YaoiOtaku decided to open a thread for people that love music and love to write poems, or simply song lyrics. Giving chance to show your feelings about the current theme and in general - how do you interpret it. We have picked a certain song, based on its melody you have to write down either a poem or a song lyrics. Of course,it's up to you how you name it,as long as you mention once 'The Angels Among Demons' in the content. ℜⓊⓁⒺⓈ ♔ Post only one poem/song lyrics text. ♔ No vulgar words, no racism, no religious, no political and no child/animal abuse themes. ♔ Minimum 4 paragraphs, maximum 8 paragraphs. ♔ Do not use the name of the song we give you as a title to your poem/song lyrics. ♔ The theme of your masterpiece can be about anything,depends on what feelings you get when you listen to the melody. I hope you like it. ^^ Walking in the darkness; my empty soul searches for light Hopelessness starts creeping with every minute passing My desperation grows as I search with all my might Frantically running, helplessly hoping I look around and search without sight What will this determination bring? Will my world finally be bright? And when I found the light, I run forward without a word Thinking to myself "What awaits me in that bright new world?" Running faster, a spark inside me is ignited Thinking of a peaceful life gets me excited I run as fast as my feet could take me And I step out to the world that awaited me But it is not as I expected Screams of agony and hate fly all around me Chaos is reigning and the gentle light becomes blinding All of my hope crumbles and I fall on one knee I want to scream and yell but I find myself crying I was too naive and I hoped for too much happiness When all this world had was demons and heartlessness. I curl up in a ball as I surrender to the emptiness In the midst of my suffering, a hand is held out I look up and feel like I would black out My heart stops beating as I see an angelic face Emitting the gentle light I found in that dark cage of my fears Behind the angel, the demons' voices continued to raise But all I hear is the one sentence ringing in my ears "There would always be angels among demons" I have not found the Angels among the Demons But I have found my Angel a midst these raging lions. Sora Aurakai Posted June 10, 2014 Share Posted June 10, 2014 Here I go :3 (This is not my best, but yeah :3) Angel of Darkness I slowly crawl out of the darkness in a laborious style, Yawning in discomfort as my eyes take awhile. I awake from my horrific slumber, Only to discover I am trapped in another. A nightmare of insidius thoughts, Shadows grasping me in all versions of plots. Although pulled down like gravity, A shining light appears from a fantasy. It's radiant glow purifies me with such extreme intensity, That I am no longer trapped inside this calamity. Evil is strong and relentless, My soul however rendered them powerless. Deep within my spirit lays the gift that shines, To pierce the different hell-spawn kinds. Power beyond our imagination Although you already know, Your smile alone, can bewitch us so. We are the angels among demons, Our love for you has brought us low But we truly have not fallen, For our emotions are pure and true So we will stay beside you, Guard you and protect you, From those who wish to harm you, And even from yourself. Maleficent It began with a girl that had golden eyes She was warm and loving it was no surprise That her esteem was as high as the skies she soars Using her magic to benefit the moor The moor hated humans but the humans haven't realized It wasn't as humans but their greed they despised Like star-crossed lovers, two little beings meet They liked each other, they meet in cold and in heat Likened to a flower; a bud that blooms Love that appeared like forest floor mushrooms She grew tall and slender and blessed in beauty The man fell for her more like it was his duty But humans are humans; greed overpowered love He was prepared to kill her when push comes to shove However how much he was prepared to kill her He was unable to so he stole something from her She's been betrayed, harbored bitterness and vengeance The moor greatly indebted to her swore allegiance A name that denotes harmfully malicious She lived up to it not being pretentious It's not that she doesn't understand love Or kindness or the joy of helping others She's just lost something that's why she became mean She's done battle; has been called a Serpentine queen She has been dubbed as the Mistress of all evil But you should know she's not senselessly evil Circumstances made her a villain and a hero She finally listened to it: her super-ego I must tell you, "She's not what you assume she is." You chase him from his home You rip his wings apart, He has fallen down from heaven And now where he lies? Where is this monster? This angel in disguise? Is he a very good liar, Or is that what ya want? Is he the predator Or have you made him victim? Are his sins that grave? Is he truly insane? Angel among the demons, Crying is the sky For it has lost its guardian Prey to vile lies! Sorrow fills the heavens Where your kingdom lies Mad are those who blame you For their ignorance.
