood, rather shellfish craze. Those were dark times in our household. I even had to take off from work for a week because the smell alone of anything aquatic made me sick to my stomach." Saraf shivered at the memory. He looked at Azan and picked up a fork full of his own dish giving it to the younger teen, "this is cajun chicken alfredo. It's seasoned boneless skinless chicken breast cooked in tomatoes, garlic and white wine. It is then topped in this cream to give it it's unique flavoring along. You can rarely go wrong with any type of alfredo."

After a good hour had past and he saw that the two younger teens were down Lucifer waved down their waitress for the check, "I think it's best we go home now. We have a lot of matters to discuss and be prepared for before things get out of hand with Azan's escape from the temple." When the waitress came back, Lucifer was about to pay for their meals when the girl stopped him stating that the owner of the restaurant had taken care of it personally. His eyes widen but he didn't say anything as he saw the blush on the poor girl's cheek and took it as it was.

Lucifer shot a short glare at Saraf when he heard the other male chuckle quietly. Lucifer smiled at the girl getting up and bowed to her politely while giving her a generous tip for 'putting up' with them even though it was the girl's job to do so. Finally, once everything was settled he moved towards the door not waiting for the young teens to follow him. Lucifer blushed when he saw the young restaurant owner standing not that far from the door. Pulling himself together Lucifer winked at the other man with a knowing smile then headed toward the car to get it started.

Saraf followed shortly after Lucifer staying beside Azan as they walked through the door that lead to the open streets. There were still law enforcement patrolling the streets but not as many as there were before they went to go eat. Saraf lead them to the car were Lucifer was waiting and jumped in the back buckling his seat belt, "told you one of your play things would pay for the meal. I wonder what any of them would do if they knew that you were a 15 foot dragon weighing over a ton?" Saraf smirked as he head Lucifer growl uttering painful threats to the boy under his breath.

Once they reached home, they got out of the car and headed towards the house. Saraf opened the door with his fire this time as well but the only difference was that his flame took the shape of an actually key instead of forcing the lock to open with force like last time. Saraf walked into the house with Lucifer right behind. Saraf quickly turned on the lights and sighed with relief when he saw that Avalon didn't tear through any of their things or broke something. Then Saraf walked into the living room and took a seat on the empty couch just as Lucifer came in with three cups of warm green tea with pomegranate flavoring.

When they were finally settled and comfortable, Saraf looked over at Azan with a soft but serious gaze, "We, well I now know that you are the Avatar and what they were planning to do with you but there has to be more than that. Why were they so eager to lock you away instead of letting you try to correct what the last one destroyed. Why is it so important to them for you to be returned? Most importantly what are you planning on doing about all of this?"

Azan was oblivious at what went down at the resteraunt. As they were leaving he was on high alert and trying not to make eye contact with any officers. He wanted to get away... Quickly scooting in the car he sat up looking out the window in excitement. Once they were back he smiled seeing the other use his bending powers to unlock the door which made his heart soar.

Avalon popped his head up and mewled as Azan flew over to him and laid on his back hugging him, "I'm sorry I had to leave you."

Then the question came... he knew they were coming but he still didn't feel prepared for them... "The media has made it clear the Avatar isn't necessarily needed anymore. Normal people and benders alike hate me." He slide down to sit on the floor and lean back against Avalon who cuddled against him. "So many death threats and so many groups against me now that they fear I can no longer help. These people at the temple view me as precious and in order for the world to still flow correctly I need to be alive. It's easier to keep an eye on me if I'm locked up."

Azan took a deep breath, "I honestly don't know how bad it is. I had no communication with the outside world not even with my family..." He shook his head then looked over at him. "I feel showing up and starting to help fix what needs to be fixed will bring about people hope again for a better future instead of watching it spiral into turmoil. This is my job, I must succeed at helping them. Then... I need to find an Earth bending teacher." He blushed a little and a finger came up to gently scratch his blushing cheek.

The other two sat and listening carefully to Azan as he spoke. Saraf's anger began to rise as he heard of the people who had actually threatened Azan without even knowing that the boy had nothing to do with what was happening at the moment in the world. 'It was the previous Avatar who just sat as the world went to hell not Azan.' Saraf stood up and knelled in front of the younger male.

"You do what you think you must and we'll back you up every step of the way." Saraf stated seriously. "As for the media, they actually isn't that hard to control. Plus, they said that you weren't 'necessarily' needed not 'completely' unneeded. in my mind that is two different things. We just have to find something that will put the focus on you and make the world realize that you are still needed." Saraf leaned forward so they're heads were touching cupping the other's cheek gently. "They were right you are precious and innocent and now I see that they were only keeping you there to protect you and to stop you from becoming from the world like so many others had become."

Saraf backed off slightly to meet the other's gaze better, "as for those who hate you, we can work around that. They only 'hate' you because they think that the Avatars have forsaken and abandon them. But once they see that a new Avatar has been chosen and he is willing to correct the damage the old one had made, I'm sure we can find followers that would be willing to help out."

Lucifer nodded in agreement, "Saraf's right. Once you make a positive appearance and show them you mean well many will flock to you. Even though it doesn't seem like it, there are quite a few of pro Avatar groups." Lucifer tilted his head in a thoughtful way before smiling. "The government thought that they have disbanded those groups but in reality the groups just went ghost for a few years though they are still having frequent gatherings under the radar. Once we get them on our side, the world will have no choice but to hear you out whether they believe you or not doesn't matter we just need to plant in them that you are on their side and that you are willing to fight for your people."

Saraf and Lucifer raised gave Azan a doubtful look. "An earth bender," Lucifer asked with a raised eyebrow. He notice the blush spreading on the other's cheek thinking that it was kind of cute. He sighed softly, "you're serious aren't you? I don't know any one near by that could help you with the ability to earth bend that can help but if there is someone at the temple who can teach you we will take you there." Lucifer gave the young boy a reassuring smile. "Don't worry no one would dare attempt to anger a dragon or bother one of their charges. If they wish to stay on my good side they would not dare harm you or try to take you from me."

Saraf just stared at the boy a while longer. In Saraf's mind earth bending was one of the easiest to do along with water bending making air and fire the two hardest elements to learn to bend and be able to actually control it. The way he was taught by the dragons was that water was the sub element of air since both used the same mind set of being clam, focused and in tranquility with the two elements while earth was fire's sub element both leaning on the side of pure destruction though bending earth was a diluted version of bending earth. Saraf sighed. 'If he can't bend earth people will never believe that he is the new Avartar. Fire . . . even though many people can bend it air would have even been acceptable if Azan couldn't do it but earth that would be harder for people to accept.' Saraf shook his head, "If we want this to work I think we need to get you caught up on all of you elements and find you that teacher or we might have a problem convincing people of who you are."

Azan nodded his head, "yeah. I think they were waiting until I got a little older to teach me because Earth bending might make it easy for me to escape." The brunette scratched the back of his head.

"Well there are several earth benders at the temple," Azan frowned. "I doubt a dragon would stop them from locking me up. Perhaps if I went back and demanded that training they might. Then you can rescue me by flying dragon."

He shrugged his shoulders. The brunette just didn't want them to harm his new friends. The people at the temple were some of the strongest benders.

Saraf smirked, "One thing you should always remember no matter what is that Lucifer ALWAYS gets what he wants. No matter what force he has to use to get it. Luc might seem friendly but he is a force to be recon with." Lucifer gave a curt nod while crossing his arms like a pouting child.

"Even if they do try something, we can threaten them with Saraf," Lucifer shrugged lazily. "You see the most dangerous of benders aren't those who have experience and skill but . . . a fire bender who can't control their element especially one whose element is directly connected to their emotions like Saraf's is. So basically we have our own walking time bomb that if activated can take down ten city blocks without much thought."

Saraf and Lucifer were not above fighting those at the temple if it meant that Azan was safe. At this moment forward, they felt that the young Avatar was their responsibility and would do anything if it would help the boy with his wish. Lucifer stood up and started walking to his side of the house. When he got to the bottom of the stairs he tuned slightly looking towards the young benders, "go to sleep you two. We have a lot to do tomorrow before we go negotiating with the temple about Azan's training." With that Lucifer excused himself.

Saraf stood up helping Azan up as he did so. He took the younger's hand and lead them to their own staircase. Once in front of Azan's room, Saraf reluctantly let go of the boy's hand. He leaned in slightly looking at Azan's lips but shook his head and kissed the other's forehead gently, "Good-night Azan. I'll see you in the morning." Saraf turned on his heel and entered his own room across the room. He walked into his room furious at himself of what he was actually going to kiss the boy. He didn't care that Azan was a guy but still. He knew that the other boy spent most of his life in that temple so he probably didn't even know the meaning behind a kiss. Saraf sighed angrily and walked towards his window opening. He took one last look to his door before shaking his head and slipped out of his window silently. He easily landed on his feet before sprinting off into the night.

"Yeah but one out of control fie bender can be taken down by the fifteen metal benders there," Azan smiled softly. These guys were so nice, he was so happy he ran into them. That was why he wanted to protect them.

Azan smiled softly as he was lead up stairs an held the others hand. When he noticed the other leaning in he looked up at him blinking slowly. He was so close... oh he's kissing my forehead. He almost felt... sad. Why?... "Good night."

Turning to go into his own room he was followed by Avalon who curled up next to the bed. Azan floated over to the bed and laid back on it, "wow this is much bigger than my old bed." He smiled and stretched his limbs out then sat up to remove his pants then still in the t-shirt and boxers he cuddled into the bed. He sighed softly and smiled so happy to be here.

Tomorrow would be tough and might end badly but he would see. He didn't want to resort to violence. If sacrificing himself to keep them from getting hurt then he would. Soon he was sleeping peacefully curled up on his side.

The next morning Saraf walked through the front door covered in bruises, cuts, and splotches of blood but none of that seemed to bother the teen. He heard sounds coming from the kitchen so he made that his first destination. He entered the kitchen to see Lucifer hovering over the stove making breakfast. "Morning, Little Brother. Breakfast will be ready soon," Lucifer said cheerfully over his shoulder without looking at the younger male. Saraf just nodded before heading towards the refrigerator to get something to drink while he waited. "Can you pass me some eggs?" Lucifer asked still not looking at the other. Saraf took out the eggs and handed it to Lucifer. That was the first time that Lucifer looked at the smaller male that morning. He gasped grabbing for the other's hand staring at the various bruises that littered the boy, "Damn it Saraf I thought that we agreed that you weren't going to do anymore street bending at least the actually games can prevent this."

Saraf stared at the taller male with anger flashing through his eyes, "why the hell would I do that. You said yourself those games are nothing but a means of entertainment for those who can't bend to make them feel like they are above benders because they didn't have to go through so much to get 'attention' and to prove that benders are nothing more than a bunch of savages that could never co exist in the real world." Saraf snatched his hand from the other.

Lucifer sighed defeatedly as he shook his head, "fine just go up and shower and I'll mend your wounds when you come back down." Saraf nodded as he turned and exited the kitchen going to his room. Once there Saraf stripped out of his tattered clothes grapping a few things before entering the shower. He bathed quickly hissing when he rubbed over some of the sorer spots a little to rough. He stepped out and began drying himself. He dressed in black cargo pants foregoing a shirt knowing that Lucifer would just make him take it off so he could heal all of him. He walked out of his room topless with a towel hanging off his shoulders.

Saraf looked at the door in front of him wondering if he should wake their new housemate. Shrugging his shoulders, he knocked loudly on the wooden door, "breakfast is almost ready so I advise you to start getting ready." Without waiting for an answer, Saraf started back down the stairs towards the kitchen. He sat at the table and looked boredly outside the window waiting for the other to finish up. A few minutes found Lucifer placing plates for each of them including extra plates that held even more food if any of them wanted more than just seconds.

Finished putting out the food, Lucifer turned about to leave the room before Saraf spoke up, "I already woke him up. He'll come down when he is ready." Lucifer looked at the fire bender questioningly wondering what got the other in such an irritable mood so early in the morning but then again the boy wasn't a morning person and the fact that he probably slept outside more than likely didn't help much. Lucifer sighed softly as he walked towards the other. Seeing Saraf's bruised body, Lucifer shook his head frowning at the other, "you know it would be much easier if I only had to heal part of you instead of having to heal all of you at once,"Lucifer grumbled not really expecting a reply before going to work at healing the teen.

Azan stretched and was meditating that morning after he stretched. Even though he wasn't there he really did enjoy his routines. The brunette was finishing up as he heard the knock on the door. Inhaling deeply he looked down at Avalon, "shall we welcome a new day?"

Smiling he jumped off the bed and washed himself in the shower. He spun drying himself instantly and pulled on a pair of large pants, securing it with a belt. He then slipped a long sleeve shirt on and walked down the stairs.

The brunette walked into the kitchen and froze seeing Saraf in that state. He ran over to him gently touching his cheeks and leaned in close to him, "what happened? Who did this? Are you alright?" He panicked a bit as he looked him over.

Saraf blushed darkly at the close proximity he suddenly found Azan to his face. Saraf nodded his head slighty as he was bombarded by question. He reached up and took Azan's hands into his own placing their joined hands on his lap. "I'm fine. It just over did it at practice is all. You don't have to worry about me. I get enough of that from Lucifer," Saraf didn't admit to where he went last night. He didn't want the other to think badly or draw away from him. Lucifer snorted at the obvious lie but didn't say anything because he knew that there were still lots that Azan didn't know about the outside world and the last thing they need was for the boy to think that they were into illegal activities. Though street bending wasn't exactly smiled upon but it wasn't exactly 'illegal' either.

Lucifer placed a hand on Saraf's head as his hand began to glow. Slowly, the bruises and cuts started to hell as Lucifer placed some of his ki into the younger male. Saraf let out a soft sigh closing his eyes as he felt a warm wave of energy radiate through his body. The feeling was one of the few things that was a guaranteed way of calming him. Saraf opened his eyes and locked gazes with Azan. Saraf reached his hand out cupping Azan's face, "Sorry for worrying you but I promise I'm fine. Why don't you go eat your breakfast, you must be hungry?"

Once he was done healing Saraf, Lucifer popped the boy in the back of his head before sitting down across from Saraf. "So what did you want to do first Azan? We can go ahead and get this over with going to the temple or post pone it until later today?" Lucifer spoke up after taking a few bites from his plate Saraf turned in his seat and also began to eat. He wasn't really paying attention to the conversation at hand because he was more concentrated on what those at the temple might be willing to do once they bring Azan. He knew that the younger bender would probably agree to stay to protect them even if it meant that Azan never saw outside the walls of that temple again. At that moment, Saraf realized that no matter what happened when they finally went to the temple. He and Lucifer could not allow Azan to be taking from them especially if they wanted the boy to experience what it felt like to be free.

Although Saraf would never admit it out loud but he cherished the happy and loving persona the other bender had and Saraf never wanted that to changed.

Azan nodded his head and watched the other be healed. That was an interesting power... how could he learn it? The brunette turned in his seat and started eating his breakfast, "well... with Saraf hurt I don't want anything to happen to him so maybe we should wait..." He glanced over at the other man wondering if he was really okay.

"The thing is... learning Earth bending will be hard for an Airbender like myself. Air bending and water bending comes naturally. I'm up to electricity bending with fire so I've almost mastered it. But Earth bending... using that kind of force to move a solid object is hard for me," he sighed softly and ate another bite.

"I'm the Avatar... I mean each one did it before me... why is it so hard to learn them?..."

Lucifer laughed waving a hand lazily, "Saraf is the last one you should worry about. Those cuts were very minor and he only got them because . . . how can I put this," Lucifer put a finger on his chin like he was thinking, "you see Saraf is a bit of a masochist so he sometimes allow himself to become hurt. Saraf has one of the best defenses I have ever seen in centuries and the only way to get through it is if Saraf allows his opponents to. I have problems getting a scratch on him even on his off days.So see no worries there." Lucifer smiled with pride at his little brother's skills. Saraf felt the other boy looking at him and returned Azan's gaze as he zoned back in. 'He's worried about you.' Lucifer's voice echoed through Saraf's head. Saraf's eyes widen slightly before he retained his pasture giving the other bender a reassuring smile.

"You have three quarters of the elements mastered plus electricity so stop beating yourself up about it," Saraf reprimanded the younger of the two. "You can't expect everything to come to you easily. Just think of this as the first step to accomplishing your dreams. Beside the only thing I can control is electricity though I wouldn't mind getting some pointers from you," Saraf smirked playfully with a hint of seduction.

Lucifer let out a choked caugh as he looked at Saraf with wide eyes before turning his attention on the other human in the boy. Lucifer gave a short ackward laugh knowing exactly of what 'pointer' Saraf was speaking of. He just hoped that Azan did not at the moment. "Anyway, Saraf is right. We don't know why but Saraf can control electricity like it was second nature . . . while we have to worry about him burning down sections of the house when a light bulb blows or something insignificant along those lines. Saraf is our 'special' child." Lucifer ignored the ominous glare that was discretely shot his way and smiled at the young Avatar.

"Don't fret there is a reason or more like a legend behind why an Avatar can't bend a certain element. I knew quite a few Avatars and each one could bend easily bend three of the four elements of the four sacred nations. For instance, one of the few female Avatars couldn't bend air but she was well rounded in the other elements. Then there was my friend, Alcon who was bad at water bending. The point is that past Avatars had it just as bad as you when it can to a certain element but they did learn. As for why it's so hard well . . . when you figure it out what you are missing then everything will be cleared. That goes for you as well, Saraf." Lucifer gave both the boys knowing looks before he got up retrieving some of the dirtied dishes so he could wash them.

Fortunatly for them Azan did not catch the seduction hint. He assumed possibly flirting or playful manner. He smiled and nodded his head, "sure!"

Azan nodded his head, that was close to a speech he heard before. It didn't offer much confidence but someone from someone other than the templars made him feel a bit more at ease. This man wasn't lying to him and now he knew he could trust him without a doubt. The brunette finished his plated then helped clean up the table with Lucifer.

"Well maybe finding another teacher would be better," Azan nodded his head. "I'd rather avoid a violent encounter." The brunette looked between the men. "Do you knew any Earth benders?"

Lucifer was about to protest to Azan helping since the boy was technically still a guest but stopped knowing that the kind boy would still do it anyway just to help making him smile. "Yes, avoiding a confrontation might be good for now. As for Earth benders go well I know of one but he is very busy and probably can't afford to see us anytime soon," Lucifer's cheeks were kissed by a small blush as he rushed through the last part.

"Stop lying. You know just as well as I do that, that damn badger would drop anything and everything if he even thought you wanted something," Saraf smirked evilly at the blushing dragon before turning to Azan. "We'll go to him. He's probably the most suitable to teach you anyway and while he's at it he can also go ahead and teach you metalbending. We just has to make sure that we keep Lucifer away while he's training you." Saraf laughed as he saw Lucifer's blush darken even more from the corner of his eye. "It's about half a day's ride on Lucifer . . . that is if we can keep the idiot from getting cold feet while we're flying there."

Lucifer glared angrily but it lost its affects thanks to the blush he was sporting, "I have very good reasons to get 'cold feet'." Lucifer crossed his arms and pouted childishly. He honestly didn't want to go and be subjected to getting molested but he wanted to help Azan greatly. Sighing, Lucifer dropped his head a little in defeat. "Fine, we'll leave around noon but if he touches me I'll rip him a new one."

Saraf rolled his eyes but smiled anyway. He knew that as much as Lucifer complained, the dragon did enjoyed the affectionate badger's company more than any of his other suitors. Plus, they were doing this for Azan. Saraf also knew that Lucifer was starting to have a soft spot for the young Avatar which meant that Lucifer denying the boy was slim to none.
