yehett Posted September 11, 2014 Posted September 11, 2014 Hidaka Shoko never fails to deliver a good, heart wrenching story. Many mangakas are able to draw great characters, illustrate a good plot line (and exceptional sex) but none of them condense all those aspects into one fiery ball of passion as Hidaka Shoko does for me. I find that the mangas that i used to be interested in aren't so great after all the second time round. A lot of which with the stereotypical airheaded ukes and the super horny douchey (sorry for extensive exaggeration) semes. Hidaka Shoko seemed to set that standard for me; she opened my eyes to complex characterisation(which i didn't even know was possible to portray in such a way, especially in a manga) paired with a rich plotline...And often leaving me clutching my phone with teary eyes and a dull ache in my chest. I could ramble on, but yeah. Hidaka Shoko is really special.

Corax Posted April 25, 2015 Posted April 25, 2015 Ayano Yamane is definitely one of my favourites. Her work is awesome. Guilt/Pleasure their artwork is simply amazing and their stories are thrilling. Mizukami Shin because her Manga are hilarious. Rie Honjoh. I read so many Manga by Rie Honjoh and I never got bored reading them all over again. I also like others of course but these would be my favourites.
