Name: Kouki 光希, 幸輝

Appearance: Raven hair, arctic colored eyes. Lean built with a tall muscular structure. Usually seen wearing traditional Japanese clothing.

Attitude: Cocky and care free. Is usually more on the arrogant side but can be understanding. His cleverness allows him to get all that he desires and mess with people for a little fun. Has a clear dislike for humans and their attitude towards life.

Background: Woke up next to a river bank by a small country town in Japan. Does not recall anything else from his life.

The weight on Kouki's shoulder's brought his day down. He could feel the air was restless on that Tuesday afternoon, despite the constant dark energy that had been building around the country town there was something new he could not quite place. It had only grown as the days passed. First he felt it coming from the distant mountains, then it approached the train station miles away from the town. One of his friends approached him, it crowed at him its black feathers shinning brightly as the afternoon sun touched them.

""You're restless too old friend?" murmurs Kouki

His eyes close and he soon returns to his own thoughts.

The man sat next to the abandoned shrine by the river. His body resting next to the large tree his whole existence invisible to any passing by human.

Name: Tama

Apperance: Honey colored blonde hair and auburn tinted eyes. Thin lean build and is usually seen wearing simple clothes, not one for big name brands.

Personality: Kind around most people he meets, usually cautious at first. He loves to explore and learn new things. He tends to hold grudges for awhile.

Background: Tama lived in the city for most of his life until his weak health caused him to move to the countryside to get better. He lives in the country side with an aunt who is usually away to study new farming techniques and crop research.

Finally he was here...Tama thought as he finally reached the small cottage home in the country. The train ride felt incredibly long, much longer than he was ever used to. He knew his aunt would not be there to greet him, leaving him some portions of stew from the last harvest in the fridge. But now was not the time to eat..It was time to see the place he was calling home!

Now, lets start with these woods...Tama thought as he thought he had seen a river in the distance on his train ride in. Tama messed around with his hair as he set his stuff down in the living room. He went out the door as soon as he had come and made his way toward the woods, searching for the river.

A bright light followed by a sharp pain.

Kouki snapped from his dream the sun now gone replaced by a bright full moon.

"This again" ever since that time the dream repeated itself, always the same thing, always waking up at the same time, not a clue of anything.

Brushing his hair pack Kouki stood and walked towards the river his hand gathering some water for his face. Its not like he needed sleep he was just lazy.

"Lets see" he says taking out a small paper drawn by some of the high school girls in the towns school "so they dare to call the spirits for aid in love...fools" with a wicked chuckle his body disintegrated into the air.

"Lets give them a visit" his voice was heard in the wind.

"There you are..." Tama thought as he had finally found the river. There was a presence around the river that he couldn't quite place but like there was something watching him. Well he was in a quiet forest in the middle of the night, probably a passing owl or something. But he wanted to venture further...The woods may have some overgrown flowers or a clearing of some kind.

He wandered only a bit further into the woods, finding a rather odd spot. Now this was strange, a shrine in the middle of the woods? It seemed so neglected out here in the woods despite being close to a river. He went to get a closer look at it, grazing over the material with his fingers.

Kouki loved this part the best. Humans girls believed in the idea that simple unrequited love could be fulfilled with a few notes to some uninterested spirit somewhere. Kouki elevated over one of the girls whose energy lingered in the letter. As far as he could tell she was perfectly normal, her soul wasn't too dark and had a childish aura around her.

"Guess she must've been pretty desperate" he says out loud

'Too bad' his inner self says as he knocks over some of the books on the girl's table. One lands loudly on the wooden floor causing her to jump.

Normally people couldn't see him, but if he focused long enough Kouki could come into view or have them hear him speak. His chuckles escaped his lips resonating loudly around the room. Her face was priceless now, completely white he hadn't done much but her mind was creating all sorts of scenarios . A few flickers of the lights and a small pull of her leg would keep her running far away from the occult, yet as he continued with his plan his attention suddenly snapped to the old shrine.

'Someone has disturbed it' he tells himself realizing that the same energy from before was now close to his usual spot.

"Tss" annoyed he threw the love paper at the girl, a dark mark across her wish and the summoning circle, then he disappeared heading to the shrine.

"It looks like this place had long been abandoned..." Tama said out loud to himself as he rubbed off some dirt and pulled off some plants growing around it. "Not much better but there we go!" Tama said to himself happily, glad he found something so interesting on his very first day out here. Now what was it a shrine to? That he couldn't figure out on his own. Nothing like a good clean up and some looking into that could solve this question. He felt weird but still couldn't place it. He probably should head back though for the evening...He had to finish one more form for the school so he could start soon.

Kouki watched the boy from a branch higher in the tree. He didn't bother to hide since the boy wouldn't be able to see him, but the night had now been covered by some clouds and it would be difficult to see.

His presence didn't provide an immediate thread but Kouki saw why things had felt different around here the past few days.

'So it was you' he told himself as he watched the bright hair move mack and forth. His movements were simple, his actions normal but his soul, Kouki could tell, was ancient. There was more to this child than he left himself be seen as well as the bug that was attached to him.

'Is it a curse?' he asked himself trying to get a better look 'doesn't seem....'

It was rare to see a human like this, usually those with these types of souls were destined for greater things.

"Well goodnight.." Tama talked out loud to himself, patting the shrine. Sure there was no one to say good night to but there were animals and what if it was some ancient grave and not a shrine? Why not? Even if he was just being silly, no one is around anyway. But he definetly wanted to use his last free time tomorrow after his first day cleaning this place up. It seemed like a nice place and secluded despite this overwhelming looming atmosphere of being watched.

'Who are you even speaking too' the innocent reaction caused Kouki to smile. The shrine, he admitted, looked better now. The grasses around it were gone and the leaves had been brushed off, he guessed after some time that was what it needed to look decent next to the beautiful river.

"Thank you" he murmured out loud before using the wind to send a light kiss with the leaves

Huh? It wasn't windy a moment ago and yet a breeze came by, blowing some wind that brought up some leaves. The leaves tickled against his cheek and he laughed to himself. Some really good timing for mother nature...Tama thought as he started to walk back toward his home. He didn't want to have a health attack while he was out before school even started. Tama held his arms close to him to stay warm as he walked out of the forest.

Although it had been some time since he had been in the city Kouki was already exhausted from all the energy. He did this sometimes to see what the humans were up to, their daily lives, maybe shed some bad luck on someone for the day, or maybe grab a coffee. Despite this human energy was always changing and it attacked him.

The previous day he had found an interesting new addition to his list of entertainment. He did have to admit sometimes living for ever was not as exciting as described.

Unlike his usual attire today he wore a suit and tie which was more decent for the crowded areas in the center of the city. Near there were small shops and cafes and at the very end the high school. Kouki assumed the golden haired boy would be on his way there now.

"Allow me to get one of those news papers" he asked an older lady giving her some money in exchange.

Tama knew today would be the start of high school in this new town. It will probably feel more smaller and homely in comparison but you never know. He didn't see anything that would be well suited for breakfast so he left a bit early to stop for a bit to eat on the way there.

He gave himself plenty of time to walk, stopping by someplace with an old lady managing the front. "Something you recommend for breakfast and a paper like this gentleman has" He asked, briefly turning his head toward the other. He seemed so business like, like a man of the city he would always see walking down the streets of the city.

'oh its him' Kouki watched the younger boy speak to the lady and smiled when he asked for the paper

"You wouldn't be interested in things like this" he says with a smile "its for old people" despite his remark he winked at the older woman in a flirtish way.

His attention soon returned to the high school-er. Now that they were face to face he could see the details from the boy. His hair was more of a honey color which was still captivating for him. his eyes provided significant dept and his uniform looked comfortably new.

"You're not from here are you?" he asked out loud.

Was the paper considered for old people out here in the country? He had a lot to learn...Tama thought to himself as the gentleman spoke to him. "No sir, I had just moved here only yesterday with my aunt' Tama said with a smile. "Just stopping at the first place I see for some breakfast before classes" He said as he waited for whatever food the old woman would recommend. "Thank you" He said with a polite smile when he got his food.

It made sense now, everything began to shift once he arrived. The other wouldn't have noticed but it was as if every spiritual being in the town was holding their breath as they watched the moves of the blonde haired boy.

'could this lead him to become a target?' he asked himself before snapping back noticing the other had grabbed his lunch.

"Enjoy the new town and be careful with trouble" he had meant it as a simple warning but Kouki wondered if there was more to it. After that he opened the paper and walked off with the coffee.

Rama wondered why the other was so deep in thought as if wondering about something. He seemed on edge about something...something involving his work perhaps? While he was confused as to what kind of trouble he can get into here, he said "Thank you for the warning I suppose" With a small nod of his head. He took a big bite of his food and went off toward the school.

Kouki went on with his day. Aside from the obvious stuff it seems there was a small rumor regarding a love summoning circle. The only thing he could link it to was the paper he found from the girls the previous day. According to the gossiping mothers one would use the paper to sketch the circle out the lovers name and then attach it to a tree. he circle would call a spirit who would aid you in your love.

Humans were so foolish, using stuff like that only stirred up weaker spirits who feed off of negative energy.

"This could be problematic" he told himself "but where did they even find this circle?"

Tams hadn't been there for long that day and after all his tnroductions, he heard about this thing that some students were doing. A... love summoning circle? It seemed more supernatural stuff or some different beliefs would happen outside the city. He had his own weird experiences with people and their beliefs in the city. It did make him curious...what was it? He asked about it from someone who told him to show him what this circle was about...

"Damn those stupid kids" Kouki had followed a few of them after school to the tree where they had begun to hang the circles. Most of them were folded, others just set out with nails to the tree but at the end they were there.

No only that but the amount that had gathered was not only immense but dangerous.

"This is no little joke anymore" he told himself, knowing this could attract some serious monsters, not only that but to anyone slightly inclined spiritually would be able to feel the thickness of the air around the tree.

Tama had ended up following a few of these students to the tree, seeing an emmense amount of people gathering by the tree for this love circle summoning they were talking about. His chest was starting to hurt like he was having a health attack, but it seemed accompanied by a lingering sense of doom. A sense of danger seemed to linger in the air and he wasn't very comfortable by this tree. "I am getting a bad feeling about this...are you sure its safe..?" He managed to ask, trying to take deep breaths to keep calm.

Kouki's eyes widened as he watched the golden hair boy approach the tree with a group of boys. A dark frown came over his face and he looked at them in disgust. Quickly he hid behind a tree and changed his appearance for humans. His steps were quick and agitated. His hand came up and pulled the boy away from the rest.

"What are you doing, I thought I said to stay out of trouble?" he asked in a voice that spoke volumes. He realized this was going beyond but Kouki had begun to see the bug in the boys soul move due to the dark energy and at the moment he did not want another problem.

"Come with me"

As soon as he said this, it seemed that he was being pulled back by someone. It made him jump for a moment before he realized the person who pulled him back was the man in the suit from the shop. "The man from earlier..." Tama said in surprise as he saw the others face behind him. "Uh...okay? Where are we going?" Tama asked as he wondered where the man was leading him off to.

After sometime Koumi released the boys arm and put some distance between the two.

"Don't go near that area" he spoke with a commanding low voice "it's dangerous, those people are only creating problems for themselves"

Kouki didn't know why he cared but he did admit he was interested in knowing who or what exactly this kid was.

"What's your name?"

"Okay..?" Tama said a bit confused that the man in the suit from earlier just happened to be in the woods and know that the kids would somehow or will cause trouble. Maybe it really is that small of a town to know people like that, but why was he in the woods? That's a question for another time. "My name is Tama" he answered the man with a small nod.

He could tell the other was terribly confused at everything that was happening. Yet, Tama held more spiritual power than any of those human kids and he would surely attract something weird.

"Go home Tama and don't go wondering in the woods" kouki said this before heading back were the tree was
