Fang chuckled hearing Soras comment about Cota. That little fox was definitely a handful. When he had kissed Sora's neck, he had done so to remind the human that he was there, it was a tender moment, sure. But also a moment of pure weakness. [ "Is that one of your abilities too? That sort of conversation never really presented itself, and since Sora's family wasn't an active component in his life, he had no interest in learning about it. Fang only cared about things if they were important to Sora. Like Asta for example. If Sora hadn't asked him to save his friend back then, he wouldn't have intervened. [ “I know your story. A small smile on his lips. Fang didn't care about Sora's past. He was perfectly fine with never learning about it. Because if he had things his way, he would of never shown Sora his memories or past. He would of never known about Aurora...or the many people he killed. The monster he use to be...because quiet frankly that wasn't who he was now. But for some reason, humans yearn to know stuff like that. It brings a feeling of closeness that he couldn't quite comprehend. The bond he shared with Sora was more than enough...but since Sora was a human, he couldn't really experience or feel what Fang was feeling. What he felt for Sora was much more deeper than human love... [“I don’t mind telling you. Later, I mean… if you want to hear it. Just don’t expect anything dramatic. It’s not a big story or anything.”] Fang gently ran his hand through Sora's hair. "I think I've gotten better at listening. " His said softly, and he had, but only thanks to Sora. He was alot more dacile around him. When Sora told him that he felt lighter and that it felt like his presence alone was healing him, he pulled him into a soft hug. [“Thank you, You’re amazing.”] Deep down Fang knew Sora's words were sincere. He could sense it, feel it. This boy was his one and only true weakness, the only thing he'd never hesitant to love, rescue, or protect. To him..Sora was the amazing one. He didn't fully understand what Sora was going through but he could sympathize. Growing up Asta learned that it was always the little things that sometimes made the biggest impact. So buying Sora's favorite bag of chips was simple. It cost less than five dollars and briefly brought a smile to his face. Thats all that mattered to him. [“Thanks, man, I thought you sold your Switch?”] Asta glared at his friend. Before the incident Asta wasn't much of a gaming person, but he needed something to do while he was bedridden. He had sucked so bad in the beginning that he quickly lost interest. It was only when Sora played with him, that he genuinely started to have fun....until they went aginest each other. Then he would lose and spend the next 10 minutes sulking. " Shut it...I will take those chips back." He hissed. He had told Sora he was going to get rid of it awhile back cause he kept losing to Sora, but he had only said that in the heat of the moment. Dispite all that, he was glad he didn't, because now it was coming in handy. For the rest of the car ride they played together, and even Leon joined in on the fun. As it turned out, Leon was somehow even worse at gaming than Asta was. He laughed as he beat his boyfriend three times in a row! ____________________________ The sun was doing something unfair to Sora's face. They had finally arrived at there destination, and it turned out to be far more beautiful then a simple beach cabin, but Sora wasn't drawn to the house or interior, but rather the view of the sunset and ocean. It was the first thing he gravitated towards so naturally, he followed suite. He stood beside Sora on the deck, watching the sun go down. The sunset reflected off Sora's piercings, making them shine. Sora took his hand. ["This is an amazing view."] Fang looked out at the ocean. Then back at Sora. "Yeah," he said quietly. "It is." He wasn't necessarily talking about the water. He smiled softly watching his boyfriend pull out his phone to take a few pictures. His gaze drifting down to where their fingers were intertwined. He could of let go to take better pictures, but he didn't.... The breeze picked up, carrying salt and the faint smell of something green growing nearby. On the way here Fang had popped a few pills into his mouth. A gift from Vanitas. They would dull his senses, allowing him to tolerate the smell of the ocean. Otherwise this trip would be nearly impossible for him. He turned his attention back to the ocean, really taking in the view. He would of never gotten this close to a beach had it not been for Sora ...it was common knowledge that werewolves weren't beach goers. The smell of the sea was too overpowering. Causing nose bleeds, headaches, and nausea. A natural weakness to his kind. With time he could probably grow a natural tolerance, adapt and overcome...but there's wasn't enough time for that. ( The things I do for this kid...) [ "Did you settle on a room or should we go pick one out for ourselves?"] Sora's question caught his attention, he turned, looking inside the house, he had swept the layout with the kind of automatic assessment that came from years of never quite relaxing in new spaces. Stairs. Exits. Windows. The bedrooms were upstairs, three of them by the look of it, and one downstairs, a smaller one near the back. "There's one downstairs. Faces the water. " His thumb pressed lightly against Sora's knuckles. "Figured you'd want that one." Because Fang had been paying attention. Because Fang had noticed the way Sora's breath had caught when he first saw the ocean from the car. Because Sora was someone who needed light in the mornings—needed to see the sky—even if he'd never said it out loud. He was more of a morning person then he was. "Come on, let's go unpack.." _______________________________ Asta couldn't contain the big smile on his face, he had pulled some strings, and gotten a huge discount. One of the doctor's his mother works with heard about his graduation trip, and had been rooting for him since his recovery, and well...the rest is history. While Sora and Fang checked out the back porch, Asta was exploring the house. Walking into the kichen and downstairs bathroom. He was glad that everyone seemed happy with the place. "H-hey! L-leon!" Now he was standing in the upstairs hallway, heart pounding, trying to remember how words worked. ["Sorry—I'm too impatient."] Leon ran a hand through his hair, Asta wanted to be annoyed, but it was nearly impossible when Leon was looking at him like that! [ "Maybe it's the air… or the long drive. I don't know. I just feel lighter out here. More at ease."] "Y-you almost gave me a heart attack," Asta muttered, but there was no heat in his tone. He frowned. But seeing Leon's grin, he knew his lover wasn't sorry. It was only when Leon told him how awesome this trip was going to be because he was with him, that it all truly hit him. Leon...was excited? So excited, that he was showing Asta another side of himself. Who knew Leon could be so...giddy? Asta's face got hotter. He looked away, avoiding his gaze. "Yeah," he said quietly. "It is." Leon was already moving down the hallway, gesturing at rooms, talking about fires and barbecues and texting his mom. Asta followed half a step behind, listening more to the sound of Leon's voice than the actual words. ( He's...so happy.) "Y-yeah.." The realization settled in his chest. Leon was genuinely happy. Not just pretending, not just going along with things to make Asta feel better. Asta had been a little worried about this trip. About rooms and dynamics and whether Fang and Leon would get along. But standing here, watching Leon poke his head into a bedroom and say: "This one has a skylight, Asta." with the kind of excitement usually reserved for children on Christmas morning… it made something inside his chest loosen. "Okay," he giggled, following Leon into the room with the skylight. The bed was large, covered in a quilt that smelled faintly of lavender, and the window faced the ocean. Leon had gravitated towards the master bedroom, and attached to it was a bathroom with a large granite tub that could easily fit four people. It looked more like a jacuzzi then a bathtub. Asta bit his lip, as a lewd thought crossed his mind....what were the chances of Leon and him...being able to take a bath together? ___________________________ [ 1 Hour Later ] The crackle of the fire was so captivating that Asta nearly got lost in its beauty. "It smells really good... " Asta said. "He cooks at home," Sora informed him, not looking away from his boyfriend. Which was true. Fang learned how to cook for Sora's sake...and his cooking skills have been improving ever since. While Fang flipped burgers, and grilled chicken skewers with veggies, it gave Sora, Asta, and Leon a chance to socialize. But Fang could feel Sora's eyes on him. He always could—like a warmth against his skin, a weight he'd grown accustomed to. Even though Fang wasn't super enthusiastic about cooking, he had volunteered himself...anything to make Sora's life easier, plus he didn't want Leon burning their food. He had went from eating raw meat to home cooked meals all because of Sora. He placed the cooked food to the side, and called them over. "Come eat.." @M-jow

His arms tightened around Haruhi, grounding, steady. “I know it’s not easy. Watching him grow… it’s a privilege, but it’s also the hardest part. Letting him change, letting him become his own person.” He exhaled softly, resting his cheek against Haruhi. “But you’re doing so well. Better than you think. Don’t doubt yourself.” His voice dropped, more intimate, more earnest. “We all love you. We depend on you. You’re the one who holds us together, the heart of all of this.” He pulled Haruhi just a little closer, as if to make sure his words were felt as much as heard. “You’re a devoted parent, and… the most amazing person in my world.” A small pause, then, softer still: “Even when it feels overwhelming, I’m here. I’ll always support you.”
