This is best in december but delicious all year. When you're feeling nostalgic this works like a charm.

- 1 orange

- 1/2 lemon + 1 slice of lemon

- 3 tablespoons brown sugar

1. Clean apples (minus one that will be reserved for later) discarding the heart and seeds.

2. Peel the orange and lemon removing the seeds.

3. Chop the fruit and liquefy (add the water).

4. In a saucepan put the juice obtained, sugar, cinnamon and cloves.

5. Place the saucepan over low heat, hot but let it to boil, then removing it and let stand about 2 hours minimum.

6. Before serving, clean the last apple and cut into wedges.

(For those cold nights or rainy afternoons)

4 servings of 1 cup each

• 1/4 cup half-and-half cream

• 1 ounce of semi-sweet chocolate, chopped

• 2 tablespoons of sugar

• 1/4 teaspoon almond extract

• 4 cups instant coffee, made and hot

• 1/2 cup whipped cream

First mix the first 4 ingredients in a small saucepan over medium heat, stirring frequently until the chocolate has melted and the mixture has finished heating.

Then pour 1 cup of coffee into each of 4 bowls. Add the chocolate mixture by adding about 1-1/2 tablespoons in each bowl.

Finally decorate each cup of coffee with a little whipped cream.

Until next time...
