Asher caught himself smiling slightly when Kaito walked out of the bathroom. Inside, he felt a quiet sense of satisfaction that Kaito had put on his shirt, even though it didn’t quite fit. To Asher, it still looked good on him, and he liked the idea that Kaito was carrying something of his. Even if, deep down, he knew it was a small, almost petty way of leaving a mark on him. Breakfast took place in the large hall as usual, but the early hour left it noticeably quieter. The long tables that would later be filled with chatter and movement were mostly empty, save for a handful of warriors from this mornings guard shift. No young pups or regular wolves were typically awake at this time—especially not on a weekend. Unless there was scheduled training or assigned duties, most took the rare opportunity to sleep in. Logan and Missy joined their table just as Kaito and Asher sat down with their food. Missy appeared far more at ease than she had the night before. It showed in the way her shoulders were relaxed and how easily she spoke, her tone lighter, more natural. “So… what are your plans for today?” she asked, glancing between them. [“Asher’s going to show me the training grounds. If you want to see me kick some well-trained Alpha ass, you’re welcome to come watch.”] Logan raised an eyebrow at his brother. “He’s just gotten here, and you already want to make him run for the hills?” he teased, though there was an undercurrent of concern in his voice as he looked toward Kaito. Turning fully to him, Logan continued more seriously, “As an Alpha, he’s not allowed to bully you—especially not when you don’t yet have a defined status in the pack. But…” he exhaled softly, “…my brother doesn’t always realize when he’s pushing training too far. For him, a fifty-kilometer run is a light warm-up. We’ve had more than a few complaints about his methods.” Asher frowned, clearly unimpressed. “That’s a bit dramatic, don’t you think?” Logan didn’t respond immediately, but the faint smirk tugging at his lips said enough. Asher his tone shifting, annoyed his brother was trying to make him sound like a awful guy to his mate. “I'm not planning to go hard on him,” he said. “Don’t make me sound like a monster. I’ve never pushed anyone beyond what I know they can handle.” He paused briefly, as if choosing his words more carefully when he looked at Kaito. “You’ve only just come into this,” he continued. “I don’t expect you to have the same strength or stamina as I do. Today is just… light training. Getting a feel for things. I’ll explain what you can do as we go— and what you can’t, what you might struggle with.” He explained. “I’d like to go through the formal introduction with your wolf as well, but if we can’t, we’ll have to wait until the full moon.” Of course, he had no intention of treating Kaito the same way he treated his elite warriors. Kaito was his mate. If anything, that made him more careful to planed more around him and his needs. He wanted to make a good impression, and help him understand this new part of himself without overwhelming him. He was even preparing to maybe get a few bruises on Kaito’s first tries. But Asher rather want that than leave Kaito with some other pack member. Logan watched him for a moment, a faint, skeptical smile lingering, but chose not to comment. Probably a wise decision, pushing further might have earned him a “friendly” sparring session.. something he wouldn’t be having any saying in. And Asher would have called it a demonstration. Instead, Logan turned back to Kaito. “I can’t come,” he said. “I’ve got alpha business to deal with, and later I need to pick up our parents from the airport.” Missy nodded. “Same here. I’m going to prepare for dress shopping with my friends. We are picking out bridesmaids dresses today.” She smiled apologetically. “So I’ll have to sit this one out too.” Asher inclined his head, though there was a flicker of relief in his expression. He didn’t argue with them. In truth, he prefered it this way. Just the two of them. He glanced at Kaito, studying him for a moment. Maybe Kaito was nervous about the two of them being alone?.. Maybe.. but wouldn’t that be silly? Hadn’t he Julius proved he wasn’t gonna do anything to him just this night by sleeping in the same bed together? Asher didn't really know what to think but he could try and make it easier for him. "Usally there are a few people around on the training grounds who train privatly. So if you beat me the news is likely to get spread around before we even retur for lunch" He said as he encourage Kaito to eat his fill. "You should eat a bit more you'll need the energy" Asher watched Kaito as he ate his fill, without making it obvious he was watchinghim. There was still something careful in the way Kaito moved, something observant—like he was constantly measuring his surroundings, weighing what this new world meant for him. It made sense. Being thrown into werewolf life, into this, wasn’t something anyone adjusted to overnight. Asher pushed his plate aside once he was done and stood. “We should go before it gets too crowded,” he said, his tone casual, though there was a quiet intent behind it. He didn’t want distractions. Asher said bye to Logan and Missy then waited for Kaito to join him patiently. The walk to the training grounds was brisk but not rushed. Morning air clung cool against his skin, carrying the faint scent of damp earth and pine. Asher kept his pace steady, deliberately a notch slower than his natural stride, considerate of Kaito beside him. When they reached the clearing, it was mostly as he expected. A few figures scattered across the wide expanded space, some sparring, others running drills alone. The soft thud of impact, the scrape of boots against packed dirt, low voices carried across the space. Asher stepped forward and turned to face Kaito, his attention sharpening. “This,” he said, gesturing loosely around them, “this os a safe space, where you start understanding what you are.” Asher started of pretty much like how he would when introducing to the pups. He took a few steps closer but not quite closing the distance fully betweenthem. Just enough. “Your strength, your speed—it’s not just slightly better than before. It’s… exponential. And if you don’t learn control early, you’ll either hurt yourself…” a brief pause, “…or someone else.” His gaze flicked briefly over Kaito, assessing. “Let’s start simple.” Asher reached out, taking Kaito’s wrist, not roughly, but firmly enough to guide it. He positioned Kaito’s palm flat against his chest, adjusting the angle with his fingers lightly around Kaito wrist. His warm hand against Kaito's skin felt steading. “Push against me,” he ordered more than suggested. When resistance came, Asher matched it easily—but his focus wasn’t on overpowering. It was on making the other feel it. The shift in pressure, the unrefined strength behind it. “See that?” he murmured, stepping closer without thinking, his voice lowering slightly. “You’re already using more force than you realize.” He adjusted again, this time slower, more deliberate. His hand slid from wrist to forearm, guiding the motion, correcting posture. The proximity wasn’t lost on him—not when he could feel the heat of Kaito’s body, catch the subtle shift in his breathing. Asher exhaled quietly, forcing his attention back to the lesson. He slowly let go of Kaito. “Next is speed.” He stepped back, creating space, though the absence of touching him felt… noticeable. “Try to touch me.” Asher barely seemed to move at first, but as Kaito tried to reach for him he moved back fast but only just enough to avoid contact. Each time Kaito got closer, Asher adjusted. Kaito slowly started to move faster but he still couldn’t touching Asher. “Don’t think so much,” he added. “Your body reacts faster than your mind right now. Trust it.

With some magic through the WaybackMachine, I've found it! It's a really small game... but here it is. MEDIAFIRE: Link! 8.29 MB. zip file. Includes: An audio folder, the game exe, and a few game files (an ini, rgssad, dll...). No installation needed! Just click the game exe and that's it! Also, if you try to click stuff (like 'new game' or forwarding the dialogue), don't be worried if the inputs don't work. It only responds to keyboard keys LOL. Must be a 2009 game/that engine quirk.
