crystald Posted April 29, 2019 Posted April 29, 2019 . SOMETIMES Summer rain hits the windows of the cafe where we met We sip our iced latte and watch people hurry up and down Your fingers graze mine and I hold on tight, our fingers intertwine An electrical current simmers down my arm. Summer breeze hits us on the face as we raced through the lilies field The trees at the border of the forest clearing cast a magical glow Blueberries in cupcakes and caramel popcorns Weave their magic threads in our memory vault. Summer days gold in our minds The moments spend together seem like fleeting time If you gaze back at memory lane is like a shooting star Melancholy for times gone by, excitement for times to come.
