Hello there my fellow fujoshis and fudanshis !! 

I'm back with another BLCD !! This time it's actually a more recent one which is unlike me lolol But Kawanishi Kengo is in this work, and I haven't heard him in a while, so I decided to buy it since the plot seemed interesting (plus it's omegaverse, so why would I not be interested) :D Not to mention Satou Takuya is also in this work, and he always serves hehe

 

 

CONTEXT:

There's a summary provided on other sites but to put it in a nutshell, the setting is in Kabukicho! We have our uke, Usami Kyoji, who's an alpha as well as a police officer. He takes his duties very seriously and is investigating a case called "Burst," which is a mysterious drug that can induce heat like symptoms no matter what your second gender is. In order to solve this case, Kyoji needs informants as well as spies, and this is where the seme comes in !!

The seme, Ichinose Taiga, who is also an alpha and ex-host, makes money by being an influencer. He actually used to live with Kyoji many years ago, but they eventually split up due to Kyoji having to move somewhere else for work purposes. They practically lost all contact until the "Burst" case came up; Kyoji thought Taiga might be of help and ended up messaging Taiga mid-live to meet up somewhere lol Taiga, who had feelings for him for a very long time, obviously couldn't refuse and decided to contribute to the mission/case.

But when these two meet up and have a chat, Taiga serves coffee to Kyoji (with A LOT of sugar, since Kyoji has a sweet tooth); and once Kyoji takes a sip, he ends up going into heat! Kyoji was confused, but he wasn't the only one lmao Taiga had no idea that the sugar cubes he added had the drug they were looking for in them !!

Now that Kyoji realized that he consumed "Burst," he's more determined than ever to bring this investigation to an end; but first he needs help with his situation and that points to only one person 👀👀

 

 

OTHER NOTES:

I think if you take a certain amount of the drugs, your second gender automatically changes into an omega! So in this work Kyoji was originally an alpha but becomes an omega later on

Hihiii !! So far I’ve only found 2 eng translated chapters but it’s been really long since the last chapter 😭😭

I tried finding the raws too but I couldn’t so I ended up just roughly translating in my head as I listened to the tracks 🥲

Aaaaaa ofccc it's my pleasure !! :D And it's my first time actually talking about my thoughts on a work so it might not sound that interesting lolol I'll also put them in the spoiler section so that I can talk about the work freely hehe

So as I said in the post I bought this post because I thought the plot was interesting! And when I listened to the entire tracks I wasn't disappointed quality-wise lol There were plentiful of actions and drama in this work and a good happy ending :D

The only thing that kind of keeps lingering in my mind is that I wish this story was longer 🥲 While the plot itself was interesting, to fit everything in just 6 tracks was definitely a bit too tight I think 😅 At one moment you're having a casual talk with your old roommate, and then all of a sudden we're at the part where we're chasing after the criminal, and then we have the reconciliation and becoming mates stage; I think if there were at least 12 tracks we could've gotten a bit more context on more things/people 🤔

But technically speaking the way this work was wrapped up wasn't too bad compared to other ones that I've encountered! The voice actors definitely carried everything lolol Anyways, that's kind of what I thought after listening to this work !! (I do apologize if this wasn't interesting, but I couldn't really think of anything considering how short this story was ㅠㅠ)
