Peachy-Chan Posted September 1, 2012 Posted September 1, 2012 It surprised him when he suddenly found himself riding Amir in his deer form. "It's fun too." He felt bad for resting while letting Amir do the work to get them back to town though he supposed he could make it up to him someday. He was starting to feel sleepy and decided he wouldn't question how since he had done enough of that already. Covering his mouth when he yawned, he observed the town up ahead, filled with other players.
Viperscreed Posted September 1, 2012 Author Posted September 1, 2012 Amir slowed some before he reached the town, not wanting to just run people down. His ears perked when he heard Lye yawn. "Tired, we can get a hotel if you want." Amir said, perfectly capable of buying a house at this point but had simply never got around to it.
Peachy-Chan Posted September 1, 2012 Posted September 1, 2012 Flipping his bangs out of his eyes, Lye observed the players around them. "Hm? Ah, I don't have enough money and I wouldn't want to be a bother."
Viperscreed Posted September 1, 2012 Author Posted September 1, 2012 "No it's perfectly fine, its on me." Amir insisted, glancing over his shoulder to look at Lye.
Peachy-Chan Posted September 1, 2012 Posted September 1, 2012 He was too tired to argue. "Alright. ...So if we sleep in the game....what happens in real life?" The company never explained what would happen in real life if something happened in the game but he took the risk of beta testing it anyway.
Viperscreed Posted September 1, 2012 Author Posted September 1, 2012 "You sleep, you don't leave the game till you logout." Amir explained walking toward the hotel, he had nearly had a panic attack trying to figure that out.
Peachy-Chan Posted September 1, 2012 Posted September 1, 2012 "That makes sense then. I'm starting to think this game is too real...what happens if we die?" He was curious but also concerned.
Viperscreed Posted September 1, 2012 Author Posted September 1, 2012 "You'll repawn back here or the last place you saved." Amir said walking into the hotel's lobby. "And you'll be a little sore when you logout."
Peachy-Chan Posted September 1, 2012 Posted September 1, 2012 "That's a relief." He yawned again. "Thanks for answering all these questions. It was probably covered in the Beginners Manual but I don't really like to read things like that."
Viperscreed Posted September 1, 2012 Author Posted September 1, 2012 "Of course and I don't ethier." Amir said with a smile. He turned back to a human but did so slowly and put his arms behind him to Lye so he didn't just fall on the floor but this lead to him unintentionally touching Lye's rear. He placed Lye on the ground behind him then walked up to the cashier.
Peachy-Chan Posted September 1, 2012 Posted September 1, 2012 Lye tried not to think about it too much but felt his face going red anyway. He still felt bad, letting this guy he just met pay for things but he tried to tell himself that he'd been playing longer. He felt horrible for shooting him too. He wondered if it would leave a scar in real life.
Viperscreed Posted September 1, 2012 Author Posted September 1, 2012 Amir spoke with the NPC behind the desk for a few moments then returned to Lye. "The only rooms left only have one bed, is that alright?" Amir asked, ear flicked.
Peachy-Chan Posted September 2, 2012 Posted September 2, 2012 "Oh....yeah, that's fine." Lye was a little nervous. He had never had to share a room before. His parents usually didn't let his friends sleep over and he felt too nervous to spend the night in any place that wasn't his home. He had to remember that this is just a game. He could log off and be home whenever he needed to be.
Viperscreed Posted September 2, 2012 Author Posted September 2, 2012 Amir nodded and returned to the NPC. He recognized the nervousness right away but decided it wasn't his business to ask. "Our room is on the second floor." Amir said when he returned to Lye with a set of keys.
Peachy-Chan Posted September 2, 2012 Posted September 2, 2012 "Ah, alright, sounds good." He walked up the stairs quickly.
Viperscreed Posted September 2, 2012 Author Posted September 2, 2012 "We'er in room twenty." Amir said, following Lye up the stairs.
Peachy-Chan Posted September 3, 2012 Posted September 3, 2012 Nodding, Lye continued up the stairs and down the hall, stopping only when he realized he had gone the wrong way. He turned back and decided it was best to follow Amir the rest of the way.
Viperscreed Posted September 3, 2012 Author Posted September 3, 2012 Amir stopped walking when he realized they were going the wrong way and waited for Lye to realize it to. When Lye turned around Amir started the right way down the hall only stooping when they came to the door with a big twenty on it.
