Inulain Posted February 9, 2011 Share Posted February 9, 2011 @ Reita Yeah~ I should have explained to him the meaning, but I guess he is so uninterested in mangas or animes that he really does not like the STYLE (because In his eyes it's childish and – of course! - not real ) @ to the rest xD What can the teacher do if he found out that you're reading the mangas? ö.ö Because at my school they would collect the manga and give it to you after school... (and they - okay, some of them would - scream at you for not listening and paying attention to the class lol ) Actually, I was "caught" (I didn't really hide it anyway...) while reading a shonen ai tonight in school (but it was break time) and a teacher asked me what I was reading there... And OF COURSE! I explained it to him x'DDD (I do have a good relation with my teachers - probably because we do have a small school ^^) He wasn't really shoked... he was just surprised because he thought that I wouldn't read any "naughty" things or stuff like that... First of all she would yell, real bad! Then she would take away my manga and bring it to my main teacher to call my parents and discuss the matter. And, on top of this, she wouldn't return my manga anymore to keep it as "proof" :leaf16: Not only did my friend get shouted at but the teacher did phone her mum and started saying how she was "reading porn" and being inappropriate to read it during school and that younger students might have seen it. I found this to be stupid as it was break so technically we should have been allowed to read what we want and also none of my friends would have shown a younger student what we were reading. The real "hard" stuff, as he said, really doesn't relax you and help you get rid of stress, cause you don't actually evade in another world, the fictionary one. In porn you just see 2 (or more ) ppl doing something normal... I mean, I find nothing special in that... However, if he doesn't like manga and anime, and fiction in general, there would have been no point in trying to convince him... I had a discussion with him today... because he couldn't understnad WHY I was reading mangas and he even made fun of them... uû (he REALLY wanted to look through one of them.. :|) But I think - it's really not his taste... I don't know - but it's okay. (I did hit him because he was making fun of my beloved Yellow-Manga After that he stopped playing around xD) @all Ommo ~~ While I'm reading all those stories and speculations - I'm really shoked xDD Your schools are reeeaaally strict.... And to call the parents? Because of a "porn" manga?! And because you're reading it during BREAK?! Wtf O_Ô I don't know - our teachers (all of them) are not interested in the things we are doing while having break. And we can do actually everything (except hurting people physically or stuff like that xD) If they called my parents - I don't know what I would have done! I mean teachers are very strict, severe and wouldn't accept to bring anything like that in school. And if they catch you reading something "naughty" it would be even worse. And not only the teachers, but also my classmates are pretty harsh on this stuff... only a few of them know that I like yaoi (3 out of 31 to be more specific). Cause the last thing you should do would be to show him a shounen ai... in that case he would definitely make fun of it and think you are childish.
