The Beatles, John Coltrane, Norah Jones (daughter of Ravi Shankar) and more have been inspired by it. Various hip-hop and pop artists have sampled it. It is unique to it's origin. The classical music of India has been dated as far back as 1000 BC and some of these ancient tunes can still be heard on records and radio today. Dev 15 Posted June 14, 2013 Awww there aren't many posts here I don't normally listen to Indian (Hindi) music much but THIS song is one of my favourites: I like the dance, modern hindi music used in the Bollywood films than the slower stuff. There is an item song that is a little old, cant remember the movie and I really liked it. The woman was dressed in dancer clothes in a bar and she had very long wavy black hair.
