"You're asking too many damn questions... Actually how would you like it if I came over and removed the chip personally? Or you can pick it out yourself, go crazy."

Very, very rude actually. And this wasn't just culture shock, Abalato was just being a bastard at this point.

"You know I think I liked you better when I couldn't understand... And you don't ask the questions around here. This isn't for you to figure out, got it?"

The alien was being overly harsh on purpose since he needed his human to understand straight away that he wouldn't get away with mouthing off or getting overly confidant. He didn't want to suppress the other because that would be boring, but it's better to establish some command from the start rather than try to gain it later.

How dare he?! This alien was just down right rude and no amount of cultural difference was going to settle this matter. "You come out of no where and kidnap me then won't even tell me where I am or what's going to happen to me?! I'm not some puppy you get to pick out and play with just because your parents allow it or something!!" He shouted feeling really hurt now. He was getting worked up and upset all over again. The human placed the soda down away from him knowing he'd be sick if he continued to drink in this worked up state. Honestly, he'd die of a heart attack before he even made it to 25 at this point.

Yuri could feel a whole new wave of tears building up in his eyes but bit his lip and held them back. He couldn't act like a baby all the time. He may be far from his family but he still had to stand up for himself. "I'd be more willing to listen if you'd just throw me a freaking bone and answered at least one of my questions!!" He shouted. How could this alien be so open to Yuri digging out.... wait... was that what was in the back of his neck? He quickly placed a hand over the back of his neck and gently touched over where the translator had been injected into him. No wonder it hurt so much.

"If you hate understanding me, then what was the point in going through the effort," He demanded. His nervous and sweet way of asking questions was growing bolder and more determined. Yuri had no respect for someone as rude as this damn alien.

"Quit whining. In fact you should be thanking me for taking you away from that shithole of a planet you humans call Earth. You're the only creatures who treat your own home like a garbage dump."

The alien knew that the human's home wouldn't last terribly long. Pollution and overpopulation, War and Famine...

Didn't Yuri realize that he had saved him from all that? In his planet no one suffered like that, in fact they were immortal. The system had been perfected and their advancements made that all possible.

"Great question! I really don't fucking know why I put up with you!"

Aba sneered, but he really wasn't this terrible. At least not most of the time. Much of this was a just a tough guy act, a bit of a test to see what he was really dealing with here.

"There is no way I will ever forgive you," He said irritably. What was wrong with this alien. Sure, their planet was slowly dying but humans were only that, humans and he'd never live long enough to see the end of his planet. He was fine just being ordinary in a normal world!! Yuri was getting even angrier at the alien and was seconds from grabbing the soda a pouring it all over the damn demon that kidnapped him.

"I just wake up and already you hate me... Then just return me to my home!!! Then we don't ever have to deal with each other again!!" He shouted and jumped off the bed only to wobble on his feet before hitting against the wall. The human stood there, clutching the wall out of desperation. Damn... the sedative still hadn't worn out of his body. Still, Yuri managed enough energy to shove the alien's hand away before he made his way out the door and tried to find someone else he could reason with.

Thankfully it didn't actually take all that long to stumble into the controls room where Aba's parents were. Though, it wasn't very comforting to see them... "Would you please tell me what's going on?" He asked gently staying by the door for a fast escape should they plan anything. He didn't know anything about them as it was so he had to be careful they weren't as short tempered or rude as the other alien.

"When did I ever ask for your forgiveness? Idiot."

The alien hissed out, his patience growing thinner and thinner every second.

Aba was spoiled, he was an only child. As every alien on his planet was. So he was used to getting his way most of the time and not facing much resistance.

Though it was clear his parents were reasonable and strict enough to sometimes tell their son no when he was in over his head, but sometimes children just need to learn the hard way, though he was no longer a child obviously. But in his society parents and offspring stayed together in a family unit for life.

"Maybe I should send you back and get a human that would actually be worth my trouble!"

He snapped back immaturely, speaking purely out of anger. He was so upset in fact he didn't even stop and try to help the human. Let him go make a fool out of himself and get hurt in the process. His father would teach him some respect!

Only things didn't exactly go the way the alien wanted, because when Yuri did happen to stumble upon his parents they didn't really do anything. This was their son's business after all and they would not interfere.

But they would at least be respectable by answering the human's question. In fact they were very reasonable. It was the father that spoke simply.

"Our son is escorting you to our home."

So the alien that had been following him around was the son... Did the parents actually go and kidnap a human for their kid to keep as a pet? Oh god... "I'm sorry but I don't understand... Why would he do that and what happened to my parents? Are they alright?" He continued his questioning, gripping the door frame, clearly still afraid he might get attacked for asking too many questions. After all, the son seemed overly angry and on the verge of freaking exploding.

"I'm so confused... and scared... I just don't understand what is happening right now..." Yuri said grabbing at the front of his shirt again with one hand, the other still tightly gripping the door frame. Damn.... Yuri was afraid he would have a heart attack on this damn ship... Once again, his body began to shake uncontrollably. "Why was I abducted and Where are we going.. What's going to happen to me once we get there?" Yuri was barely holding himself together as all he wanted to do was break down again but he was trying to show a bit of strength despite all the fear and everything else.

"Your parents are fine, still there on your home planet. Don't worry about them, we left a clone of you to take your place so no one will be missing you."

The father said this all this as if it should have sounded completely normal and reassuring. Like it was the nicest thing anyone could have done, and actually in alien terms it was.

"I know your scared, but it's okay. You actually scared our son quite a bit as well. He came running to us thinking he had already broke you. He just doesn't know what to do with you."

This time it was the mother that had spoken with a chuckle.

"Our son chose you from billions. He must have seen something special about you. Nothing bad is going to happen."

"Re-... Replaced?" Yuri's knees gave out and he fell to them, landing on the ground but still sitting up and staring at the aliens. So not only was he taken from his family and unable to return or even say goodbye, they wouldn't even know he'd left... They'd all just go about their normal lived without him. This was one of the most crushing blows Yuri could possibly take. It was as if he began to shut down after hearing this.

"I understand... I guess to you guys I was just a dog in a shelter you could just pick out as you pleased..." he stated flatly. "One last question... is there anywhere I can go to be alone for a little while? I need to process what's happening...." he said. His voice was dead and his eyes also seemed devoid of all light. Yuri slowly got to his feet and stumbled a bit before catching himself. He took instructions on where he could go and headed off.

Once in the new room, Yuri walked to a corner of the room and sat down on the ground. He sat there in the corner with his knees pulled to his chest and he just seemed to completely shut down as he sat there alone in the dark.

The rest if the journey went by uneventfully. Abalato left his future wife to be to his misery to have alone time to calm down.

The alien needed space too, it had always been just the three of them, and now he had another. A very difficult and noisy pet at that.

But he still was just as much in love with Yuri as he was the day he had first chosen him. Even if he kind of showed in a strange way.

But the other hated him, had already said there would be no forgiveness so the creature sulked in private. He should have listened to his parents, got a bride that was at least another alien instead of a stubborn human.

Time passed, and their travels finally came to an end as they reached Aba's home planet. So different from Earth it was. It was a sci-fi Utopian type of place. Everything was perfect and efficient. Nothing like on Earth.

So they unboarded and Aba was already put in charge of taking care of Yuri as he showed his new room in their home.

Yuri didn't really eat much if anything throughout the days it took to get to the new planet. He didn't cry or sob, he didn't even care that his birthday had come and gone, he just wished to be home but knew now that there really was no point in returning. After all, there was someone else there to take his place so what would he even have to go back to? Still, why was he chosen if this alien really searched through billions of others... There was nothing special about Yuri.

When the ship finally returned to the aliens' home, the small human got up and slowly made his way out of the room. He kept his eyes down and mouth shut, not even attempting to remove the translator in the back of his neck. Yuri was a lot easier to deal with now as he just followed along like a lost puppy and did as he was told to without so much as a peep back. Of course, he still would have preferred that the parents were in charge of him and not their son... Actually, Yuri didn't know any of their names or how to refer to them.. Heck, he could hardly tell his mother from his father...Somehow though, he did manage to keep the younger alien apart... if only just barely.

Once they were out of the ship, Yuri did look up a little to look around but the smaller alien regained his attention and Yuri bound after him trying to stay close. This place was really weird and he wanted to take the time to look around but the fear of angering this alien again was even more frightening. So, he did as he was told.

"Stay close to me, okay? No one hear has probably ever seen a human before and I don't need you causing hysteria."

How funny that sounded, a little human scaring a bunch of advanced powerful alien race. But some things never changed, instinctually no creature likes new things, it's a natural to fear the unknown.

So the alien kept his human in check at his heels, not that he had to really do anything since Yuri was behaving all on his own.

They were a civilized society, there had never been war on this planet but yet that didn't mean the world wasn't without it's share of violence. Why else would they have evolved to have horns, fangs, barbed tongues and tails? Not to mention those wickedly large claws on even bigger hands...

It was a peaceful planet yes, but only the strongest could survive in the harshness of it. But really all those fancy tails and teeth were more for show then actual combat. The better they were, the healthier and better mate to pass on genes. Speaking of which breeding on this planet was strictly regulated. Only the very best were allowed to have offspring. And it was one child per couple to avoid overpopulation.

But we are getting way ahead of ourselves and back to the story...

"I'll show you around sometime, but right now you still need to adjust and learn the culture so you don't make a fool out of yourself."

Hysteria... over a human? Yuri was naturally smaller than these aliens and didn't have anything about him looking sharp or intimidating... He was just that... a human... Still, he gave a small nod and stayed close behind Aba, keeping his head down. Not like people wouldn't realize how different he was at a glance, still he didn't want to get scolded again or start something unnecessary.

The idea that he would be learning a new way of living was terrifying and really didn't want to get on anyone's bad side. Still... Did this damn alien have to be so rude all the time? He was always snapping being really curt with the human... How could he expect Yuri to just give up and behave like a perfect freaking angel after being abducted and told that his parents wouldn't miss him because they put a replacement there... Why couldn't they just create the replacement to take his place here on this planet with this spoiled brat of an alien.

They made they way in the house and Yuri was shown to his room. He looked around wondering if this was a room to himself or if he'd be stuck sleeping on the end of the bed or on the floor of this Alien's room. Got this was absolutely terrifying in more than one way.

"This is your room."

The alien announced as they walked into a very nicely furbished bedroom that was for Yuri all his own. The alien had never had to share a room and he wasn't about to start now.

"Make yourself comfortable. I'll be back to check on you later."

Aba stated as he turned and went to join his parents downstairs for a meal, he didn't bother inviting his wife to be since what they ate wasn't for humans.

Yuri was left standing there in the nice room as the alien practically locked him inside and left. Actually he only shut the door so Yuri could have just left at any time but it was probably a bad idea to do so. He walked to the far side of the room and looked out the window that was there, staring into the streets but being careful not to really show his face where others could see him. The last thing he needed was to cause trouble the moment the alien stepped away.

The human looked out for a while before turning towards the bed and sitting down on it. He realized he hadn't got any sleep since he'd been taken and it was really taking a toll on him... His skin was so much paler than it had been and there were dark circles under his eyes... He wondered if the alien was worried about this or if he thought it was normal... Though, he did freak out at the sight of Yuri crying.

Before he knew it, that soft and comfy bed claimed the small human and he was out like a light, laying across the bed by the time the alien returned. He slept so soundly, the soft breathing raising and lowing his chest.

Aba had a long discussion over dinner with his parents about the human and his responsibilities over him.

He never anticipated how hard it would be, or how he should act...

Feeling even more exhausted after dinner then before he climbed back upstairs to go check on his little human.

Finally the he was asleep! He crept in very softly as not to wake Yuri as he kept an eye on the sleeping male.

For the first time he could see Yuri looking peaceful and he quietly sat on the edge of the bed and just watched him, lost deep in thought and feeling anxiety at the idea that he'd never be able to take care of him properly and it would kill Yuri.

With that unpleasant thought the alien stressed himself to sleep, sort of flopping over and laying on the edge of his human's bed.

Yuri made a bit of a groaning sound as the alien flopped onto his bed but didn't wake. In fact, he simply rolled onto his side more comfortably and continued to rest. It wasn't until morning came around and the bright light that poured in the room that Yuri finally woke up. He seemed to have regained a bit of his color and didn't look as miserable. In fact, there even seemed to be a bit of light back in his eyes.

The human looked around and found the alien asleep in his room... Wait... wasn't this room just for the human? Didn't he say he was getting a room to himself or was the alien just afraid that Yuri would run away in the middle of the night. With a deep sigh, the smaller creature crawled over the alien and out of the bed. He was starting to feel the lack of food now as his stomach growled but also the fact that he freaked smelled... When was the last time he'd had a bath or a change of clothes?!

Yuri scowled at his own scent and knew there was a lot for him to do to get his health back to where it should be... There may be a chance to one day return home so he had to make sure to survive long enough to do so!! Still... How was he going to bathe... And what would he wear?! Oh boy was this getting harder and harder. Time to wake his new owner and show him the trouble of kidnapping a human to take as a pet. Yuri walked over and tapped the other's shoulder carefully.

Aba's sleep was restless, though he never moved around in his sleep or tossing and turning it was clear from the tensed expression on his face that he was not having pleasant dreams. He was actually quite stressed out over this and worried for Yuri. He didn't want to hurt the human, that was never his intent. He wanted to make the other adore him, see him as the perfect mate... He had taken him away from a planet with no future to his home, but it was not good enough...

The alien remained asleep however, as he too hadn't been getting enough with all the excitement of his new human and traveling. But now he was back on his planet and in a very comfortable bed it was hard to even wake up from a nightmare. Even if his head was hell, the rest of him was just too tired and comfy...

That was until he felt something standing over him subconsciously, and then a light tap.

In a movement that was fast as lightening the alien's tail whipped up and poised the forked end right above Yuri's head in an instinctual defense mechanism. See if he had been asleep and Yuri was a predator didn't give him the upper hand. But obviously this was hardly the case.

When his eyes opened and he saw it was just his little wife he quickly lowered his tail and grumbled out an apology.

"Good morning... You must be hungry, huh? I'll fetch your breakfast..."

Yuri jumped and coward away from the tail as it came up at his head suddenly, letting out a strange squeak of fear while the other came to. Damn was this alien dangerous. Thankfully though, the tail was only a warning and was quickly removed as soon as the alien woke and saw that it was only Yuri trying to wake him. The human breathed feeling weak in the knees and stumbled out of the way of the alien as he sat up and got to his feet.

He simply muttered an apology and Yuri just frowned at him. He could try to be a bit more sincere... Oh well. As the alien mentioned food Yuri just had to speak up. It was the first time the human had spoken since the first day. "Uh actually... May I take a bath first? I really need to get cleaned up... and I'll need a change of clothes," he admitted. Man this was so awkward but how could this alien not tell how freaking dirty this human was? His hair was getting greasy and he freaking smelled from not bathing for days and just hiding in a damn corner of the ship.

"Humans need to bathe regularly or they risk getting really sick," he said trying to inform the alien of human nature. "Honestly, I can wait on food until just after I get cleaned up... Eating while this dirty will certainly make me sick," he said. Ok so the last part was a lie but it wasn't like the alien would know. There were no rules or stories that said otherwise.

Humans were kind of disgusting if the alien really thought about it. His kind did not have sweat glands so bathing wasn't necessary. Their planet wasn't made from dirt either so it was very easy to keep tidy.

Come to think of it his human was probably infested with billions of bacteria that colonized their skin naturally, but it was still kind of scary. He had to get him disinfected right away!

"A bath! Of course... No wife of mine is going to be germ ridden..."

He muttered underneath his breath to himself as he gesture for Yuri to follow him.

They walked into their version of a bathroom. But it wasn't really the same. It was more like a big room with a drain in theb middle of the floor and what vaguely resembled a shower head on the wall.

"I'll show you how it works."

Aba pressed a button and waited a moment for the 'water' to come out. It wasn't really water, but a mixture of liquids. None of them were harmful to humans, in fact in anything they were neutral. But to aliens the mixture was perfect.

Yuri tilted his head a little out of curiosity for what the alien was muttering to himself. He said something about being germ ridden but missed the first part of the sentence... What did he call the human? No, that was hardly important. Yuri followed after the alien to what looked similar to a Japanese bathroom. It had the drain in the floor and everything with the shower head above.

Wow, it seemed the alien was even willing to show Yuri how it worked. How nice. It took a minute for the water to start running and it was then that Yuri noticed that it really wasn't water at all. In fact, he had no idea what it was but it was some kind of liquid. He nervously walked over and placed a hand under the falling liquid to find that it really wasn't bad for him. With a sigh of relief, Yuri pulled his shirt off and glanced back still covering his front like some girl.

"I think I can take it from here," He admitted. Honestly, Yuri just didn't want to strip down in front of this man and stand there naked while trying to shower. He really hoped the alien didn't want to stay and watch or get involved in any way... That would be really frightening.

"Make sure you clean properly. I will check on you later. Just press the button again to stop the water when you are done."

The alien instructed as he walked out, still feeling really grossed out so he went into his own bathroom to shower and get all the human germs washed off him.

It didn't take Aba long to get washed, their skin was so smooth that it repelled water off it. So cleaning was easy and he didn't even really need to dry off. Just shake out his hair a bit which was the only part not water resistant.

Yuri nodded and patiently waited for the alien to leave. Once he was gone, Yuri stripped down and showered up, making sure to clean himself thoroughly before turning off the water. The shower took him longer than usual but he was only in there about 6 minutes and when he was done, he looked around for a towel of sorts. When he found nothing, the human got a bit more distressed.. Not only that but he didn't have any spare clothes yet....

The human wandered the bathroom trying to find anything he could use but the only thing there were the clothes he'd just taken off which were no good. Yuri grumbled a bit before waiting patiently, trying to brush the water off his body as much as he could.... Damn, he couldn't even call out to the alien because he didn't know his name... They really were in some bad shape at the moment... With a heavy sigh, Yuri was left to wait there, wet and naked for the alien to return and hopefully knock... if that was a thing for them.

Aba got dressed into some fresh clothes, but technically his kind could get away wearing the same thing for weeks because they did not sweat or get greasy. The only thing changed regularly was underwear for obvious reasons.

The alien had chosen to wear dark clothing as usual, and his pants were baggy but his top was skin tight. Okay, kind of a weird fashion choice but that's what was in for his kind right now.

He went to go check on Yuri and found him huddled up on the floor. He gently tossed some clothes over to the human. They were alien clothes but in a child's size so they would fit the small human just about right.

Yuri was able to get the extra water off him as the alien came in and threw clothes over his body. Oh man... how embarrassing. The human grabbed up the clothes and covered himself up before saying a soft thank you and getting dressed in the clothes. The clothes were really strange and didn't fit quite right to the small human but they weren't too bad... At least he had underwear, pants and a shirt.

"Thank you," he said again as he came out of the bathroom. Yuri didn't look half bad in the alien clothes... Though it was strange to have him wear children's clothing just because his proportions were so much different from that of this alien race. "Are we going to eat now?" He asked curiously. He was starving and as if on Que his stomach growled loudly and Yuri placed his hands over his center. He wondered if these aliens had the same reaction to being hungry or if that sound just scared this one into thinking his human was dying again.

Huh, the human really didn't look half bad at all in these clothes. Maybe even just a little bit cute... No, don't go there now.

"I had offered you breakfast, and that still stands."

The alien teased softly, as he waited for the human to follow him again back down to the eating area where he already had some meals set up for Yuri to choose what he liked from.

Aba seemed slightly confused by the sounds coming from the human, growls almost. Was he trying to be aggressive?

"Hush."

He said simply, not sure what that was. But he was smiling in amusement as he sat down to watch the human to make sure he would eat.

"Have whatever you like. There's always plenty."
