Just...who was that guy? Was there some type of shortcut to his house through the woods? And what about the kids that were by the tree? This was all very confusing...Tama thought to himself as he wanted to check out that shrine again tonight and clean it up further, despite the mans warnings. Kouki stood under the massive tree watching as the small chant circles moved with the wind. The after was ugly for lack of a better word, the red color touched the sky and it reflected heavily on the tree. "So you're feeding off of these?" He says ripping one of the papers away from the tree. The sound that followed began as a smile whisper and grew almost as if Kouki was a crowded room, yet everything was far away. It only got louder and he pulled out a lighter and burned the circle, a clear scream could be heard in the background. virtualoo Posted January 2, 2017 Share Posted January 2, 2017 Tama was about to go back home and start walking back toward the cottage...But he got this eerie looming over him again. It was just like the feeling he had gotten before when the students were going to show him the love circle summoning ritual...thing. But that feeling...it was coming from the woods? What about the man from before? He might be in danger! Or it was just a bad feeling but he had to check it out. Their protest was deafening but he tried to ignore it as he worked. 'You small flies can't hurt me' he told himself seeing how the darkness had begun to gather over the tree. Such an nasty thing had been hiding here all this time and no one had even noticed. We're the circles made on purpose? Was someone trying to summon this... why? Questions kept coming to him as he burned them. Soon he too abandoned his human form. A bright light surrounded him, and his suit turned into a long dark haori which matched an equally pitch black hakama. His traditional clothing were far more comfortable once the light dimmed Kouki was in his spiritual form. The voices now had faces, small eyes came from everywhere in the tree staring back at him, each one wide not a single blink could be seen. virtualoo Posted January 2, 2017 Share Posted January 2, 2017 Tama quietly tip toed through the woods, careful not to make a sound or step on any twigs. The air almost felt heavier in the woods now, like he was going to be sick. It just seemed so...unnatural and he had only been to the forest twice. Earlier, he felt weird but now....now was just an overwhelming sense of weirdness. He approached a tree just as soon as the suit man encompassed himself with light, seeming to change forms before his very eyes. It took a second for Tama to register what the man said. Not...human? And t-the eyes, all those demonic eyes...Tama had to press his hand hard against his mouth to not scream or squeal. Please Register/ Sign In, in order to see the links. A circle similar to the one in the papers was made, yet the signs and Latin words differentiated from the ones those kids used. A simple summoning spell would allow that soul to leave his hide out. His eyes shun with a vivid red color as he began to chant, the voices turned into a scream loud enough to break glass. A dark liquid began to emerge from the branches and drip down to the floor. The tree he was hiding behind became the only support that kept him standing, hands covering his ears as the scream rattled through his body and mind. He tried to breathe deeply to calm himself down but his heart was pounding and his body felt like it was on fire. Was this a severe health attack or pure panic? What was even going on right now?! Despite the weakness of the spirit those kids had giving it too much power. Without realizing it they had offered a small portion of their soul for their love dream that was the price for each circle created. Each piece would become the back bone for the one hiding in there. Suddenly everything went silent, as if time itself had stopped. The tree was gone replaced by a dark shapeless figure it's own aura dragging behind it. "Your power is so out of control you can't even properly shape yourself" chuckles Kouki "you'll become a tasty soul once I'm done with you" he says licking his bottom lip his eyes held a hint of a smile on them. Mystery man...ghost man...whatever he was looked like he could get this all taken care of by himself. Tama wanted nothing to do with whatever sort of black gas monster ghost man was up against. Tama went to sneak out from behind the tree and head back home...yet a branch hidden under some leaves was broken under the weight of his foot. -Shitshitshitshitshit- He kept thinking, but he was frozen in fear and unsure of what to do. It seems he wasn't the only one who noticed as the dark spirit became agitated it's body distorting itself to grow a large body of arms that hidiously began to stretch towards the boy. Tama finally got the energy to move but it seemed like it was already too late. The dark mass that had grown these large long arms took hold of him, now actually having another reason for not being able to move. What...was going to happen to him? It cut one of the arms that would've undeniably grabbed Tama's foot. With a swift motion his arm circled the boys waist and lifted him lightly before stepping back setting some distance between the spirits and the two. "Don't let it touch you" he says as he continues to work with the attacking arms. It seemed the other came just in time, picking him up easily. Tama was not sure what to even do or say at this point but knew he had to completely trust the strange supernatural man. His body was sent back flying after the katana had been snapped in half. Despite the pain emerging from his bleeding shoulder Kouki made sure the landing wasn't too rought for the other boy by using his body as a shield. Both fell on the grassy ground some distance away from the shadow. A grown escaped Kouki's lips as the pain increased "H-he touched me" he says as his whole back begins to sting. Considering the landing was rough but soft, he opened his eyes and saw the other bleeding yet still clutching to him. He...protected me? Now was not the time as the otherr was disarmed it seemed and Tama didn't even know what this was. Tama covered up the other while looking the thing right in its...eyes, its many eyes. In another situation he might have laughed slightly. He could feel his body becoming heavy the poison filling all parts of his body. 'At this rate we will both die dammit!' his breathing was staggered and forced now. Tama had so much spiritual energy that it was like a lightbulb in a dark room. Kouki didn't know if the other was aware but none the less borrowing some would not hurt the boy, just simply tire him. His lips moved over the other as he deepened. The wound on his arm had began to heal and soon it was completely closed the only evidence that it was ever there was the blood. He finally released the other after taking more energy than expected "Don't move now Tama, rest" he murmurs in the others ear before grabbing the katana from before and attacking the arms that moved towards him. virtualoo Posted January 3, 2017 Share Posted January 3, 2017 Tams looked at the other very confused before his eyes were soon covered by the others hand. Why did he eyes need to be covered to help? He found out soon after when he felt the soft skin of the others lips on his own, eyes going wide under the others hand. His heart was going haywire like he took a huge dose of caffeine as the other deepened the kiss further. Soon though it felt like his body was crashing, like he had come off his high and was now very tired. Tams could soon see again, propping himself against a tree as he tried to understand what just happened...and how the other looked even more fit and healthy than before.
