We have lot of gift to give...

But, did you know each gift has there way of saying some thing... ^^

The meaning might be slightly different in western culture...

but, for the fun of it I am posting this... ^^

 

 

The meaning of gifts

 

 

Scarf: I will love you forever.

 

Letter: I am missing you!

 

Flowers: I want to leave my name in your heart!

 

Books: I trust in your grades!

 

Chewing gum: I want to be with you long time!

 

Tobacco: I hate you!

 

Notes:I want to see your pure love!

 

Ring: Please be mine forever!

 

Umbrella: I will protect you no matter what!

 

Hairpin: Good success!

 

Mirror: Don't forget me!

 

Necklace: I want you be by my side!

Okay so... I think different people will hold different meanings to gifts.

 

If I was given shoes I WOULD BE SO HAPPY! I love clothes and accessorising so getting shoes is awesome!

 

If someone gave me a doll (please a Fashion Royalty man doll, fully poseable with black hair \0/) I would not think the person giving me this doll rather than say, a scarf or a cake would want me to remember them any more.

 

When someone goes out of their way to buy or make a gift they want the recipient to treasure the gift and hold it close. The action of getting the gift ready holds the most meaning. The person wants to be remembered.

 

If I was in a relationship I would not expect to get a ring each time for the person to convey that they want to be with me forever and ever *chuckles* There will be a point where I will be collecting receipts to take the rings back to the shop XD
