I'm just asking to avoid future misunderstanding so I won't "spam".

Because apparently I was "spamming" when I didn't notice.

 

I found (as I considered) an interesting youtube video about some random guy asking money etc etc, not the point. And I thought of posting it cuz IDK just to make some random conversation about it.

I wouldn't consider it as advertise because it was a youtube video.

And the video wasn't selling socks or porn or anything.

 

Yes I posted a link but its the link that has the youtube video. So "I" wouldn't consider is as advertisement. Because was not a link of a forum, it was just a dumb count down, like a clock nothing else.

It says "anything" so some random video of a guy asking money so he won't post the rest of a video about the secrets of a pyramid shouldn't be consider as "anything"?

 

If "advertisement" is just posting "other sites". Then what about the links that people post in the polls?

 

So if i want to share a youtube video I shouldn't?

If I want to share a funny pic I shouldn't ?

So what is "spamming" in this forum? beside the typical spam we all know.

Heya Isd First really cant remember your thread you have had open in YO. just want share my opinion Ofc we are talking lot of things in here, mangas, animes or other things, sharing funny videos or pics is good if there is no porn materials or some advertisement and there is no problem if we are following forum rules : ) i have open some threads in here and before opening 'em i'm always talking with moderators and making it sure soo my thread would not consider as advertising somethings if i'm not sure about it and there is lot of nice people in here who is always open for questions. So i mean before opening a new thread or posting somethings , we can talk with moderators if we are not sure about somethings

Of course sharing a nice or funny video, or a nice or funny picture isn't considered as spam. So, as long as it is funny and people can laugh about it, it's ok. However, our tolerance is 0 when it comes to things that can be interpreted as 'trying to convince users to pay for something'.

 

First of all, we don't know the guy that was asking for money in the video. He can be a scammer, doing illegal activities, who knows? So, we try to avoid misleading our users and making them think we agree with the guy since we are promoting his video.

 

Once again, we don't consider you a spammer and I'm sure your intention wasn't to spam the YO forums.
