A tidbit about me.

I have been writing poems for about, give or take 5 years now.

Started writing in 2011

I learned the basics of being a poetry teacher from a woman called Amberly Laverick

and finally. I have performed 3 poetry recitals and have had my poems printed on 2000 brochures

in my town/city.

Here is some older samples I used to write.

The Warm Touch Of Serenaded Honey

I will love you forever and a day.

If I could touch your memory, let it sing out proud!

Nonsensical and sticky is the aura surrounding me

I notice a change in the weather’s patterns

Forecasted a beautiful harmony of music

Dripping wet on my mind, sugar spun hills give out tempting offerings.

Not worth sighing away the heat, it gives a sensation of trust.

Within myself, I value the trials I must endure

An image worth keeping, long for its embrace until night comes.

Sleepless Nights and Haunted Memories

My dreams escape me through a florescent needle

Burning crystals sink deeper into my head.

Still I stir from overbearing nightmares

It’s the scent of hopelessness in the air, the stench of failure

I repel all around me when I awaken

Lingering in the darkness, eternally lost to the desperation within.

Savoir the last drawn breath.

My tears cannot reach you. They fade into the scenery I helped formulate.

An image of death, painted on the canvas of loneliness

Cruelty of the Silent Curtain

Admiring the storm from a distance.

The colours torn away, lost in its own brilliance

A smile is revealed through the cracks of a wall.

Shining on a rough surface of glass.

Blinding all that meet its gaze.

I inject a wave of nausea into its skin.

To let it unfold its facade upon the world.

Merciless hymns reign in my ear

I spiral out of control, soaked in the flood of misery.

Wet and tired, I lie perfectly still

Waiting for the vultures to feed on my ripe flesh.

Enjoy them

Your writing style is so interesting!~ I loved all 3 poems~~ It's hard to decide but my favorite would be Cruelty of the Silent Curtain. These verses left me speechless

A smile is revealed through the cracks of a wall.

Shining on a rough surface of glass.

Blinding all that meet its gaze.

I inject a wave of nausea into its skin.

To let it unfold its facade upon the world.

I hope you share more of your writings!~ cheetah10

Thanks a lot for responding about them.

I have had great response to them from family/friends.

It is always nice to see a bit more praise for what I do.

Amazing works! The words you pick and the way you built each verse, it's so beautiful! :In love:

Thank you for the praise! :)

A one about my current feeling

Perfectly Me

The suns warmth

the moons darkness

deep inside I feel alone

deeper still I feel trapped

when to call it quits

always cold, always frozen winter

the madness never ends

the alienation of oneself

the other half of me

so pointless to understand

so genuine to the touch

I myself harbour deep feelings.

Not so much as my writings however.

At least I think that.

I have been rather "meh" about every little thing lately : /

Thankies!
