I have too many "dirty"/personal secrets so picking one that is appropriate will not be easy... I guess one I could share is partly how I discovered Yaoi and found this forum. I was going through a rough patch and recalled a Yaoi I had watched several years back that I didn't enjoy much. The reason why I attempted for look for more of its kind was due to me having a connection with the subject matter. Haru Wo Daiteita lead me to Sekai Ichi Hatsukoi (this forum popped up a million times during my search... Bit the bullet and joined eventually). I have never been in a relationship so watching these Yaoi animes was fun. I've always known what is "romantic" and "kind" and watching Yaoi was like putting my imagination into "real" situations (if that makes sense?). Bit of a private "secret" to reveal but its okay.
