You know... This is one of rare times I can say: I like Midorin! I'm not fond of Midorikawa Hikaru, but HE IS REALLY COOL HERE! That vibe of an oldest colleague, who is half in love with Omoteya Hikaru, half acts like Omoteya's older brother... It was pleasant to hear! The more I hear him, the more I support Shinobu, lol, he is the best anyway. But spin-off about the King with Midorin as main character would be nice.

Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum, nice to meet you all. I've been a BL lover for many years now. I couldn’t say which is my favourite because there are so many I could mention, but I can say that I particularly love Japanese works. In fact, I found this forum precisely because I’m trying to learn the language as well, and I gather that there are projects in Japanese here too. My English isn’t great, so please excuse any mistakes. I can’t wait to start reading.

The name is Reverie. I’ve never really tried a forum Like this before, but I figured that I would at least try. A bit about me: I spend my time usually reading, drawing when I can work up the energy, and playing video games. RPGs are my favorite genre. And I dabble in TTRPGs too. Asta hugged his mom tightly as she showered him with forehead kisses. "Ack! Mom--" [ “Oh, my baby—my beautiful, smart boy,”] He chuckled. He could see the tears in her eyes, as she congratulated him. "Thanks mom." His voice soft and full of love. He hugged her again before turning his attention to Leon. He had been waiting patiently on the side lines for his turn. Even tho he was 'undercover' he still came to see him. He bit his lip as he pulled down his sunglasses just enough to meet his gaze... God he loved those pretty blue eyes of his. [“Congratulations, You really worked hard.”] Asta quickly closed the distance between them, hugging Leon tighly. "I...i couldn't have done it without you.." He muttered. [ “I’m proud of you too.”] Asta squeezed him, hugging him a little too long before letting go. His eyes shining brightly. That light he once had when they first started dating...had finally returned. [“…So, are you kidnapping my boy right away?”] Asta turned hearing his mothers voice. "Mom, come on..." " What? " " We talked about this." Asta fell silent as Leon adjusted his cap, a faint blush on his face. [ “The car’s ready and packed, we can head out whenever you and the others want. But there’s no rush.”] Asta nodded. He was excited for this trip...A beach get away was exactly what he needed. He turned to his mom, and hugged her again. "Its only for a few days, and I'll text you when we get there." " You better young man." She muttered, turning to Leon. "And you make sure he does too." Asta laughed, nudging his mom. "We will...I promise.." -------------- For a moment...everything was perfect... Sora was kissing him back...not carrying about the people around them. When it ended, he gently placed Sora down, but kept him close, leaning in for another kiss. "Lets see it--" He whispered. He knew Sora worked hard for this diploma, that it mattered to him.... and if it mattered to Sora.. it mattered to him. [ “Sora.”] Fang looked up as a voice cut threw the crowd, and suddenly Sora's demeanor immediately changed. He pulled away from him, creating space between them as a man, a woman, and child approached them. He wasn't quite sure who they were, but clearly Sora knew them...so he simply watched the scene unfold....and boy...did it unfold. He could feel Sora's discomfort...his irritation and disappointment. But what seemed to really set the human off was the womens comment. [ "How can you show such a disgusting display out in public.”] Fang had heard it, clear as day...but didn’t react or respond. He kept his eyes on Sora...he learned a long time ago to let Sora face his own battles... [“Sora, I think you should be more mindful of how your behavior effects others.”] Fang could only assume that this man was Sora's father. They shared a suddle resemblance and similar scent. Sora didn't talk much about his family, and he rarely had anything positive to say about his father. From what he told him, it was clear that they didn't have a normal father-son relationship. To his suprise Sora was being tame, more cordial then he ever expected. Dispite the fact that he just graduated college, and completed a major stepping stone and accomplishment in his life, his father lacked enthusiasm, and didn't congratulate him. That irritated Fang. It seemed Sora was ready to leave, saying that he had people waiting for him and that it was 'good' to see them. A obvious lie. [ “Oh no—you don’t get to walk away like that. How can you be so disrespectful? Speaking to your father like that. After everything he’s done for you?”] Fang bit his lip. This women...she couldn't be Sora's biological mother...they didn't share any distinct features...so a stepmother ? She was starting to draw attention. Too much attention, as she raised her voice. [ “And what exactly has he done?” ] He was hoping Sora wouldn't take the bait. That he'd simply walk away before more issues occured. He sighed. ( Sora....) And just like that, a bickering match had begun. Sora and his step mother arguing like spoiled children. Each one raising there voice to over power the other, and cutting each other off before anything relevant could be said. Fang wasn't suprised, in fact he expected this outcome...Sora was a firecracker after all...stubborn and hot headed at times. [“So don’t stand there and pretend like I owe my life to you. I don’t.”] He glanced over at Asta and Leon...the two of them were also watching this dramatic scene play out. Perhaps now was the right time to intervene. He quickly stood between Sora and his step mother, becoming a wall. " Alright...I think that's enough..." He turned his attention to Sora's father. " Today is not about you, or you." He glared at the women. " You've made your pathetic entrance and have out stayed your welcome. " He pointed towards the child. " Wouldn't want her to get the wrong idea..." He turned and grabbed Sora's hand firmly. " We have somewhere else to be, surely you of all people can understand~" He smirked at Sora's father, taking a small jab at him. Sora's father wasn't present in Sora's life, always making time and excuses to be anywhere else then at home being a father. __________________________ "S-sora.." Asta bit his lip. He had overheard the conversation between him and his step mother...there arguing was kind of hard to miss. "Sweetheart- are you alright?" His mother gave Sora a loving hug. If Sora's parents weren't going to congratulate him then she would. She had more than enough love to give him. " Screw them, " she whispered in his ear. " I am so proud of you dear. " Asta's mom had always treated Sora as one of her own... She was the type of mother who could love any child. A women with a heart of gold. " He's fine..." Fang ruffled Sora's hair, knowing he was tough and probably didn't want to be babied. He'd comfort him later but right now he'd give him space. He turned to Leon. " Who's driving first.."
