[TD]Xia Bernando grew up in a small village, near the

outskirt of North Kingdom. His childhood though was

pretty different from the one of the other village children.

At the age of 17, Xia found his way into the Forbidden Forest with his younger brother. Without noticing they were in the land of the Midnight Gods.

Of course, his little brother begged him to go back, but for malchance of theirs, Xia was a curious one by nature. And that single moment of his life cost him a never ending regret. They were attacked by a mythological monster known as Z'ilinous Wolf. Legends spoke for his thirst for blood and the poisonous saliva, one bite - one way ticket to Hell.

His younger brother couldn't keep up with the dash, tripping over to be attacked by the wolf. But for good or bad Xia stood his way, sacrificing his shoulder. The digging fangs of the Z'ilinous tore his skin, while his gaze took a last goodbye with his younger brother.

A mystery to all is how he managed to kill the beast and how he became the beast himself. Long forgotten in that land of Midnight Gods, forsaken by humanity for over one hundred years.

[TD]As soon as the midnight welcomes the moon, Xia turns into Z'ilinous.

In his castle, there is one single room that none of his servants are allowed to enter. A room that no one has seen what it holds within.

A few knocks were made onto the huge door that looked rather like a gate for the entrance of that beautiful, yet dark castle.

Xia was drinking his dry, red wine in his room when one of the servants rushed to him.

- Master! We have a visitor! Shall we let him in?

Bernando averted his beautiful and mysterious eyes to the servant for a small swing of wine glass, the aroma was pretty strong. He loved that wine fragrance and the crimson substance that reminded him of blood.

- Whatever, just don't let him bother me.

- Understood! - the servant rushed out as running with small and quiet steps to downstairs, to welcome the visitor.

- I am sorry for the wait! Do you need something to eat or to drink? May be a shower? - it was rare to have visitors, so the young servant was excited over the late visit of the male.

Takano looked at the servant "no thanks I just need to wait out the storm if that is ok with you" Takano ruffled his dusty hair and shook out shards of glass that had gotten in to his hair. Takano then moved in and rubbed his arms it was cold and he was in his work outfit which consisted of a tank and a lose and light pair of pants.

It was close to midnight and the storm didn't seem to calm down even one a bit. The cursed prince rustled off bed, his black robe running after his slender and firm body. His long strands of hair brushing against his back as the silver gaze of his got saddened. Another night, another torture. He felt his blood getting ready to boil, the thirst to kill. The madness of his curse. For the sanity of his, he did well abandoning the world and hunting animals. Each time he found himself in the morning, bare and nude, he would recall the frightened eyes of his little brother - a reason to hate himself.

The room was pretty dark, only the flashes of lightnings gave a small illumination of the agony of his. His right knee bent down as the pain in chest tore him; so it was about time. The slender fingers grew sharp and dark claws, as he lowered down. Gasping and painting, he would always sweat the life out of him. No one would get used to such a tearing pain. Especially from the transformation into Z'ilinous. The Midnight God was bigger than a normal wolf. Everything from the outside to the inside looked different. It was normal to feel a tearing pain when your insides were switched to something monstrous. Barely able to stand on his already transforming feet, he opened the window. No way to stay in the castle. But for his damned luck, he stumbled because of his agonized pain and broke it with elbow. The only way to dodge any further mess was to jump out, beside that full transformation got only a few seconds left to it.

Although transformed into something fearsome, Xia looked beautiful even as beast. His sad silver eyes could be even noticed under the spell of the monster he became. The rain whipped his silky fur as he got just fine on his four legs. The moon was nowhere to be found, so he lowered his gaze down.

Meanwhile in the castle the servant got worried how to deceive the visitor that it was probably a cat that made such a loud noise.

- Ahahaha, it's probably the master's cat...ahahaha... - he looked away, frowning. It was visible that he was worried, but not because afraid. He knew very well about the curse and what pain it brought to his master. The servant threw a glance over the window, he hoped that the storm won't hurt his lord.

- A-anyway! Why not you rest until the storm pass, Mister?

Takano shook his head "no i will wait up to see if the storm lets up anytime soon" Takano wasn't to sure about resting there and for him being unsure made it hard for him to relax. Takano looked around then and wondered why the place was so dark. Takano returned his gaze to the fire and pulled out a knife he that he always carried and proceeded to carve a piece of wood. after nearly two hours he had carved out the best and a little boy standing there his hand on the beasts leg. Little did Takano know that he had carved the beasts younger brother. it was a legend in his village and he loved to carve it in different ways but this was his favorite

After the servant gave up on trying to convince Takano, to go rest or at least eat, he headed back to his room. Each servant had a room, but of course in a certain wing of the castle. Xia disliked to be bothered by noise especially during the day when he is actually resting. Thus the so called cursed prince had a special wing where his servants could rest.

However, to rest and take a break - such things were no where to be found in Xia's life. The rain whipping his tired and lowered back proved it. The midnight monster was dripping wet from the fur that got showered by the cold rain, his big paws as a prove to be a Midnight God in the forbidden forest powerfully stepped their ground. The muddy yard wasn't a place where he could roam, beside that the thirst for blood was to arise. He had to enter the forest.

//GET AWAY FROM ME!//

A flash of his memory ran his mind. It was when his brother rejected him for who he was, a monster. Although Xia could very well control his urges when in his beast form, his brother couldn't accept a monster being for his brother.

"And from all people I met in my life...and from all wounds I received during the years.... how merciless own blood could be...", his mind bothered from the loneliness. He lived enough. He had enough. Of course the curse granted him immortality, but what was immortal life without the people you loved? A sad howl roamed his muzzle, he stood on a cliff within the forest.

Hearing strange noises Takano got up and headed out of the castle to investigate what was going on. Takano looked around and decided to find out who or what was going on. Takano then moved in to the forest wondering what was going on. He had grabbed a coat so that he didn't freeze but he continued to look around his natural curiosity getting the better of him

There. There was unique fragrance in the woods, he knew he wasn't alone with the other beasts. Yes, that forest hid other dangers. But when you were a Midnight God no one would dare to stand your way. But yet, would it be the same for a human? More or less, one to wonder what was more dangerous - to bump into some beast or to bump into the Z'ilinous wolf, Xia.

A jump off the cliff, he landed in the mud. The weather was still that sore, the winds supported with whips the rain. A growl roamed his mouth, his fangs showing as if hatred danced upon his muzzle.

"A human."

Takano looked around wondering where some of the strange sounds were coming from and then rubbed his arms the coat wasn't as warm and he should have grabbed a heavier one. Takano would not make the same mistake twice and as soon as he could he was going to return home and just go to the wood cutter for his wood rather then go looking for it himself. Takano wandered further in to the forest his eyes moving over the woods as if searching for something to explain the nosie

He hid in between the darkest corners of the forest, watching and observing his guest. What worried him was that other monsters would also track the human's scent. He might be a beast, but deep inside he managed to secure his human nature.

Letting his silver gaze dance upon the wondering male's body, Xia crouched along.

The black wolf averted his head to side, noticing that something else moved in between the woods. So another monster joined the observing, or could it be that the other was to attack the beauty before his eyes?

How troublesome, not only he was thirsting for blood but now he had to deal with a dilemma - to save or not to save?

Takano continued to walk around he could tell that something was in the forest and would like to get a good look at what but knew he would have to be careful. Spotting a tree near but Takano climbed up in to it and looked around trying to see if he could spot anything or not

As soon as Takano made his way up on tree, he was like an open prey to any predator in the forest. Xia shifted eyes in sharp shape, his muzzle bared fangs.

"Great. He just welcomed the forest nymphs..."

With a beautiful melody roaming around the forest, the forest nymphs had to hypnotize Takano. Or at least try to. But these nymphs weren't so nice, not at all. As soon as they had their prey hypnotized, they would eat it. Xia knew so much.

The Z'ilinous crouched closer to the tree, his dark fur blending well with the darkness. When a storm flash illuminated the whole forest, Takano could actually see the monsters coming his way along with the black wolf. But he could really understand that Xia didn't want to hurt him?

when the lightning flashed and Takano saw what was around him he fell out of the tree and landed on something furry. he hadn't looked to much before falling so he hadn't seen the wolf standing near him. Takano moved to get off of what ever he had just landed on and moved slowly heading back in the direction he had come knowing it would be safe to be there then anywhere else

Of all things he didn't expect to have the boy land on his back. The Z'ilinous had his legs a bit bent, but muscles guided perfectly fine the weight of the male.

Right after he stood back when Takano moved, Xia nodded down and up his muzzle trying to catch on the current situation. He knew that the male didn't even have a slight idea of what was around them. Nymphs were cowardly awaiting for their chance to suck the life out of the human.

The wolf noticed how the other moved right into their trap. Curses for not having human's voice right now. What was left up in his 'paws' were two possibilities - to eat the human himself , or to murder the nymphs. Either of them wasn't to his likes.

"Damn it. Stupid human..."

His silver eyes ran across the woods, catching a few closing by nymphs. So it be, he lowered his head, low growls made their way to his throat. The wolf was to fight the nymphs. Poor him, but the lack of good meal and the lack of good sleep. He was sure that he wouldn't manage it without a scratch.

But first he had to scare the human enough, so he would run out the forest. A howl.

As soon as Xia's beautiful howl echoed around the forest, all creatures paused. Low or high ranked, it was a sign that someone angered the Midnight God. On other hand, nymphs couldn't care less. It was rare to have human wandering around.

Takano backed up slowly and then turned and shot off back to the castle where he hunkered down until morning. Takano wasn't one to go exploring when it was dark but this one time something had gotten his interest that was why he had gone. Takano sighed as he looked at the fire in front of him and then laid back and eventually fell asleep.

Takano later woke to the sun hitting his face and he knew it was safe for him to leave and head home. Getting up Takano stretched and then set the carvings he had done on the couch side table. there were several and he knew that who ever owned the place could use them

The night was hard for Xia. Not of his calmest, to be said. The Midnight God had a rough time with the forest nymphs, having himself wounded badly. But at least was it a reason for him to feel more like a human, if saving a human? What a foolish thought of his. The male stumbled to side, having no clothes as entered the castle from back doors. His whole body covered in dirt and blood, his face pale. Ah,how needed rest. Could he even manage to take a bath?

Blurry thoughts rushed his mind as he tried to make his way upstairs although his body was completely exhausted.

Takano sat in the room and looked at the carving he had done wondering if he should leave them or not since he had yet to see any of the staff he would wait till her had and then he would make a decision once he talked to them so that he didn't get in trouble for leaving something there when the master of the house may not want it there in the first pace

His arm rested on the side of the wall near the stairs.

- What a hard night... - he mumbled under nose before he caught from the corner of his eye a wandering figure in the hall. The boy seemed kind of familiar. Not to mention his scent. Xia wrinkled the space between his brows, forming a frown. Come on,really now. The human was in his home?

- Don't tell me he is the guest...

With a growl from within, Xia tried his best to go upstairs as quiet as possible. If the other was to see him right now,all covered in blood, who knows what other rumors were to come.

- Great...

Takano eventually spotted one of the maids from the night before and asked her what he should do with the carvings since the storm had cleared up he knew he should be getting home but he didn't have room for them and really needed to get back to work or the villages would start to freak out and come looking for him

  • 3 weeks later...

For his luck not, the blood left some trace after his steps. However, because he was not in any condition to stay on his legs he stumbled to side, tripping over some vase. What a mess, it crashed so loudly. His silver eyes moved to side, hoping that he wouldn't be noticed. Or at least that the maid wouldn't decide to come his way with the guest.

Takano waited since she had told him to stay put while she went and asked the lord of the house what he wanted to do with the carvings. Takano waited since he didn't want anyone getting yelled at because he had wandered around where he wasn't welcome at the moment. the maid walked over to where she had heard the crash and rushed to her masters side and helped him to his room so that he could relax and rest "sir our guest is asking about some carvings he did and wanted to know what he should do with them"
