Ridd Posted April 1, 2013 Share Posted April 1, 2013 Have you got a "writing help"-section here? I mean a section, where the users could write their own "guides" for ex. About how to make interesting characters, or about what mistakes a writer/roleplayer should avoid when writing etc. If you don't have one, has anyone ever suggested about making one? Or have you thought about making one here? And where should I post a "writing guide", if I were to write one? I think it would be cool if there was one, so that the "newbie" writers could learn what mistakes they should avoid doing, and how to add some "spice" to their stories. Even the advanced writers could learn some new tricks from there. I think that it would be very helpful to have one. If you already have one, then could you please send me the link so that I can share my bit of a knowledge about writing with the others as well? Thank you about your answer in beforehand, and sorry if you already have a section for those guides already. I could say that it's because I'ven't been on the forum for a year, and there are lots of new things that I haven't checked out yet. But... The truth is that I'm so lazy that I just can't bring myself to look that section for more than 30 minutes... XD - - - Updated - - - Gawsh!! I could make a sticky thread in the section of the forum where we want the guide to be displayed. Should it be in RP section or the fanfiction section? In my opinion, the rp-section would be better, since also guides like "roleplaying for newbies" etc. could be put in. And I guess that more people play rp's than write stories. Am I correct? But that's only my opinion, and there can be reasons why to put it to the writers'-section a well. So it's up to you. Plus thank you for the help!
