I've just gotten around to my 4th rewatch of Loveless! My last watch was around 7 or so years ago so I figured I'd settle back in... Its coming around to being one of my favorite animated BLs if anything - which isn't necessarily a hard spot to take. I often think BL anime (especially adaptations of manga or blvns) isn't really as good or high quality as it should be. Loveless always feels very surprising to watch in its inherent quality especially for the time. The art is absolutely fantastic. I really wish it was talked about more in modern BL anime spaces; though I guess I understand that it's a bit old. The only time I ever see it brought up anymore is to ridicule it for being shotacon or to mention it as a joke...
