The whole song is just so meaningful, powerful and uplifting. It suits Emeli's voice very well. This is just one of my favourite songs from her and I never get tired listening.

This is one simple song. Simple lyrics, simple melody, simple voice. Yet the lyrics are well-written and straightforwardly beautiful. The way he's describing the woman was like a combination of complain and amazement of her characteristics and the way he sang it was it's as if he's hopelessly in love with her. Billy Joel's voice will make you go on a journey of imagining that woman he's talking about. It's magical.

 

Songs like this are full of sincerity. Takes you back to the good old days. : )
