Kotorichan Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 Sarin woke back up after about twenty minutes of sleeping. He sighed and climbed out of bed. He looked around for a moment before getting dressed and leaving the room to find Andres.
pandamonium Posted April 9, 2015 Author Posted April 9, 2015 Andres finished eating and went to check on Sarin. He bumped into him on his way. "Oh! I was just about to go check on you! Would you like breakfast before we go?"
Kotorichan Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 "Yeah, that sounds great. I forgot to eat dinner last night" Sarin smiled up at him. "Is someone gonna drive us to go look at apartments?"

Kotorichan Posted April 11, 2015 Posted April 11, 2015 "Um, where's your kitchen?" Sarin asked, looking up at him. "I still don't know my way around this place..." He pushed his hands into his pockets to resist the urge to hold Andres' hand.

He walked through a corridor, down a flight of stairs, through a living area, and through another hallway, until they arrived at a door with a small round window. "Hee she be! Nobody's inside, so you'll be fine."

Kotorichan Posted April 11, 2015 Posted April 11, 2015 "Never? Do you hire cooks or something?" Sarin asked, walking into the kitchen and looking around. "I've had to cook for myself for years..." he began to open up cupboards at random.

Kotorichan Posted April 11, 2015 Posted April 11, 2015 "Anything is fine..." Sarin found some bread in a cupboard and some jam and butter in the fridge. "This is good..." He spread the butter and jam on a piece of bread and then made it into a sandwich. "I used to do this all the time in middle school, except I'd usually put a bunch of powdered sugar in it too" He smiled slightly at the memory and started to eat.
pandamonium Posted April 11, 2015 Author Posted April 11, 2015 "Powdered sugar? Sounds like it'd be overly sweet, but I wouldn't mind giving it a try. I think there's some sound here..." He went over to the cabinets and began looking for it.

He searched around for a moment before finding a frying pan and putting it on the stove. He added some butter to the pan and turned on the heat.

Kotorichan Posted April 11, 2015 Posted April 11, 2015 "I used to fry it" Sarin put both of the sandwiches in the pan and glanced around. "Once you find the powdered sugar can you look for a lemon or some lemon juice?"
pandamonium Posted April 11, 2015 Author Posted April 11, 2015 Andres nodded, setting the order sugar beside Sarin. He went over to the fridge and looked around for lemons, finding a few and bringing them over to him. "What are you making?"
Kotorichan Posted April 11, 2015 Posted April 11, 2015 "Sandwiches" Sarin said brightly. He sprinkled the powdered sugar over the bread as he cooked until the fried bread was coated in sugar. "Could you cut the lemon into slices for me?" He asked as he moved the sandwiches to two plates.
pandamonium Posted April 11, 2015 Author Posted April 11, 2015 Andres shrugged as Grrr grabbed a knife. He gingerly cut the lemons in half and took them over to Sarin. "I see that, but what are you going to do with the lemons? Put lemon juice on them?"
Kotorichan Posted April 11, 2015 Posted April 11, 2015 "Yep" Sarin smiled up at him. He took one of the lemons and squeezed a few drops of juice of each of the sandwiches. "There, it's done. I haven't made one of these in years"
pandamonium Posted April 11, 2015 Author Posted April 11, 2015 Andres took the sandwich. He starred at it for a bit, before taking a bite. His eyes widened. "Whoa! That's better than I expected. The lemon juice was a surprise." He finishedchewing and swallowed. "Would you like to wash it down with something?"
Kotorichan Posted April 12, 2015 Posted April 12, 2015 "Yeah, do you have any milk?" Sarin asked before taking a bite of his sandwich. "Mm... It's still just as good as I remember" He murmured, closing his eyes to savor the taste.

He set it on the table besides Sarin and went to grab a couple of glasses. He sat down besides Sarin and pureed both of them some milk. "Here. The sandwich was yummy, but I had already eaten before you came down. I'll just have some milk."
