the cosplay section is called Yaoi cosplay. Does this mean one is only allowed to post cosplay of yaoi on this forum? hence me suggestion of adding a normal section..... Sorry if i'm simply confused ^^^"

Yeah, that is correct, just yaoi cosplay goes in that section. You requested a Photography section in which you said there would be a Cosplay thread, not a Cosplay section. So, feel free to make the Cosplay thread under the Photography section. (:
